4 months later.

A lot had happened since I have got back to the Kingdom. Firstly Kailian's funeral along with the other mermen and mermaids who had lost their lives for us. We had a long service celebrating their lives and decorating their places of rest. Mer people do things different under the sea and funerals were not all sad. Families and friends brought things they loved and to remind them of the people they lost and decorated their graves leaving offerings for their Gods.

My baby bump is very noticeable now and Caspian is obsessed with it and our little daughter inside. We went for a scan and found out the gender after I got back just to check she was okay with me being so stressed and all. I just wanted to make sure I didn't hurt her. Tamesis had gone mad with making all the clothes for her, stitching on tiaras and crowns on her little baby grows. Caspian and I had been thinking of names these last few months as well as collecting things for when she arrives.

Caspian was going to become King soon! Seaton and Coralia had decided he was old enough and could rule well with me at his side as Queen too. I didn't mind the title as much as I probably should have though.

"She's very healthy; she'll be a big baby." Dune told us smiling.

I looked at the image the ultrasound was displaying and saw her move. Just 5 more months until we could hold her.

"Thanks Dune. How's Mizuko?"

"Oh he's fine." Dune said blushing and playing with a strand of his long hair, a smile on his lips.

"You'd make a lovely mother if you and Mizuko had a baby, Dune." I smiled.

"I-I don't know we haven't talked about it really." Dune said shuffling some papers around.

"Leave him be Kitten," Caspian chuckled. "I'm sure Dune and Mizuko will talk about that when they're ready."

"I'm just saying." I grumbled.

"Here are your photos from the scan." Dune handed over the black and white fuzzy images of our baby. I had been making a scrap book and every time I went for a check-up (which was often as Caspian worried) I would add another photo and note any progress.

Caspian helped me sit up and wiped the gel of my stomach. We thanked Dune again and walked back to our room, well I more like waddled.

"Good thanks; Caspian is even more protective now." I groaned, lowering myself down onto the sofa as Bennett sat on the one opposite.

"So is Leo. I can't believe we're both pregnant! It seems so long ago that we were at collage- in our old house." Bennett sighed putting a hand on his baby bump.

"I haven't spoken to my family in months." I said wondering what they might be doing. The last thing I told them was that I was travelling with my boyfriend. Not entirely a lie.

"Neither, not that they would really care. I'm happy here now, with Leo and you and Caspian with our babies on that way and all the stuff we have to buy and get for them. I feel that it's nice to see them every once in a while but they're not who I would pick to stay around. Already went through that growing up. I have to do what's best for me now; I have a baby on the way." Bennett smiled back to his usual happy self.

Bennett found out he was pregnant three months ago. He screamed in happiness then cried running away from Leo and to me saying he wasn't going to be a good mother catching Caspian and me in a rather compromising position when he burst through the door. Bennett didn't care he just hurled himself on the bed clutching me as Leo ran in looking worried. We calmed him down and Leo explained what happened telling us he was very happy and thankful to have Bennett.

Another thing concerning Bennett is that when we first came to the Kingdom we had nothing from home and that include Bennett's antidepressants. We all kind of forgot about them as Bennett was doing so well and he was happy like usual. However after escaping the Zambezis he had to visit Dune with Leo and tell him what he used to be taking. Some of the warriors from our Kingdom went to our house and got them and brought them back for Dune so he could test them and replace all the products that make up the pills for other ingredients that can be made under the sea.

He doesn't take them every day but Dune gave him an injection and that did something to help him. Other than that I don't know much else. Bennett being happy is the main thing though and nothing will harm his baby.

During the hours we were together Bennett showed me his collection of baby clothes, toys, furniture, books and magazines that were all stored in the spare room Leo and Bennett had. They didn't know the gender yet but I think Bennett wants to wait and have a surprise.

"Oh my god you have those mints!" I gushed running over to the counter top and grabbing the packet. It was something I have been craving recently- along with burnt toast and ice cold water.

"I've been craving really sweet things recently. Like that popcorn Leo has had to buy in boxes from land, it's so sugary and really bad for me but its soooo nice, Jonah. I really want some now thinking about it." Bennett said walking over to the spare room where all the baby stuff is along with boxes of Bennett's popcorn.

I waddled over to the toaster we made Caspian and Leo buy and put in some bread, turned it to the highest setting and waited for it to pop up before pushing it down again making it really burnt. I made two slices and coated it in this stuff that tasted mostly like butter and sat next to Bennett who was enjoying the big bag of popcorn.

"Want some?" Bennett offered.

"No thanks, I've got my toast." I said taking a bite and hearing the satisfying crunch.

Our men walked in a little while later and also after I had managed to much my way through half a loaf of handmade bread and Bennett three packets of popcorn. Not good.

"Jonah, you get bigger every time I see you." Leo smirked walking over to Bennett and taking the popcorn out of his hands.

"Leo! That's not nice, don't say that." I cried throwing a toast crust at him. "Casp please help me get up." I pouted reaching out for him.

"Leo's just simply saying how beautiful you look. And complementing you as the baby looks like it's growing a developing well." Caspian said trying to soothe me.

"Yeah right." I grumbled. "Bye Bennett, see you soon."

"Bye Jonah, bye Caspian." He said standing up to hug me.

We walked back to our room and Caspian ran us a bath whilst I got changed.

"Put that bath milk stuff in!" I called to Caspian as I took off my clothes. I wore jogging bottoms (as they were the only things comfy enough and the only ones that would stretch without getting uncomfortable) and a big jumper. I wrapped my silky dressing grown around me and walked into the bathroom hugging Caspian from behind.

"Can I get in?" I asked looking at the water that was a light blue colour.

"Sure Kitten." Caspian said reaching around my front and undoing the material letting it drop off my shoulders. He helped me get in and moved me so I was in-between his legs.
