Previously in Mario and Sonic's Pokemon Adventure

After Groudon and kyogre were awaken,they had a vicious fight which resulted in the destruction of the city, Luckily Sonic went to see professor Willow to ask him how to calm them down, after getting the info he then goes to see his best friend Tails to help look for Rayquaza. After spending a long time finding it ,they were about to give their hopes up until they learned that Beerus owned Rayquaza. After explaining everything to him. The god of destruction followed Sonic and Tails to the location of the legendary pokemon battle and Rayquaza came to send them back to where they belong thus ending the crisis. What new thing awaits Mario and Sonic?,read this part to find out.

2 weeks later

Sonic,Mario and Luigi have trained their pokemon very hard. Now they're very strong. Sonic's Greninja due to Sonic's special speed training helped Greninja increase its speed. Now it can run really fast. Sonic,Mario and luigi defeated the last gym leader expert in using psychic type pokemon. They therfore got the gym badge and were qualified to to enter the "pokemon league". Sonic's Pokemon were strong enough and were able to defeat 3 pokemon trainers in a row which were members of the elite four. Sonic then went to deal with Lance,the dragon master and 4th member of the elite four. Sonic's Greninja defeated Lance's "dragonite" with water shuriken. During that time ,Sonic was taught by the professor to do a "spirit fusion", a technique in which the trainer and the pokemon's soul combine as one. He used that technique for the first time to defeat Lance's dragonite.

3 days later later Mario, Sonic, Luigi and the others were invited to an international pokemon tournament. It was located on a huge island. After making the necessary preparations they went to the island by plane.

At the island.......

"Wow!!",Mario said surprised as he hopped out of the plane."That's a pretty huge stadium."

"Mabye more than 2,000 spectators will be watching",Sonic said.

"Hello, you must be the contestants coming to participate in the international pokemon tournament.", the host said to welcome them.

"Yup we are",Sonic answered.

Another plane comes to land and Sonic and the others watched as Goku,Vegeta,Shadow and Silver comes out.

"You guys came too?",Sonic asked surprised.

A figure comes out of the plane and Sonic saw it was Emerl the gizoid

Note:(for those who don't know who Emerl is). Emerl is an ancient combat robot from the game "Sonic battle" with the ability to perfectly copy moves either by observation or by being attacked. He's friends with Sonic and co. Sonic was originally his master.

"Hey Sonic!!",Emerl said happy to see Sonic.

"Emerl too?,this tournament is gonna be sweet",Sonic thought. "Hey Emerl ,Sonic said also happy as well to see Emerl, the two then do their signature handshake which involves them holding both hands and spinning like a tornado followed by a thumbs up.

"Glad to see you here",Emerl said.

"Me too ",Sonic replied. This tournament is gonna be great. I can't wait to see how some trainers are here. Mabye I might find someone who'll be a challenge for me.

"I know how you're excited about the tournament but we have to be prepared and do our best.",Mario said.

"Sorry to interupt but since you guys are here allow me to show you around the place before we start and wait for some of the trainers to come, follow me please."The host said.

Everyone follows the host as he shows them around the place.

But meanwhile.........................around some bushes two figures where "snoopingas as usual" to figure out a plan to ruin the tournament.

"So this is the stadium where the tournament will be held."Bowser said.

"Yes, I heard the prize for the winner is an extremely huge amount of money."Dr.Eggman said.

"How much?"

"It's just a 3 billion dollar bill"

"3 billion dollars??!!!!!", that kind of money can make my castle bigger. So what are you planning to do?"

"I usually don't do this but I'm going to steal the money.",Dr.Eggman said.

"What?!!",The koopa king said furiously.

"Don't worry, we'll share".Eggman said in order not to inflame his anger.

"Good"

"But there's a small problem",Eggman said. "I tried hacking into the tournament's manager's computer to look for the location of the money which is in a safe ands it's password but it's highly protected. I can still hack into it but it'll take some time.",Eggman explained.

"Ok just take your time, we're not in a rush anyway."Bowser said. "This is going to be good.

The two villains then end it with an evil laugh.

At the tournament lobby.........

"Now I've shown you the while place, since your done with the registration why don't you take a look at the battle board.", the host said.

Everyone then takes a look at rhe battle board to see who is is up against who.

"So that's the battle board, looks like I'll be facing you Tails."Sonic said.

"But wait who is that guy Emerl is coming to face?",Mario asked.

"That's Red",The host answered." He's the pokemon league champion from the kanto region. I heard he won in last year's pokemon tournament. His Charizard is really powerful. Ok may I inform you about the rules. You can only use 6 pokemon in battle, you can't heal them either unless they have a status problem. You got it?

"Yes we get it", everyone except Shadow and Vegeta said.

"Oh...it's 2:00pm it's time to start the tournament. Get ready .

So everyone got ready for the tournament.

At the tournament battlefield........

"Ladies and gentlemen, we are about to start this year, the "2017 pokemon tournament", the tournament's announcer said. "But before we start , a special guest is here to witness the occasion. It's the world champion,Ash Ketchum!!!

Ash walks into the field and waves his hand towards the spectators as they roar with joy, cheering and jubilation. Ash then leaves .

"Ok , now you've seen the world champion, let's get started the 1st round of the tournament. Our 1st trainer is famous in some parts of the world, he's also the world's fastest hedgehog. It's Sonic the hedgehog!!

The spectators cheer as Sonic walks into the field.

"And another trainer, a two tailed intelligent fox,Tails!!. Tails then enters the field."Ok it's time to start the battle,may the best trainer win.
