This battle features two platforming duos in a battle to the end. Which one of these two teams will survive and live to fight another day?

Porto Man: Sometimes, the most unlikely of friends can become the best of heroes.

Knuckles: And some of them come from all shapes and sizes.

Porto Man: Like Banjo and Kazooie, the bear and bird combo.

Knuckles: And Yooka and Laylee, the lizard and bat combo. He's Porto Man and I'm Knuckles the Echidna.

Porto Man: And it's our job to analyze their weapons armor and skills to find out who would win a Death Battle.

Banjo and Kazooie

Porto Man: In his homeland in the Spiral Mountain, Banjo was a pretty chill guy.

Knuckles: Kazooie? What kind of a name is "Kazooie"? Even Deku is a better name than this.

Porto Man: Don't let this fool you. Anyways Kazooie took up permanent residence in Banjo's backpack, rarely being let out even when that pack's on the coat rack. And surprisingly the two became good friends.

Knuckles: I want all you viewers taking notes because right off the bat some old green skin witch named Gruntilda kidnapped Banjo's little sister, Tooty, in an effort to gain her beauty. Just the first in a lifetime of stupid moves.

Porto Man: In order to save Tooty, Banjo and Kazooie teamed up on an adventure to stop Gruntilda.

Knuckles: And the got the skills they needed to take down the witch terror.

Knuckles: Banjo's super strong and really tough, he can climb up trees, swim in the water, and many more.

Porto Man: Banjo also has some descent moves he's got deadly claws for Claw Swipe. Pack Whack let's him slam backpack down like hammer or swings it in a wide circle, with Taxi Pack he can stash items in its hammerspace content, he slips inside of his backpack to fit into small spaces and survive hazardous environments with Shack Pack, he can his backpack as a sac-race sack to traverse dangerous grounds and liquid pools and with Snooze Pack he uhh....uses backpack as makeshift sleeping back and naps to regain health.

Knuckles: But we can't forget about Banjo's sidekick Kazooie. She's super fast at running, she's also strong enough to carry Banjo around when ever he's lazy and she can fly. Oh and she can transform into a dragon version of herself.

Quick heads up: Although in gaming mechanics Kazooie can glide she still should be capable of flying.

Porto Man: Kazooie can do a back flip with Leg Spring, and with Wing Whack she can karate chop with wings or spin like a top with wings outstretched.

Quick heads up: She also has Hatch witch she can hatch or warm any object she sits on however it's not particularly useful here.

Knuckles: But as a team they can do all kinds of crazy things. Banjo can use Kazooie as a weapon and use her beak to smash through solid stone, and surprisingly she's okay with that.

Porto Man: They can do a torpedo underwater, they can even jump even higher in the air and even do a Rat-a-tap Rap type attack.

Knuckles: But my personal favorite is the Wonderwing it makes them completely invulnerable surrounds them with a gold aura and completely destroys any foe it touches or at least turn them into gold.

Porto Man: Aside from their own abilities Banjo and Kazooie are equipment with multiple weapons at their side.

Knuckles: Oh yeah for starters they can shoot out multiple times of eggs that can create fire, freezing, explosions, and uhhhh creating a robot version of Kazooie...

Porto Man: Banjo and Kazooie many tools the items like springs, a pad that allows them to fly even though they already have other ways to do so and has an ice shaped key.

Knuckles: They also have some cool boots which allows them to run on water, creates springs and so on.

Porto Man: During their quest to save Banjo's sister from the wannabe Wicked Witch of the West, and to save the world from multiple kinds of crazy situations.

Knuckles: Banjo is strong enough to lift this giant can just look at the size of that thing.

Porto Man: By comparing it's size to Bango and the can he must have lifted up to 4953 Metric Tons.

Knuckles: Even better he was able to lift a giant dinosaur and throw him. And he survived be crushed by him. Man what is it with this guy in getting crushed?

By comparing the dinosaur's foot to Banjo and the dinosaur itself it should be about 106 meters tall. And to throw him he must have thrown with the force of 1.19 megatons of TNT.

Knuckles: Dang this guy's most likely stronger than me. But these guys are not just strong and tough their pretty quick too.

Porto Man: Banjo and Kazooie were quick enough to dodge meteors which should move at 160,000 miles per hour so they're reaction speed must be at 80,000 miles per hour.

Knuckles: Oh yeah they definitely have what it takes to save the day from a ugly witch.

Knuckles: Don't underestimate the bear and bird duo.

Porto Man: Setting up their camp in an old galleon re-dubbed "Bat Ship Crazy"-

Knuckles: Oh, WAY to run that one under the radar, PlayTonic games!

Porto Man: Yooka the chameleon was setting up shop at Shipwreck Cove.

Porto Man: One day they found a strange book that just happened to be one-the very thing holding their world together.

Knuckles: Yeah well obviously there's gonna be some villain who wants that so Capital B was like "Hey you know what would be awesome: Finding a book that can help me take over the world."

Porto Man: so be sought to use the book's power to gain control over the industry and take over the world.

Knuckles: And thus Yooka and Laylee's adventure begins.

Porto Man: Just like another video game duo they have quite a few abilities.

Knuckles: Heck yeah, Yooka can stick out his tongue and use it as a weapon like shooting out multiple objects.

Porto Man: And certain meals that Yooka eats can transform if he eats metal like objects he turns metal though it can make him lose weight this is perfect to going through smoke. He also has other transformations like fire, electricity, glowing in the dark kind, and uhhhh....let's him become sticky. Weird.

Knuckles: Well aside from that he can jump with his tail and swing around with his tongue like Spider-Man when grabbing on to objects.

Porto Man: As for Laylee she can fly like a normal bat, she can create soundwaves at enemies with a beam, create a sound explosion, and even create a shield to protect both from enemies doing real damage.

Knuckles: But as a team their unstoppable. They can do an aerial attack in they air, turn invisible together, can do a Reptile Roll to roll into a ball, and do a freaking body slam.

Porto Man: Well technically to do a body slam Yooka jumps and Laylee hits Yooka downward in mid-air to hit the ground hard.

Knuckles: Well the point is that they both have the skills needed to put Captain B in his place.

Knuckles: Their quick enough to dodge a robot shooting out a laser beam from this robot.

Porto Man: Which are actually lasers so they should move at light speed based on the distance Yooka and Laylee moved the world have reacted to something around 24,837,652 miles per hour.

Knuckles: Hey let's not leave out the time where they broke off some tough gold.

Porto Man: Gold weighs about 19.3 grams. Based on the side this Yooka must have did it with around 96 tons of TNT (96.5 tons).

Knuckles: Even greater they survived this explosion like holy cow just look at the size of that thing.

Porto Man: The explosion should be comparable to the size of Saturn. So this explosion must be at 13,392 kilotons of TNT.

Knuckles: Too bad they have some downfalls on the way though.

Knuckles: But still don't underestimate the duo of Yooka and Laylee it's the last thing a lot of enemies ever did.

Yooka: Ah, this is the life... I think this old shipwreck finally feels like home, Laylee.

Laylee: That'll be my vibrant paintjob, Yooka.

Verdict

Porto Man: Alright the combatants are set and we've run the data on all possibilities.

Knuckles: It's time for a DEATH BATTLE!!!!!!

Platforming teams

In a large jungle, Banjo and Kazooie are walking down the road as Banjo is reading the map.

Banjo: Hmmmm. This must be the place just like you said it would be Kazooie.

Kazooie: Well or course that's why I said it, Banjo I mean it's on the map is it not?

The duo walks inside a cave meanwhile another duo Yooka and Laylee are walking in a cave from the other side.

Yooka: Wow this place is amazing I can't wait to see what's inside.

Laylee: If you ask me Yooka I bet something amazing is inside that cave.

They continue walking. Meanwhile Banjo and Kazooie made it to the center of the cave as Kazooie notices something up ahead.

Kazooie: Banjo look!

As they look the bear and bird duo stumble upon a golden Jiggy.

Banjo: Whoa. It's amazing.

Before they can grab it they hear voices.

Yooka: Laylee you were right.

Laylee: See I told ya so now let's grab it and go.

The voices were none other than Yooka and Laylee who appeared the same time as Banjo and Kazooie did. The moment the teams looked at each other they are surprised (with the iconic Metal Gear !).

Banjo: Hey geezers we found that first!

Kazooie: Yeah finders, keepers, losers, weepers so scram!

Yooka: What? No we found that first so you are the ones who need to scram!

Laylee: That's right so get outa here so we can get what we came for!

The Platforming Video Game Icon teams jump in to engage each other in combat. they head-butt each other and knocked each other back on opposite sides.

After landing Yooka attacks Banjo by using his tongue.

Yooka: Take this!

Yooka raps his tongue around Banjo's arm and yanks him in the air however the Honey Bear pulls the Chameleon in the air with him and lands.

Banjo: Nice trick! My turn.

He spins Yooka around and tosses him out the cave. Banjo follows his opponent. Meanwhile Kazooie and Laylee are in the air clashing attacks. Kazooie attempts to dive at her but ultimately fails as Laylee pulls up her Sonar Shield knocking the bird away.

Laylee: Ha ha! Nice try!

However the moment Laylee lowers her sheild Kazooie talked the bat out the cave the same way Banjo and Yooka came out.

Kazooie: Geez you're annoying less talk and more fight!

As Banjo and Yooka continue their battle they notice their sidekicks coming to their aid as both teams take a moment to come up with a plan.

Banjo: Kazooie these guys are tougher than we thought.

Kazooie: Than it's time for plan B!

Banjo pulls out some eggs and Kazooie eats them. As Yooka and Laylee prepare for the worst.

Laylee: What are they doing?

Yooka: I don't know but whatever it is we have to stop them before they have a chance to do  whatever it is their doing.

Yooka and Laylee charge at their opponents to stop them but it's too late as Banjo holds Kazooie as she's locked and loaded.

Banjo: Fire!

Kazooie starts firing eggs from her mouth as the duo yells at the top of their lungs.

Banjo and Kazooie: OH YEEEEEEAAAAAAHHH!!!!!!!

Yooka and Laylee: Whoa!

Banjo and Kazooie force Yooka and Laylee to flee as the keep on firing eggs as they lure them to a beach. Yooka and Laylee attempts to dodge them but were hit by a fire egg which sends them flying straight in the air.

Yooka and Laylee land on a nearby beach (the same beach from Katara VS Juvia) far away from the island the fight began. They get back up and recover.

Yooka: Ow man. Laylee these guys are full of surprises!

Laylee: Speaking of surprises look!

They look and see Banjo and Kazooie running on water thanks to the Turbo Trainers. They run at full speed as Banjo prepares to throw a punch however Yooka catches the fist and throws the duo in the air knocking them down.

Yooka: Time to hide!

Laylee: Right!

They turn invincible as Banjo and Kazooie get back up only to find out that Yooka and Laylee are gone.

Banjo: Come on out cowards!

Kazooie: You can't hide forever!

They both get hit from an attack.

Banjo: What was that?

They get hit hit again

Kazooie: Where did that come from?!

The get hit again and again until Banjo finally cat aches and attack causing Yooka and Laylee to be visible again.

Banjo: Okay not bad but you're still gonna lose this!

He uses Kazooie like a bat and send their opponents flying in the air again.

Yooka and Laylee land on the ground.

Yooka: Laylee are you okay?

Laylee: I'm fine but we got worst problems!

They look and see Banjo and Kazooie are charging at them.

Banjo: Let's finish this, Kazooie!

Kazooie: Alright, Banjo!

Refusing to give up Yooka and Laylee charge at their opponents as well.

Yooka: Oh no you don't, let's go, Laylee!

Laylee: Okay Yooka!

Both teams charge at full speed however Banjo and Kazooie won the clash and knock them away and uses Wonderwing and fires the attack at their enemies. Yooka and Laylee use Sonar Shield to sheild themselves but the power was to much and are frozen into gold in place from the attack.

Banjo slams Kazooie into onto the frozen Yooka and Laylee, shattering them into pieces in the process. The winning duo take a moment to look at their enemies's remains.

Banjo: So was it really necessary to do that to them?

Kazooie: Well we've done this before in the past so this is no different.

Banjo: You do have a point...

Banjo and Kazooie leave the scene.

KO!

Banjo and Kazooie are seen at a beach taking a vacation with a claimed Jiggy while a pack of wolves sniff Yooka and Laylee's golden remains.

Results

(*Cues: Turtle and Toad again*)

Knuckles: I guess old school is better than modern after all.

Porto Man: I'm honestly how this turned out this is a really really close match to date.

Quick heads up: While both teams have been shown being able to transform into multiple objects such as boats, cars, missiles, etc. those all require outside help from other sources so that's the reason why they weren't included in this battle.

Knuckles: Yooka and Laylee are definitely faster than Banjo and Kazooie according to our calculations Yooka and Laylee are 310 times faster than Banjo and Kazooie.

Porto Man: But Banjo and Kazooie's better abilities and arsenal gave them the victory.

Knuckles: Yeah Banjo can lift a dinosaur and throw it and in the that is WAY stronger than break some gold.

Porto Man: Plus Banjo and Kazooie has a huge verity of arsenal giving them multiple options needed in the fight.

Knuckles: Like how Laylee's Sonar Shield didn't matter when Kazooie's Wonderwing can last longer.

Porto Man: So speed alone isn't enough because Banjo and Kazooie's power ups and tools gave them more advantages making it difficult for Yooka and Laylee to land a fatal blow.

Knuckles: If they could land anything fatal at all.

Porto Man: Banjo and Kazooie's durability blew Yooka and Laylee's out of the water. Based on our calculations Banjo and Kazooie are much tougher.

Quick heads up: The explosion Yooka and Laylee survived is not necessary planet level sure it looks like Saturn but it's MUCH smaller than it.

Knuckles: so Yooka and Laylee had a hard time landing any damage because Banjo and Kazooie are just too tough.

Porto Man: Plus Banjo and Kazooie have more experienced taking on magical foes something Yooka and Laylee couldn't possibly compare.

Knuckles: Plus Banjo and Kazooie both have way more solo experience without each other as Yooka and Laylee have never shown to work individual on their own not as a team.

Porto Man: Yooka and Laylee may have the better speed and stamina but thanks to Banjo and Kazooie's strength, durability, and verity arsenal they had a hard time trying to land a fatal blow.

Knuckles: This battle was just too much of a heavy bird-en to bear for Yooka and Laylee.

Porto Man: The winners are Banjo and Kazooie.
