Today the dark doppelgängers of the main heroes go head to head in a battle to the death. Can Sora's Nobody stand up to Pit's reflection?

Tails: Now let's be honest here the dark side is in all of us. You can't get rid of it no matter how hard you try, the dark side will always be apart of you even if it comes to life.

Luigi: Wait come to life? What are you talking about?

Tails: I mean your dark side can sometimes LITERALLY come to life.

Luigi: Oh boy now I that's gonna hunt me.

Tails: Yep just like with Roxas, the Nobody of Sora.

Luigi: And Dark Pit, the Reflection of Pit, he's Tails and I'm Luigi.

Tails: And it's our job to analyze their weapons armor and skills to find out who would win a Death Battle.

Roxas

Tails: Among the Keyblade Welders in the Kingdom Hearts universe few were as powerful as Sora.

Luigi: He's got so much powerful magic and has fought an army of Heartless twice.

Tails: But like most protagonists, Sora didn't start off that way.

Luigi: Yeah he and his friends Riku and Kairi were only playing around on Destiny Islands until an army of Heartless invaded their home, Riku turned to the dark side, and Kairi lost her heart because you know you can't have peace without darkness.

Tails: Luckily Sora is given a Keyblade which he used to fight the Heartless. And together with his new friends Donald and Goofy, Sora set out on an adventure to save his friends. But in order to save Kairi, Sora has to release her heart by sacrificing himself.

Luigi: And that worked but it turned Sora into a Heartless and Kairi turned him back to normal.

Tails: But as a result of this action it created Nobodies of Sora and Kairi, one of them is Namine a Nobody of Kairi but since our primary focus is Sora's Nobody, his name is none other than Roxas.

Luigi: And despite being part of a supervillain group he at least made some friends.

Tails: As Sora's Nobody, Roxas is one of the few members who can wield a Keyblade.

Tails: Roxas can control anything with the elements fire, water, air, ice, and lightning.

Luigi: He can even cure his own wounds but he's got even more deadlier magic than that.

Tails: Right, Roxas can glide through the air, shield himself from several attacks, and with the Corridors of Darkness he can create portals and travel anywhere he like to go.

Luigi: He can summon 13 pillars, shoot Keyblade Beams, slash people with Dual Slash, and even cover himself in light as an incredible defense and offense called Light Armor in this he is protected by any attacks thrown at him, maneuver through the speed of light, and increase his abilities which can allow him to creat shockwaves while slashing through enemies.

Tails: But it's not unstoppable if someone were to hit the Light Armor hard enough they can over tax it thus putting him back to normal and venerable to damage.

Luigi: But Hey with all this power who cares about time limits?

Tails: True. But with this power, Roxas proved himself to be one of the most powerful warriors in the Kingdom Hearts verse.

Luigi: Roxas can keep up with Sora who along with Riku was able to block 1000 light speed lasers in a few seconds.

Quick heads up: Determined in Link VS Sora.

Tails: Sora can slice through 7 buildings with ease and launch them like projectiles and is also able to fight on par with Hercules who's lifted and threw a giant rock titan into space which requires a force of 24 megatons of TNT.

Luigi: But Herc did a way better feat in Kingdom Hearts 3 where he grabbed a tornado titan, sucked up all the other titans in the tornado, and through them all into space, and they exploded. Wow hard to believe Sora can take a hit from this guy.

Tails: While Roxas has half of Sora's power he was able to fight and defeat his best friend Xion in all of her forms and was stated to also have connection with Sora so it's likely she has the other half of Sora's power.

Luigi: Roxas is even able to a whole lot of Heartless single handily with no difficulty plus he's almost just as powerful as Xemnas. He even battled several of Xehanort's replicas alongside the Guardians of Light.

Tails: But despite all his power Roxas has some downsides of his own like all Welders he is very limited on his magic and can be a bit cocky.

Luigi: Yeah like that one time when he fought Sora he disarmed him of his Keyblade only for Sora to summon it back to his hand and strike him down. Probably should've finished him off when you had the chance their buddy.

Tails: But even with all that Roxas finally has a chance to join up with Sora's heart and so he deflected the Organization, joined the Guardians of Light, reunited with his friends, and with a replica body is now officially a somebody.

Luigi: Okay Tails hold on a second so for Nobodies to become Somebodies have to be in a Replica body? Who's coming up with this s**t?

Tails: I don't know but just bare with me. And with all this being said Roxas from the start always had a heart.

Xemnas: Ansem the Wise, Zexion...

Roxas: (Points his Oblivion at him.) And others, too. It seems you're not as good at winning over people's hearts as you think.

Dark Pit

Tails: Pit. He may seem young but he is one of the best heroes in Greek Mythology.

Luigi: Yeah he's beaten several gods with them and has many adventures, sure Nintendo has yet to make another game for the series but we can still say that he's had sever adventures through the years.

Tails: But Pit is not perfect is not perfect, during his mission to stop Pandora and preventing the Mirror of Truth from creating Underworld reinforcements, Pit destroyed it however the damage was down.

Luigi: And out from that Mirror of Truth came a clone and dark of Pit, called Dark Pit.

Luigi: Naturally Pit was tricked into destroying the mirror which created Dark Pit in the first place. And boy does Pittoo look pretty edgy.

Tails: Carful Luigi he's a bit touchy on that nickname. Anyways it turns out Pandora wanted this to happen to create Dark Pit.

Luigi: And it worked and now that this dark side version of the protagonist is gonna destroy all the good guys.... Which is what I would've said if Pit 2.0 didn't backhand punch Pandora and started doing his own thing.

Tails: Right clearly something was not right. The Mirror of Truth has the ability to scan the person and create a copy for it however because Pit cracked the mirror the copy is incomplete thus making Dark Pit 50% good and 50% bad AKA an anti-hero.

Luigi And being an anti-hero Pittoo's first response to Pandora is turning against her, stealing her powers, and is like...

Luigi: Damn. Not even a minute old and is already being edgy.

Tails: And so Dark Pit flew off on his own fighting and destroying anything and anyone in his path, rather if it's a good guy or bad guy, or hero or villain if you step in his way he will fight you.

Luigi: And he's got the perfect tools and abilities he needs.

Luigi: As a clone of Pit, Dark Pit should have all abilities, like superhuman strength speed and durability and unlike Pit who can only fly for 5 minutes he can fly on his own with little to now problem.

Tails: While Dark Pit never been shown to use any powers Pit can do he should still be capable of using. Also as for the flying thing he used to fly on his own but now he can't.

Luigi: What?! Did you not see him flying freely anytime?

Tails: While Dark Pit did have unlimited time of flying but he lost that ability near the end of the game. Now he relies on the Power of Flight that last for 5 minutes but after that his wings will burn into flames sending Dark Pit to his end.

Luigi: I see. Well what's a solider without his weapons? He's definitely got an arsenal of his own.

Tails: His weapon of choice is the Silver Bow which is similar to Pit's Palutenia Bow but the difference is that it can fire purple arrows of light.

Luigi: He can also split the bow into two and use them like swords just in case if Pittoo once to do some deadly slices.

Quick heads up: While Dark Pit can arguably weld almost all of Pit's weapons we are sticking with the once he used in Chapter 6 and in Smash Bros.

Tails: Another weapon that's different from Pit's is the Electroshock Arm which he can use to uppercut his opponents but the difference is that they get electrocuted while doing it.

Luigi: And the Dark Pit Staff is his deadly weapon he can basically use it like a sniper and deal a lot of damage especially in long range. I bet that's the weapon that was used to assassinate JFK.

Tails: What? Luigi that's not-

Luigi: I was joking.

Tails: Luigi's joking aside perhaps his most dangerous weapon in his arsenal is without a doubt the Lightning Chariot.

Luigi: This Chariot of Light can move really probably at light speed and can ram people with it and do a who lot a damage and is used by unicorns Phos and Lux who both can fire some incredible attacks.

Tails: The Lightning Chariot is powerful enough to smash through Palutena's shield which was covering her entire temple. It's also powerful enough to smash open a vortex portal. And so with several of these abilities Dark Pit has done some serious things.

Tails: As a clone of Pit he should be able to scale to him, Pit was strong enough to destroy a boulder in mid air which was launched by Thanatos. Thanatos, when standing near to Pit, appears to be about eleven feet, six inches tall. By comparing his height to the pillars, we've determined them to be eighteen feet tall. By comparing that to the boulder, it's clear it has a diameter of 115 inches. To pulverize a stone this large, Pit's strike must have outputted energy equal to nearly 1,600 pounds of TNT.

Luigi: But Dark Pit did a WAY better feat than that. One time while Pit was in the underworld trying to beat Medusa this Underworld Gatekeeper which was her last line of defense was in his way. Pit who was using the Three Sacred Treasures can't land a hit on him and guess what Pittoo did.

Dark Pit kicks the Gatekeeper.

Luigi: Yep that's right he LITERALLY one shot and killed the guardian in one kick ONE F**KING KICK! And even Pit's weapons couldn't do s**t to him and it was freaking huge in comparison.

Tails: Pit also was able to maneuver, react, and fly from the top of these clouds to the Lunar Sanctum in less than forty seconds. Despite looking like one, that's no moon, It's a space station, orbiting the Earth at a similar altitude to the International Space Station. The average distance from the ISS to the highest cloud layers is about 242 miles, meaning Pit must have flown around 21,600 miles per hour.

Luigi: That's Mach 28.

Tails: Not only did Pit dodge a laser that should move at the speed of light but he also flew beyond the stars considering how it too 15 seconds he most have flown around 8,928,696 miles per hour.

Luigi: Now that's insane.

Tails: Pit should be capable of flying faster than light so if we high ball divide 8,928,696 and 21,600 we get 413.3 which should mean Pit's best speed is at 276,964,667,777 miles per hour 413 times the speed of light. Now Dark Pit hasn't shown anything close to that but keeping up with Pit in fights, and being a clone of him proves he should be that fast.

Luigi: Pit can take a hit from Hades who sliced diamonds in half which requires a force of 7.5 megatons of TNT.

Tails: Yeah but despite all that Dark Pit isn't perfect.

Luigi: Plus Pit and Dark Pit are connected, after Pit was released in a ring which left Dark Pit in a coma, he released that both Pits have a connection so if Pit dies Dark Pit dies too.

Tails: Dark Pit is a force to be reckoned with he even joined Viridi in the Forces of Nature serving as an officer and she owns the Lightning Chariot by the way so that's still apart of his arsenal,

Luigi: Let me tell you this messing with Dark Pit is the last thing you wanna do.

Pandora: Let's get right to introduces this here is Dark Pit. He'll be your escort out of this life.

Dark Pit: (backhands Pandora.) Speak for yourself.

Tails: Alright the combatants are set and we've run the data on all possibilities.

Luigi: It's time for a DEATH BATTLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nobody's Reflection

In Twilight Town, a boy wearing a black coat named Roxas is seen holding the sea salt ice cream he's holding while sitting on the Clock Tower. Before Roxas can take a bite something flies straight through town at full speed it makes a shockwave which causing the Nobody to drop his and is sent flying against the wall. Roxas recovers and notices the ice cream he dropped next to him and sighs as he gets up.

Roxas: (Sighs) Great just my day.

Roxas opens the Corridors of Darkness and wakes in as it disappears behind him. Meanwhile the thing lands on so hard it makes smoke as it clears Dark Pit is seen standings in the center of it while taking a deep breath.

Dark Pit: (to himself) That was a close shave.

Afterwards he hears a voice that catches his attention as Roxas walks out of his portal he opened and is standing on a building as the portal closes behind him.

Roxas: Hey there! You might wanna watch where you're going cause you can end up destroying someone's property.

Dark Pit turns around and observes him and realizes something about him and thinks of the enemies he previously fought.

Dark Pit: Wait the black coat you must be must with them too, huh? In the name of Viridi the Goddess of Nature I'm taking you down!

He flies to Roxas and attempts to strike him with his blade only for Roxas to block the attack with the Oathkeeper. The Nobody uses the Oblivion on his other hand and knocks Pittoo away to the ground. Dark Pit quickly recovers and begins to rapidly fire purple arrows from the Silver Bow forcing the former Organization XIII member to glide in the air. Dark Pit advances the power of flight and chases after him.

Roxas: So that's how it's gonna be, huh?

Roxas glides forward dodging Pittoo's arrow attacks all throughout the town. Eventually he goes to a nearby building  jumps off it and purposely bumps Dark Pit knocking him back but the dark angel recovers and splits his Silver Bow into two and flies back up to his opponent. The two exchange a flurry of blows in rapid succession.

During the fisticuffs, Roxas struggles to find a way to hit Dark Pit.

Roxas: (Thinking) We seems to be evenly matched unless I could away I can't hit him. Wait!

Roxas than has an idea, he opens the Corridors of Darkness again, gets in and closes it at the last second before Pittoo could hit him. Roxas reappears above him and prepares to do an attack,

Roxas: Take this!

Roxas shoots out some wind attacks from his Keyblades which pushes Dark Pit back but he and attempts to fly through it but is pushed back to the ground and is disarmed of his two blades. The Nobody lands on the ground and starts walking to him. But Dark Pit notices one of his blades and grabs it as Roxas has already approached him.

Roxas: Need some help?

Dark Pit: Tsk. I don't need your help!

Pittoo uses the blade to summon the Electroshock Arm and uppercut Roxas in the air. As Roxas is preoccupied, Dark Pit quickly grabs his other blade and returns to his stance.

Dark Pit: I don't go down that easily!

The officer of the Forces of Nature summons an EZ Cannon and fires a blast at the former member of the Organization XIII who blocks the attack with his shields but the blast proves too much for him. Once the blast is over Roxas lets down his shield but that just gave Dark Pit a chance to fly towards him grab him and fly into the air across town once again. Sora and Pits doppelgängers once again clash their blades at a rapid succession once more.

Dark Pit does a down slash but Roxas blocks it and attempts to hit back with his Oblivion but the angel blocks it and does and over slash seeding them both falling to the ground as they are falling, Roxas uses both Keyblades to smash Dark Pit into the sewers.

Roxas lands on the ground and puts his hood on and opens the Corridors of Darkness once again and walks in as it closes behind him. Meanwhile Dark Pit recovers as he looks for his opponent but because it was dark he couldn't find him anywhere.

Dark Pit: Huh running away are we? Tsk what a coward.

As Dark Pit is about to leave, Roxas suddenly appears behind him and does a downward slash, slashing his leg and giving it a cut on his leg in the process.

Roxas: Coward?!

Pittoo prepares to fire a arrow but Roxas appears on the other side of him and shoot a fire blast from behind.

Roxas: I'm definitely not running away!

Dark Pit leaps in the air and uses Guardian Orbitars to deflect an incoming fire attack which hits Roxas and sends him flying out of the sewers and is sent flying even further up in the air when Dark Pit kicks him in the stomach as he falls into the woods hard, Roxas got hurt from it.

Roxas: Ow.

Dark Pit still in the air thanks to the Power of Flight prepares to use another trick up his sleeve as he uses his Dark Pit Staff to shoot Roxas from the air but Roxas dodges them. Not willing to give up Dark Pit uses another thing in his arsenal,

Dark Pit: Lightning Chariot!

Pittoo calls upon the Lightning Chariot and jumps on his ride and charges at Roxas who uses the 13 light pillars and fires sever shots at the chariot but the unicorns Phos and Lux fire their shots back at him they get into a struggle but unfortunately for Roxas, Dark Pit wins the struggle and continues charging at him and hits his opponent and creates an explosion.

Once it settles Dark Pit falls back with his chariot and sighs in relief.

Dark Pit: Phew finally it's over.

Until he hears a familiar voice.

Roxas: Not yet!

When the dust clears it we see Roxas who was able to turn into his Light Armor at the last second before impact. Enraged Dark Pit aggressively uses the Lightning Chariot to charge at him and ram him again but it did nothing. The dark angel tries it a second time but it didn't even scratch Roxas. The Reflection tries to ram the Nobody a third time but again Roxas didn't even flinch.

Dark Pit: Come on! Let me cut you down already!

Roxas charges at Dark Pit at full speed and does a huge Dual Slash which destroys the Lightning Chariot, kills Phos and Lux, and sends Dark Pit flying to a wall, Roxas then appears before him cornering him and charges up a large Keyblade beam from his Oathkeeper and Oblivion and prepares to finish off his enemy. Knowing that defeat is near for him Dark Pit uses his staff to charge up his own beam in an effort to survive.

Dark Pit: Not Yet! I'm gonna finish you!

Both are in a beam struggle as it ended with an explosion that was covered in blinding light.

Once it settles Roxas manages to survive though his Light Armor wore off and has some tears on his coat and has a few scars. Roxas walks up to Dark Pit who's blades were destroyed wings broken and is covered in blood from his corner to week to fight back.

Roxas: Sorry it had to end this way.

Dark Pit: Oh just shut up!

Roxas: Hmph. You got it.

Roxas slashes Dark Pit twice as his body falls apart into four pieces killing the dark angel for good.

Roxas: Phew now that was a close shave.

Roxas walks away leaving the remains of his dead opponent.

KO!

Luigi: Well looks Dark Pit didn't see that coming.

Tails: Dark Pit definitely held several advantages throughout the fight like flight, maneuverability, experience, and weaponry which definitely helped him last long and hold his own however Roxas has the edge in every other aspects

Luigi: Though Pittoo definitely has more experience it's not enough to match Roxas's toughness.

Quick heads up: Even if Dark Pit had some guidances from Viridi the victor would not change, while it does give Dark Pit a huge advantage with his goddess guiding him it's not enough to match Roxas's raw power.

Tails: With all this aside let's look at their power output. At best Dark Pit was able to beat the Underworld Gatekeeper in one kick.

Luigi: Witch is huge!

Tails: In comparison to Dark Pit's height we found out the gatekeeper appears to 359 feet tall the force to kick something of this size would have to be at least 858 megatons of TNT.

Quick heads up: I used a measuring app and that's how I got 359 and compared it to joules to tons of TNT and that's how I got it.

Luigi: But Roxas's get the edge over that. Remember Sora fighting Hercules who threw all the titans into space?

Tails: In comparison to Herc's height and all of the titans that were all caught in his grasp at once he must threw it with a force of 662,098 megatons of TNT.

Luigi: Way more than Pittoo kicking around the big guardian. Plus Sora can take a hit from him.

Tails: In speed Dark Pit scaling to Pit should be able to move at 276,964,667,777 miles per hour but thanks to keeping up with Sora and Riku who can react when blocking 1000 light speed lasers at 670,616,629,384 miles per hour makes Roxas over 2 times faster even if we half it to 335,308,314,692 miles per hour that's still 1.21 times faster than anything Dark Pit can go up to.

Quick heads up: The Lightning Chariot may have reached Palutena's Temple in several minutes but it took a warp tunnel to do this, it's not the same as traveling across galaxies in seconds of minutes especially if you take some kind of portal to reach your destination. Plus the chariot doesn't scale to Dark Pit's actual speed because it's a vehicle. Also just because the chariot was made by a goddess doesn't mean anything, as Roxas scales to Sora who has blocked/defended himself against god-like beings before so Roxas shouldn't have any problems with the Lightning Chariot So it doesn't matter.

Luigi: But even if he could keep up with him, Dark Pit is having a hard time trying to take out Roxas for good because while Dark Pit at best can take a hit up to 7.5 megatons, Roxas's durability is at least 8 times tougher than him plus there's no way Pittoo could get passed Roxas's magical arsenal, like light beams, light pillars, and even the light armor.

Tails: Dark Pit was certainly a powerful contender but Roxas's strength, speed, durability, and magical powers were just too much for the dark angel.

Luigi: Yeah Roxas had the oath to Pitto-own him to oblivion.

Tails: The winner is Roxas.
