After joining their allies in the quest to save their worlds, Mario and Sonic think of a way on how they defeat their new enemies. And even figure out who they are.

Mario and Sonic appear to be running for some reason.

Sonic: Agh! We have to stop it before it reports our location!

Mario: We're almost there we just have to go faster!

It appears that Mario and Sonic are chasing a big creature how was on the verge of escaping.

Sonic: Eh screw it! Mario knock me towards him with your hammer!

Mario: On it! Batter up!

Mario prepares his hammer and knocks Sonic towards the creature as he Spin Dashes into his chest, killing it in the process.

Sonic: Phew. That was close.

Mario: Yeah it sure was. Also look.

After words have been spoken they look up and see the skies changing color from purple to light blue.

Mario and Sonic: WHAAAAAAAAAAAT?!

Mario: The skies, they, they...

Sonic: Changed colors! What's going on?

(*Cues: Resistance theme*)

Back at base Tails and E. Gadd tell everyone what's going on.

E. Gadd: Unbelievable. The skies changing color.

Mario: So what happened?

E. Gadd: While Luigi and Tails were trying to escape prison, Tails gathered some info in this chip of everything our new enemies hold. And I looked at his intel on everything he's got which would explain the situation.

Sonic: So what intel did you get Tails?

Tails: Aside from overhearing the conversation about their plan...

We cut to a brief flashback to when Luigi and Tails are escaping where Tails is collecting data from a computer.

Tails: I managed to download some data by a computer about the things that's going on with the skies and environment.

Tails was finished downloading and he and Luigi quickly got back to escaping as we get back to the present day.

Luigi: You mea that nearby computer we saw while we were escaping?

Tails: Yep and judging by what I found, the sky and the sun changes every time a day passes from purple, light blue, regular blue, green, yellow, orange, and red.

Mario: So what you're saying is that a day just passed and we now have 6 days left?

Tails: Yep. I'm afraid so.

Sonic: Man time flies really fast. And we just got here and we don't even know who are mysterious enemies are.

E. Gadd: Well whoever are those guys are they must be responsible for this. Which is why I invited these time watches.

E. Gadd shows everyone the watches.

All: Whoa.

E. Gadd: Each watch has a timer on them set to 144 hours. When the skies turn red that's the time will reach zero.

Everybody each puts on a watch.

Mario: Alright now we know what's going on so this means we gotta move quick if we're going to stop them.

Sonic: Yeah so let's find out who ever these guys are and kick every single one of  their butts.

All: Right!

Meanwhile Slash and Terra are having a conversation.

Slash: Great once again those guys are still trying to keep up. How did they get the intel?!

Terra: It was that fox boy while he and the green plumber were escaping from our hands he managed to snag some intel about what's happening. Good thing that wasn't all the information he had.

Slash: Huh? What are you talking about?

Terra: You'll see.

Terra pulls out her phone and calls their leader.

Terra: Nothing on them yet. What? Are you sure? Okay I see, sir. We'll await your next move.

She got of the phone.

Slash: What did the boss say?

Terra: Get prepared because we have a plan.

Slash: Plan? What are you-

Terra: Not our main plan we have another plan.

Slash: And what other plan is that?

Terra: You'll see.

(*Cues: Music stops*)

At the Freedom Fighter's base. Sonic and Mario are seen talking to E. Gadd who was fixing the Tornado.

Sonic: Think you can fix it?

E. Gadd: Of course I will trust me your fox friend will have his plan fixed before the Ultimate Day.

Mario: Wait the what now?

E. Gadd: Ultimate Day. I decided to call it that because that's the day before our greatest battle yet starts.

Mario: I see.

Sonic: What about some weapons and abilities will be ready by the time the day comes.

Mario: That's great than the Freedom Fighters should be all good.

The screen on the map starts glitching out. As this happens it catches the Freedom Fighter's attention. They all look confused and began to question what's wrong.

Creamy: Hey what's going on?

Espio: This wasn't like this an hour ago.

Silver: Well can someone fix it?

Wario tried to fix it only to find out that it's not working.

Wario: Ugh It's not working.

Waluigi: Let me try.

Waluigi pushes a button but that only made things worse as electricity starts coming out of the screen with the purple plumber nearly dodging it.

Waluigi: Whoa what the heck?!

Peach: Oh no.

The screen suddenly goes black and the lights of the entire base go off.

Mario: Uh oh.

Sonic: This is bad.

(*Cues: Xehanort theme*)

Everyone one turns on their flashlights so they can see in the dark.

Mario: Uh what just happened?

Sonic: The power must have gone off.

E. Gadd: This has never happened before.

Everyone looks around to see what's going on as they all spread out to each room as E. Gadd calls the workers to search the place.

E. Gadd: Everyone check in!

Worker 1: All clear here.

Worker 2: Yeah down here is clear too.

Worker 3: Wait!

E. Gadd: Huh?

Worker 3: I got something.

E. Gadd: What is it?

Worker 3: Uh I'm not sure but something appears to be interfering with the power system..... Something dark.

As he says this Mario and Sonic are in shocked as the looked at each with the worker continuing to report what's happening.

Worker 3: It's glowing blue for some reason! Should I take a look Professor?

Gadd looks at Mario and Sonic and can tell by the looks on their faces that something is wrong.

E. Gadd: No get out of there now! It's dangerous!

The worker listens to the Professor and runs out of there and makes it back however the glowing light sent a shockwave all over the base knocking the worker out in the process. The heroes felt the shockwave as it leaves the base. Once it settles they all get up and wonder what's happening.

Vector: Oh man I do not like the sound of that.

Espio: Indeed. I feel that something is not right.

Wario: Great and things were already worse as it is.

Daisy: What else can possibly go wrong.

(*Music stop*)

As Daisy says this the alarm goes off much to the Freedom Fighters's suprise.

Blaze: You just has to say didn't you?

E. Gadd looks at his computer and is shocked at what he saw.

E. Gadd: It can't be!

Peach: What is it?

E. Gadd: Somebody is hacking our system!

Tails: But who and how?

E. Gadd: I'm not sure but I'm gonna block whoever the person is.

E. Gadd tries to block the hacker as the hacker talks.

???: Sorry but I'm afraid I can't let you do that, Professor E. Gadd!

Everyone is shocked by the voice however Mario and Sonic managed to figure out who the voice was.

Mario: So it's you again!

Sonic: Yeah don't think we're idiots!

The camera cuts to the hacker who turned out to be Terra who was using her own computer to hack into the Freedom Fighter's base.

Terra: I'm impressed you two were able to figure out who I am.

Sonic: Hey chump instead of sitting on that computer why not come find and fight us face to face.

Terra: I would but I'm not in the mood at the moment, I'm just hacking your system just boring some data that I need.

As she explains what she's doing while hacking the camera cuts to the worker from before as he notices a lightning simple within the light.

Terra: I have control of the entire base for instance I made it proof so that everyone in the base can hear me. I used my hacking skills to placed a lightning bolt symbol on the wires to turn of all your power so I can hack your system.

The worker hearing this attempts to grab it however he gets shocked in the process forcing him to step back.

Terra: I wouldn't try to pull it out let alone touch it unless you want your hand to get shocked.

She then makes a familiar pun.

Terra: You could say you were shocked to find out what I did.

Terra attempts to break trough the fire walls as E. Gadd struggles to stop her.

E. Gadd: Gah! She starting to break through the fire walls!

Peach: If she breaks completely through she'll gain access to all of our systems!

E. Gadd: She's too tough what will I do?

Tails: Let me do it!

Tails steps up and volunteers to stop Terra.

Luigi: You sure about this?

Tails: Trust me I can do this!

E. Gadd: Alright let's hope your right. I'm giving you the controls.

Tails takes control of the computer.

Tails steps up and volunteers to stop Terra.

Luigi: You sure about this?

Tails: Trust me I can do this!

E. Gadd: Alright let's hope your right. I'm giving you the controls.

Tails takes control of the computer.

Terra: So you wanna challenge fox boy? You really are clever.

Tails: I'll show you what I'm made off!

Terra: Big words kid, you better hope their right because you're not gonna make it!

Tails and Terra starts hacking each other hoping for one to chock. They press the buttons hard. In the cyber world two versions of two hackers are fighting each other like some kind of video game.

Note: A quick note these counterparts of Terra and Tails were made in the cyberspace to fight each other by their original counterparts so anything their saying the real versions are saying too. They do not have the same abilities as their cyber counterparts.

Terra attempts to hit Tails but the fox dodged thanks to his agility and punches her in the stomach. As the villainess recovers Tails uses his magic hand to send her flying. Before Terra can hit the ground Tails grabs her flies in the air and throws her to the wall.

Terra: Not bad but not good enough.

Terra was alarmed when Tails was flying at her.

Tails: I told you I'd show you what I'm made off!

Tails prepares to collide into the wall. Terra rolls upward to narrowly avoid Tails's' punch and uses her electrokinesis to charge up her power.

Terra: And I told YOU you're not gonna make it!

Terra leaps forward to punch Sonic's sidekick a few times before Tails counter with a tails sping and sends her flying in the air but she manages to halt her fly and chuckles at Tails as she backs up.

Tails: Huh?

Tails notices something wrong and gets out of the way as some incoming cyber-like creatures come at him.

Tails: Whoa!

The Two Tailed Fox nearly dodges them all simply by flying, Terra attempts to grab him with an electric rope but Tails flys at full speed to avoid her.

Terra puts her hands on the ground and begins to electrocute it. Her electric attack goes all over the entire the environment it even breaks further through E. Gadd's fire walls. Tails attempts to stop from the air but is shocked by Terra's attack causing him to fall.

Tails: Keep flying! Keep flying!

Tails uses his bots to shield his fall however Terra shoots a bolt of electricity that gets her opponent stuck in midair.

Tails: Stop flying! Stop flying!

Terra jumps in the and throws a huge kick sending him flying 30 feet away. She turns around and continues breaking through the fire walls. However Tails refuses to give up as we cut to the real world.

Tails: Oh no, you don't!

Tails presses a button as his cyber world counterpart uses his hand cannon and fires a shot at Terra in the back.

Terra: What?

She turns around and sees her opponent shooting her a few times. We cut to the real world with Terra.

Terra: Okay, you've got surprises, but so do I!

Terra pushes on a few keys causing her cyber counterpart to charge at Tails and prepare a kick to his face however Tails uses his bits to shield himself. The fox than drops several dummy rings on top off Terra giving him a chance for counterattack.

Tails leaps forward towards Terra charges you her power and turns electric leaving the player two startled.

Tails: What the-

Terra tackles Tails sending both of them backwards ramming through a bunch of cyber monsters.

Tails attempts to trap his opponent in his robot shields.

Terra: Tsk! Nice try!

However she breaks out of it destroying it in the process. She sees Tails smiling.

Terra: Why so cocky? You're about to lose your system.

Terra hears a beaming. She looks behind her and noticed a bomb.

Terra: Huh?

Tails: Got ya!

We have a brief flashback moments ago and it turns out Tails places a bomb on Terra's back while she was ramming him.

Terra: Are you stupid? All I gotta do is-

She charges her electric attacks however the bomb absorbs the electricity.

Terra: -what!?

Tails: I wouldn't try to use your electric abilities if I were you escaping since it will explode if you do so. You just got out-foxed!

Terra: Why you!!!!!

The bomb explodes destroying Terra's cyber counterpart and preventing her from reaching E. Gadd's fire walls. In the real world the worker uses this opportunity to grab lightning bolt symbol and shatter it into pieces ending Terra's hacking in the process much to the female villain's rage.

Terra: Grrrrrrr!!!! This is impossible!

Meanwhile the lights in the base all turn back on and the system is back online.

Peach: Hey everything's back online.

Luigi: Awesome job Tails.

Sonic: Yeah you nailed him.

E. Gadd: Wow great job your world really does have a great genius like you.

Tails: Thanks. But that's not all.

(*Cues: Resistance theme-again*)

Tails: While I was trying to Terra from hacking our system she exposed a few things. One of them is the location of the mastermind right here.

Tails pulls up the leader's location on the map.

Amy: Good thinking, Tails.

Peach: Now we have a lead on whoever's behind all this.

Mario: So? What are we waiting for?

Sonic: Let's get a search squad out there to find him.

Mario and Sonic leave the base to find their mysterious enemy and his mysterious group.
