"Peach!" Daisy yelled, annoyed. It was barely 6 a.m.

Peach slowly sat up in bed and rubbed her eyes.

"Daisy, what's wrong with you?" she questioned once she became completely awake. "It's so early in the morning and it's as if you're trying to make me go deaf!"

"The question should be, what's wrong with YOU?!" Daisy fumed. "That announcement you made recently about losing points and hiding the rankings is just so... Ugh!"

"You agreed to join the Mario Party, so you have to deal with everything that comes with it," Peach stated, leaving the room to prepare breakfast for everyone. "And besides, haven't you heard that Mario Party games often ruin relationships?"

Peach's last sentence made Daisy go silent.

"Chill, Daisy. I'm just kidding," Peach chuckled. "I won't let any good relationships end this time- only bad ones."

*a few hours later*

"I'm a little nervous about the next minigames," Pauline admitted. The entire group was casually hanging out in the living room. The TV was turned on, but no one was paying attention to it.

"Oh come on, you all should have seen it coming," Peach said. "Bad things always happen towards the end of a Mario Party."

"This is my first Mario Party," Pauline defended herself.

"Well, that makes sense then," Peach murmured.

"Umm, Peach?" Yoshi spoke. "Why did you turn on the TV? You're just wasting electricity."

"You'll see," Peach then glanced at the TV, and her eyes lit up. "Oh! Everyone, be quiet!"

Luckily, the people in the room complied with Peach's request. All heads were turned to the TV, which was on the international news channel.

"And now," a news reporter toad said. "I shall announce Minigame 16 of Mario Party 9.5, an ongoing competition hosted by Her Royal Highness, Princess Peach."

"Are you serious?" Luigi whispered to Peach. "You got the news channel to broadcast the next minigame?"

"Yes, now be quiet," Peach replied.

Millions of people were now listening to the Minigame 16 announcement.
