Bennett's POV

Everything was hazy and muffled. I couldn't see nor move but something was reaching for me. It felt like I was stuck in a dream somehow, not being able to move or think properly, but for some reason I was awake wherever I was and that had to mean something. Now I'm waiting for something, drifting along and waiting. I felt like I was close to something but it was just out of reach so I started concentrating on my senses. I willed myself to listen and try and pick up anything I could. Voices or movements, just something. Then I tried moving. Working out how to move my limbs was a struggle but eventually I broke down the barrier stopping me and it felt like I was back in my body, and not drifting slowly around.

After a while I managed to move my hand but what seemed like a huge move was only realistically a twitch in one of my fingers. But it was progress. I kept trying and trying, pursuing my determination to find what I was waiting for. It was like I knew something was there but what it was wasn't clear.

Something switched on in my brain and I moved my fingers and then my wrist. I repeated it over and over again feeling the muscles work and loosen up. My other senses started waking up to allowing me to consciously breathe again.

I continued to move my hand around until the strangest feeling swarmed me. Something else touched my hand sending sparks shooting across my skin and waking my brain up completely.

"Bennett?" A shaky voice called out.

It sounded so familiar and it made me so happy for some reason. I knew this person but I couldn't place them yet. I felt my face move and my lips curved my into a smile for this voice I was hearing.

"Bennett, w-wake up, I'm h-here." They pleaded again changing tones.

Something touched my cheek and the sparks ignited again trailing a path down my face, across my lips, down my arms until both my hands were held in two large warm ones.

"Come back to me baby please, I'm here. I know you can do it. I miss you so much."

My eyes opened automatically with my vision hazy and brain foggy I saw my Leo right in front of me. Everything clicked back in place just like it should do. I had my grumpy, possessive, heart-warming merman next to me and all I had to do was look into his beautiful violet eyes and know exactly what he was feeling.

We probably didn't say anything for minutes. We just looked at each other and Leo ran his hands over my body massaging the life back into it. He kissed my lips and I felt a tear fall onto my chest.

"You came back," he croaked. "I thought...I thought you'd never wake up baby."

I smiled at him bring my hand up and brushing it through his hair. "I l-love you." I managed to get out, my throat dry from not speaking for however long I had been asleep.

"I love you too, more than you know." He admitted kissing my slightly chapped lips again.

Spoiling the moment of love between us, a young man that could easily be mistaken for a beautiful girl ran in, followed by another equally as beautiful man both wearing white doctors coats.

"Prince Bennett, y-you're awake." The first one gasped running over and shuffling things about next to me.

I took this time to observe the funny room I was in. Looking at all shells stuck in the walls and feeling the soft green blanket that looked very much like seaweed I was lying on. Steam arose around me from the weird rock pool I was lying in. The hot water heated the seaweed bed I was lying on and warming up my back nicely. Leo still had hold of my hands and led down next to me trailing his lips up and down my neck ever so lightly. He pulled the blanket further around us tucking it into my sides.

His touch sent sparks across my skin heating up my already hot body as well as ghosting his fingertips over my bare chest and making goosebumps arise and my nipples harden. Leo knew exactly what he was doing when his leg moved in-between mine and he shuffled impossibly closer, nipping at the sensitive skin on my neck. I heard the man with long, pretty hair mumbled something before darting out of the room through and kelp curtain leaving me alone with a horny merman.

"I missed you so much." Leo mumbled now hovering over me. "I can't believe I can see those beautiful green eyes again."

I smiled softly twirling strands of his black hair around me finger.

"What happened?" I finally ask watching his face fall as he collapsed beside me again. He pulled me closer to him and tucked my head under his chin before small rumbles and soothing vibrations surrounded me. He sang like he had once before but this melody was a lot sadder.

"I couldn't protect you." He whispered. "When you needed me most I couldn't help you." He paused, taking this time to nuzzle my neck like a cat would. "I just remember seeing your eyes so pain filled and your heart didn't sound right. I've never been so scared in that moment, I kept thinking as you closed your eyes you would be dead, right there in my arms and I would have failed to protect my mate, the thing I love most."

"I'm alive Leo, I'm still breathing. You must have done something right otherwise I wouldn't be speaking now." Leo shock his head squeezing his eyes closed. "Please Leo, I hate seeing you like this, I'm okay." I assured him.

"It was Jonah who saved you. He saved all of us, but all I could do was hold you in my arms as the water around us turned murky from your blood." Leo's hands were balled up into fists and his eyes a blazing orange.

"What happened?" I asked again running my fingers through his hair.

"We were attacked and you got hurt badly. Jonah used his powers to stop the attack but the damage had already been done. Watching you dying in my arms is something I never want to see again."

"Wait... Jonah has powers?" I laughed "What?"

"Oh, you don't know yet. I'll let him tell you the details. A lot has happened to Jonah recently, I'm sure he'll catch you up on everything though." Leo finally smiled purring into my neck tickling me.

"Leo," I giggled, "s-stop!" I laughed wiggling about.

I felt so good to stretch out a little, my body felt normal again, back to myself. Even though I was extremely tired after being asleep for I don't know how long, I wanted to stay awake talking to Leo. Hearing his comforting voice and soothing touches made me so happy I just needed to stay awake.

"Go to sleep baby, I'm staying right here." He told me pressing kisses across my chest.

"Don't wanna." I pouted blinking my eyes open.

"You're exhausted baby. You did so well staying awake and talking but let your body rest now." I snuggled into Leo and his large body shielded me from the world.

"Don't leave." I told him.

"Never baby, sleep now, I love you." I didn't catch his last sentence as I was already out cold and dreaming.

Jonah's POV

I sat bolt upright feeling alarmed at all the footsteps slamming onto the hard floor a little way in front of me. It was dark around me and I couldn't see much. A wave of nausea hit me suddenly and I struggled to get up from the mound of soft blankets I was wrapped in. My feet hit the floor and I couldn't hold it in any longer, I threw up on the floor. I bit my lip and cried into my hands. Where is Caspian? He should be here; I don't know where I am.

"Jonah?!" I heard a door open and light flooded into the room. "Aww Jojo, it's okay."

I looked up to see a blurred Caspian just as he lifted me off the floor and walked to the corner of the room. I closed my eyes and whimpered like a hurt puppy embarrassed for Caspian to have seen that.

"Don't cry Kitten, you're alright." Another door opened and a soft glow illuminated the smaller room we were in. In the middle was what looked like enlarged rock pool that was raised off the floor. Caspian walked over to it and sat me on the edge. I could feel the warmth from the water hitting my back and I turned around to dip my fingers in.

"Here Kitten," Caspian said handing me what looked like a toothbrush with green toothpaste on. "I know it looks a bit different but it does the same job." He assured me.

The toothbrush was wooden and had white bristles. It was heavier than my one at home but I put it in my mouth anyway and brushed my teeth like I normally would. In Caspian's bathroom he had the normal stuff like a toilet and sink; however they just looked a lot nicer here. The green toothpaste was very minty and thankfully rid the taste of sick from my mouth. I put my hands on my stomach and smiled remembering our baby.

After sleeping on the news I felt better about it. The worry and hesitation had vanished and now I couldn't be happier to be carrying a child. I thought about my family back on land and if I would ever tell them who Caspian really was. I missed them and I really wanted to tell my mum, dad and brother I was pregnant but I'll leave it until we have the house on land. My mum really wanted to meet Caspian and I promised her as soon as I was back from 'traveling' with him, she could.

"How are you feeling?" Caspian asked me pressing his chest into my back and placing his hands on my stomach. He rubbed small circles and kissed my cheek.

"Better thanks, and I'm really happy to be having a baby." I told him truthfully.

Caspian purred like a content kitten as he carried me back to the pool of water. He stripped off my silky underwear and gently lifted my in. I straddled Caspian's lap and leaned into him as he cupped some of the warm water in his hands and used it to tip over my back and hair. He washed me slowly taking time to massage the soap in that came from shells and plants. I asked him about each one when he would open up a shell to scoop out the stuff he would use on my hair or the moisturising body wash and even some weird liquid that looked like milk. Caspian enjoyed seeing me squirm and giggle when he used the gels and creams on my skin and lathered up my hair and styled it into crazy looks.

"You're so beautiful Jojo." Caspian told me.

I blushed and looked down. "Thank you, so are you though." I said kissing his lips.

"How do you get water this here?" I asked.

"It's sea water that is cleaned then heated and stored in the pool. Every time it's used it cleans itself so you can use it whenever."

"Wow, I wish everything on land looked as nice as I does down here."

"Well you are part of this world now Kitten."

"Suppose I am." I smiled.

Caspian helped me out of the bath and I stood on the spongy matt as Caspian grabbed the towels. He dried me and then himself and also showed me to the wardrobe full of beautiful outfits Tamesis had been busy making. I slipped on some tight fitting briefs that made Caspian felt the need to smack my ass and a white soft shirt that I rolled up the sleeves, and then lastly, another pair of shorts but these were a sky blue like the ones Caspian wore yesterday. Nobody seemed to wear socks or shoes around here so I didn't bother either.

"You look amazing Kitten!" Caspian said. "Just one last finishing touch..."

I watched as Caspian reached into his side of the wardrobe and walked towards me holding a beautiful silver necklace that had a crescent moon shaped exactly like my mating mark on my neck. It shimmered in the light like the mark on my neck too. Caspian put it on for me and nodded in approval.

"Thank you!" I gasped. "I love it." I told him running to the mirror at the end of the wardrobe to get a closer look of it on.

Just then someone started banging on the door really loudly.

"Who's that?" I asked.

"I don't know, stay here." Caspian told me walking towards the gold door and opening it.

"Caspian, Bennett has woken up!" I heard Coralia exclaimed.

"HE HAS?!" I screamed already pushing past Caspian and running down the long corridors.

"Kitten, wait!" I didn't though; I kept running in the direction of Bennett.

Caspian and his mother caught up with me quickly and I pushed open the doors enclosing Bennett in the room and my face hurt from how hard I smiled.

"Jonah!"

"Bennett! Oh my gosh you're awake!" I cried rushing over to the rock pool Bennett was lying in. I reached over the water and hugged him tightly feeling all the anxiety that has been keeping me on edge drain away.

"I'm so happy you're awake I have so much to tell you!" I gushed wiping away the tears of happiness.

"I can't wait, seems like I've missed a lot. You look amazing by the way where did you get those shorts?"

"Tamesis," I giggled. "He makes the clothes but he'll probably make you twice as many as me."

"I hope so." He beamed. "They look so good on you."

After the King and Queen visited Bennett and we told him about what happened with the eel creatures and my powers, everyone but Caspian and Leo left to give Bennett some space. Leo looked on cloud 9, his eyes were a bright purple and he always had a hold of Bennett who was tucked into his side. I've never seen them both so happy with each other.

The final thing I told Bennett was about me being pregnant, and after explaining everything to him he burst into tears and told me over and over again how happy he was for me and that he wanted one to look after, and that had Leo shocked, but you could see pride in his eyes nonetheless.

After hours of talking with each other Leo moved Bennett to his room after an okay from Dune. We said goodbye and Caspian and I went for dinner but Leo and Bennett ate in their room. I couldn't have been happier as I skipped down the hallways to the dining room.

Bennett's POV

"Do you really want a baby then?" Leo's question made me choke on my food I was happily enjoying.

"Yes!" I nodded eagerly. "It would be so cute to look after and raise a child."

"And you wouldn't mind everything to come before we had one?" He asked.

"Like what? Getting fat and eating lots and then...being cut open." I shivered at that though but women did it and they were fine after so I would be too, right?

"Not just that, I'd have to mark you and for that to happen we would seal our bond by making love." I blushed and nervously laughed not knowing what to say.

It wasn't the fact of being disloyal to Eric anymore because I will always love him and I know he will love me too. I had gotten over that part and I believe Eric would want me to be in love with Leo. I will never replace him but I'm just nervous as I'm not much and Leo is a Prince with the body of a God and let's just say he was, um big. I know what I want though and that is him.

"Yeah, I know." I replied sheepishly.

"You'd look so beautiful all swollen with our babies." Leo ran his hands over my tummy and thighs. "Hopefully we would have a few together. I'd like a big family."

"So would I," I said snuggling into Leo's chest. "I would love it."
