As the ship flies through space, Y/N was leaning against the window looking at the text from her phone that she received from Bowser Junior.

"Hey, BJ. Do you know where your dad is?"

"No, sorry. I don't where he went after dropping us off to your house."

"I seriously hope you guys didn't mess up anything and at least, clean up 😠"

"No, worries. I promise. Hopefully... 😅😅"

"Uh-huh...😒😒"

"Anyways! When are you going to make it official?"

Y/N raised her eyebrow by that and replied back to him.

"What do you mean?"

"I mean, when are you and Bowser are going to become mother and father? I really wanted to call you more than just 'Miss Y/N'"

This made her blush in embarrassment as she hadn't thought about marriage yet with Bowser. Sure, they had a talk about it, but they weren't ready for it yet. Not until their secret will be revealed to everyone soon.

"Well... Maybe someday? I'm not sure."

"You better become my momma sooner than later. You're the best one I could ever ask for."

Seeing him write that made her smile fondly. She glances over to see the others are joining in to see what planet they're heading off to.

"I gotta go. The world cannot be saved without me and my friends."

"Okay. See you, momma! 💕"

Y/N tears up at that and will hear it from his own words soon. She gets out of the text message from BJ and went to the next one, which is Bowser. Y/N thinks for a moment of what to say before typing it.

"Hey, Bowser. Where are you? I'm getting worried about you ever since Cursa took over the world, including your minions. Please let me know that you're okay."

She waited for a moment for him to reply when she heard Mario calls over to her. She quickly shoves her phone in her pocket and goes over to the group as she stands next to Edge. The hologram shows the big snowy mountain with ice.

"We are approaching Pristine Peaks! Nothing warms the heart and awakens the senses like its crisp, fresh snowfalls, and the sound of hot cocoa mugs clanking together over hearty laughter at spirited outdoor fondue parties!" Beep-0 said, looking happy and excited.

"Atmospheric scans indicate that its temperature has plummeted - it is now a frozen, Darkmess-infested wasteland, where ice caves rife with danger offer little shelter from treacherous climbs through steep mountain cliffs. Also, fondue pots are difficult to clean and major cause of serious burn injuries." Jeanie explained, bursting his bubble.

"Well, I know who I'm NOT going to add as my 'plus one' for their annual Radgnar Riders Snowboard Festival!" Beep-0 sassed, looking offended.

Rabbid Y/N and Y/N snickered. The ship soon heads into the planet where everything is snowy as they fly past the mountain that was covered in Darkmess before landing by where all the covered snow trees are. The group walked out only to feel a very cold breeze and they covered themselves to at least stay warm. They looked over to see almost everything is frozen as they could see ice spikes on the ground.

"As my analysis confirmed, this 'winter wonderland' feels more like a winter wasteland." Jeanie said. "There is a Darkmess Tentacle north of us in the mountains - the likely source of this blizzard which induces misery on everyone it touches."

"WOOOO! POLAR BEAR SWIM! WHERE'S THE LAKE?!" Rabbid Luigi exclaimed excitedly.

"Stay put, Rabbid Luigi!" Beep-0 scolded.

"There will be a warden here somewhere, as with Angie on Beacon Beach, but so far I can detect no sign of them. However, I CAN confirm there is a life form hidden in that tree, and not one of Darkmess energy, either." Jeanie said, looking at the direction of tree.

"Let's check on them, anyhow. Maybe they know where to find one of those luxury outdoor barrel saunas I heard about." Beep-0 said.

Curious on who's behind that tree, they all walked over to it and Mario started to shake it. This causes something to fall to the ground. The heroes walked over to the hole that was made until something popped out to reveal a magenta Spark as it shook the snow off of it. It smiled to see them and was about to speak when it sneezes instead. After a couple of more sneezes, the Spark let out the loudest sneeze that nearly send everyone flying as they brace themselves from the hard blow. That loud sneeze causes the stone wall that was behind them to shatter into pieces, surprising everyone at such power.

"Whoa!!"

The Spark flies around Mario then goes around his legs and under and then pass by the others. They're amazed with that creature.

"Wow!" Luigi said in awe.

"HURRAH! THANK GOODNESS, YOU FOUND ME! MY NAME'S DECIBEL!" Decibel said loudly, which nearly hurt everyone's ears.

"Er yes yes... We can hear you just fine, so you know." Beep-0 said, wincing.

"HA! SORRY! IS IT OKAY IF I COME WITH YOU? I'M NOT MUCH GOOD IN A FIGHT BUT I CAN DO OTHER STUFF! I HAVE SONIC POWERS STRONG ENOUGH TO MOVE HEAVY OBJECTS - EVEN DESTROY THINGS SOMETIMES!"

"We saw firsthand at Beacon Beach how useful a Spark's abilities are. However-"

But Beep-0 was cut off as Decibel flies straight into him. His face turns magenta for a moment before going to his original color as his face is green with a closed eye smile.

"TEE HEE! THAT TICKLES! OHH, AND I HAVE SONIC POWERS NOW!"

"And now he's like Decibel." Rabbid Y/N commented, making Rabbid Mario snicker.

Beep-0 flies over to see a giant stone wall near the edge along with other more walls.

"THAT BRIDGE! IF I CAN USE MY NEW SONIC POWERS TO-"

"Beep-0, you're being a little too loud." Y/N said.

"Oh. Sorry, that's loud. Let me try again." he said, clearing his throat before speaking normally. "That bridge! If I can use my new sonic powers to knock it down, it'll be our ticket to the top of the mountain!"

Before they head to the wall that has a symbol of Darkmess, they walk across the bridge that leads into the town. They head over to the Rabbid citizen, who's shivering in fear and cold.

"Cursa's army has invaded the planet! Squashers are EVERYWHERE. I'm afraid to even s-s-stamp my feet for warmth! I-I-If you coul clear out at least THREE Squashers I could m-m-maybe make a run for some vegan chai hot chocolate."

Mario and others nodded and went straight towards one of the Squashers that happen to be nearby and dashed it, causing them to be sent into another dimension. They found themselves seeing four Squashers and two Bob-ombs. Mario did a team jump as Beep-0 grabs him for him to fly and he shoots one of the Squashers two times until it disappears. Mario lands between two more Squashers and he activates Toxiquake to do his thing as the Spark releases Shockwave Ooze, poisoning them as they disappear after. Edge dashes at the last Squashers two times before Rabbid Luigi finishes the blow with his flying disc. Y/N carefully aims at the two Bob-ombs with her dark sabers before throwing it, causing them to explode. One down, two more to go.

They managed to find the second Squasher and it didn't take long for them to defeat it before seeing a Darkmess Puddle covering up the wall of the mountain with the Rabbid citizen nearby as he needed their help. They gladly helped as they managed to defeat ten enemies from the puddle before coming back and the Darkmess Puddle disappeared. Later, they found the last Squasher and defeated it in instant. They even have to face against the Darkmess Eyes that came from the puddle while dealing with plenty of Flamin' Stooges, Lone Wolves, and Frozen Wildfangs.

Now, they're by the wall that Beep-0 saw earlier as Y/N nodded to Edge, who nods back. Edge grabs Beep-0 and presses it, causing him to let out a Sound Wave and it causes the wall to fall down and makes a bridge for them to go across. She did the same with the other as they walk up to the mountain till, they made it to their stop where they can see the cave inside that mountain is covered with Darkmess. Without hesitation, they jump into the Darkmess as it teleports them to a different dimension.

They see plenty of Bob-ombs and Wildclaws, knowing things will be serious here. Suddenly, an ice Spark flies over to them.

"Please, win this battle? You Heroes are my only way out of here."

"You have a name?" Rabbid Y/N asked.

"I'm Cryobolide." Cryobolide said then looked at the Wildclaws. "Deep Freezes will freeze you in your tracks with their Blizzard Burst Technique. When defeated, they'll set off a frozen explosion! It's sort of a no-win situation. Anyhow, just get to the end of the battlefield, quickly!"

"Then we better think quickly." Y/N said with determination.

"Let's a-go!" Mario said.

Dashing at the Bob-ombs and throwing them at the edge, they face one of the Deep Freezes as Edge throws her giant sword at him, as it hits him multiple times before it flies back to her. Rabbid Luigi nods to Pyrostar as it happily activates Burn Super Effect on his disc before he throws it at Deep Freeze. Since he's part of the snow, fire can burn anything that's cold. Deep Freeze runs around with his tail on fire after getting hit. It left a huge damage as it's now defeated. The Wildclaw growls for a moment as he looked ready to explode before letting out a loud roar, creating lots of ice spikes from the ground before disappearing. Luckily, the group are far away from him as they made a quick note of that. After defeating some enemies, they managed to reach the end of the area as they made it back out with a new Spark as their ally.

Not only did they find some things after defeating lots of Darkmess enemies, but they also even met a light-blue Spark with a blue, fiery aura surrounding it named Ethering. He has the power to make anyone invisible, which sounds cool for them. Eventually, they made it up to the top of the mountain where the Darkmess Tentacle is. Jeanie comes in view and analyzes it.

"That Darkmess Tentacle in the mouth of the mask is the wellspring of this supernatural storm. If the Tentacle is not eradicated now, this planet will become encased in a frozen sarcophagus, forever. Fortunately, while battles such as these have increased in difficulty, so has our affinity with the Sparks. From this point onward, each of you equip a second Spark before engaging in combat. Choose wisely."

With that, they head into the tentacle to another dimension as they found themselves in the cold place with cold, snowy mountains having a face of the Rabbids as their eyes and mouth glows blue. Just then, a yellow spark with electrical powers around him comes over.

"Er... No pressure, but if you win this battle, I get to leave this horrible place with you. Otherwise, I'm stuck!"

"No worries. What do we have to be careful with? From all encounters with the Spark, there's always a warning." Rabbid Y/N.

"Your name, little fella?" Rabbid Luigi asked.

"Electroid is the name! Watch for gusts of wind from those stone masks! Time your movements so you don't get blown away. Lucky for you, they CAN be destroyed! Now get out there - on three! Ready... BREAK!"

Their goal is now to destroy the stone mask. Y/N glances over to see 11 Bob-ombs, 4 Flamin' Stooges, and 5 Lone Wolves. They need to act while avoiding the huge gust of wind. Y/N equips two of the Sparks that will be helpful against those enemies. She picks Ethering and Cryobolide. As for the other two that will help are Edge and Rabbid Y/N. Edge equips Toxiquake and Pyrostar while Rabbid Y/N equips Reflector and Aquanox. Y/N gestures the rest of the group to cover them up for any Darkmess Portals before she team jumps with Rabbid Y/N, dash through the Bob-omb, and throw it at the wall. After take cover behind a rock and shoot the Flamin' Stooge with her dark saber. Rabbid Y/N help finish off the Stooge with her pistol. Edge then destroys the first mask with the Bob-omb.

Edge then dashes through one of the Bob-ombs, and throw it at the Flamin' Stooge. She then takes cover and throw her blade at it to finish it off. Then with Rabbid Y/N, take cover behind the rocks and shoot the Lone Wolf, using Aquanox on her weapon. With Y/N, she dashes through the last Bob-omb, then throw it. Then finish off the Lone Wolf, Rabbid Y/N attacked. Suddenly, a portal opens up to the left of the mask. Edge dash through another Bob-omb and throw it at the closest one to them. After cover behind the rock, she attacks the Flamin' Stooge to their left with her Toxiquake to poison it. Switch to Rabbid Y/N, she takes cover behind the rock next to Edge, and finish off the Flamin' Stooge she just attacked. Back to Y/N as she gets as close as possible to the Lone Wolf and attack it. Just as the rest of the heroes goes to destroy the portal when a Bob-omb spawn in. Then another portal will open up to the right of the mask. Mario dash through the Bob-omb and throw it at the portal with the Lone Wolf next to it. After he throw the bomb, he destroys it with his two guns. They managed to destroy the other mask before using the tube to get on the upper ground, and with Rabbid Y/N as she attacks the Lone Wolf on the higher level.

Lastly, with Edge, she destroys the other Bob-omb. The Flamin' Stooge move around and throws fire at Rabbid Y/N. But thanks to Reflector, it bounces back to the Flamin' Stooge as he screams and runs around with his butt on fire. She then pushes him to the edge using Aquanox as it disappears. Another portal appears on the left side of the final mask they need to finish and then a Bob-omb spawn out of it. Y/N dash through the Bob-ombs near her to clear the rest out. There probably won't be any enemies nearby after that attack, but they try to head towards the mask.

At the end of the enemy's turn, another portal appears on the left side of the mask. Rabbid Y/N Team Jump to get as close as possible to the Lone Wolves and attack one. Edge helps her as she activates a flame spark on her blade before throwing it towards them, burning their butt off. Y/N then Team Jump next, dash through a Bob-omb, and throw it at a nearby enemy. More Bob-ombs spawn out of the portal after the group destroyed it. The Bob-omb goes next to the Lone Wolf. Y/N throws the Bob-omb with her dark saber, and it explodes next to the Lone Wolf as they both disappear. Rabbid Y/n then move up closer and begin to shoot the cover being used by the Lone Wolf. Y/N turns invisible with Ethering as she goes up to the final mask with Edge by her side as they avoid the harsh gust of wind while Rabbid Y/N deals with more enemies with the help of her friends. Together, Y/N and Edge throw their weapons at the final mask with their Sparks as it explodes into pieces. Once it's destroyed, they have completed the mission. With that mission finished, Rabbid Y/N did her victory anime dance before catching the third Purified Darkmess Energy Crystal.

After defeating the stone masks, everyone walked out of the mouth of the cave mask to see the weather changing as clouds started to move away and the cold blizzard turns to a cool breeze that no longer made everyone shiver and not being able to move. Ice and snow started melting off from the cliffside, boats, houses, lake, waterfall, and the path that was blocked earlier that lead into an opening. As ice continues to melt, Mario and Beep-0 heard shuffling noises and turned to see Peach, Luigi, and Rabbid Luigi finishing up the Rabbid-Snowman with a scarf. a stocking on the ear, and a carrot for the nose. They smile at their accomplishment. Mario and Beep-0 then noticed Y/N and Rabbid Y/N making a snowman that looks different. Y/N starts playing around with the stick of the hands as she imitates it.

"Hi, I'm Olaf! And I like warm hugs."

This made everyone chuckle and smile as Rabbid Y/N gives Olaf a hug. Rabbid Luigi then noticed something next to them and they turned to see a snow that appeared bigger than their own snowman as the snow was sculptured and its arms and legs are muscular. On top of that bodybuilt snowman was the head of Rabbid Mario as he had his head turned with a triumphant hum. But all he recieved was a disapproving shake on the head by Rabbid Peach while Edge giving an eye roll with a scoff, much to Rabbid Mario's shock and dismay. This reaction made Mario and Y/N laugh. Rabbid Y/N giggled and gave Rabbid Mario a pat on the back of his snowman.

"Keep trying."

"Ugh..." he sighed.

"Excellent work, everyone! It's still cold, but it's a GOOD cold, like if your grandpa was a snowman and gave you a hug." Beep-0 said cheerfully.

Jeanie appeared and floated a little ahead of them to a path where the ice was originally blocked and detected a place up ahead.

"Beep-0, now that the storm is passed, I am able to detect an unusual energy pattern, over at that palace."

"Probably another Darkmess Tentacle. We should investigate - it may be the Warden of this place is not far from there. There's a path that will take us straight down the mountain. We can use it to reach the palace Jeanie spoke of. Also, the ice melt has made some areas on this side of the mountain newly accessible, we should explore. Anyhow, with the storm over, we can rest assured that the worst has past." Beep-0 said confidently.

"Beep-0, my friend... The real storm's just begun." Edge said quietly, which went unnoticed by Y/N and Rabbid Y/N.

"I'm afraid we shouldn't let our guard down just yet, Beep-0. We should at least be aware of our surroundings." Y/N said.

"Oh, I'm sure we'll be alright." Beep-0 assured her.

"Just... be cautious." Rabbid Y/N reminded.

"Alright..."

Edge was surprised that they did that and said nothing. The heroes then started heading towards the Winter Palace. As they explore, Y/N wonders how Bowser is doing right now.

Little did she know, Bowser was traveling around as he was searching when he heard a vibration from his phone. He pulled out and turned it on to see he had gotten a text from Y/N as it says about how worried she is for him and wondered where he is.

"Little Butterfly..."

Before Bowser could reply back to her, he heard something and immediately went on guard. He searched around for anyone that dare try to sneak up on him while growling. Just then, something crashed into him hard enough for him to drop his phone to the ground, causing the screen to go black with a crack mark on it. Bowser's roars could be heard as he fights back for whoever attacked him.
