"Caspian!" I gasped grinding against him harder. "We're going to get caught."

"Don't care." Caspian mumbled childishly and went back to attacking my neck with kisses and bites. It felt so good and I desperately wanted to give in to him but not now and definitely not in here, the ball room! Caspian assured me no one would come in but I'd rather not take that chance.

"We need to stop, didn't umm, Roan tell us your parents the King and Queen wanted to see us?"

Caspian stopped trying to get into my pants and listed to reason for once. However his hard on was distracting me now.

"Can you, like change back into a Merman now otherwise I might actually give into you." I chuckled.

"I don't see a need Kitten." He purred. "I want nothing more than to be sinking into your tight ass right now."

Suddenly a very loud horn sounded throughout the palace vibrating against the walls and making my ear drums ring.

"Drain the palace!" Someone shouted before the water level started decreasing getting pushed out through holes that had opened up in the walls.

"What's going on?!" I asked alarmed.

"They're draining the palace. My mother probably thought it might make you feel more comfortable."

"Really? So everyone will be walking on the floor, with legs?"

"Yes!" Caspian laughed finally releasing me from the wall.

The last of the water drained away and I was left dry. My hair was dry, my clothes were dry and so was my body.

"Come on, that's a sign to hurry up." Caspian said walking stark naked to the huge doors of the ball room. "I'm sure Tamesis will have something made for me by now so we can make our way to the throne room."

"I'm really nervous." I whispered holding tightly onto Caspian's hand.

"You're my mate, and from land, so they will find you interesting either way." Caspian nodded confidently.

"And what if they don't?"

"We move out to a house on land but still near to the Kingdom. Private island preferably."

"Well I'm glad you've got a plan."

We walked hand in hand along the floor for a change as I took in the amazing detail and work gone into creating this beautiful palace. Just one simple door handle must have taken hours from the sheer tone and blend of paint and not to mention the layering of material allowing the perfect grip for everyone's hands. All the water hand gone now and it felt no different to breathe out of water than in with the underwater potion in my system.

Tamesis came running around the corner shouting for us a minute later and he was holding another pair of shorts, a light blue colour with threads of gold resembling Caspian's eyes. He slipped them on quickly and they complimented him very well to say the least.

His perfect ass and good sized bulge filled them out perfectly and his muscular, tan thighs looked amazing next to that light blue colour. I got caught up in my thoughts and came back to reality when I heard Caspian laughing softly.

"You're too cute Kitten." He smiled whilst leading me onwards throughout the never ending hallways.

Different men and women or mermen and mermaids passed us and bowed before walking off to finish their task. I said hello to each one and they all seemed to be buzzing with excitement which I found quite strange as I wasn't used to this much attention.

"It's just ahead Kitten, don't be scared I'm right here for you." I nodded weakly my head spinning with worries as I tried to stick closer and closer to Caspian.

We turned the corner and two solid gold doors like the ones to enter the palace stood before us. A beautiful engraving of a merman and a mermaid holding hands one on each door. They both wore crowns that were decorated with jewels and two tridents were crossed over them stopping unwanted visitors from entering. Two guards holding swords and dressed like the ones at the entrance bowed before opening the doors for us.

The room was massive! High ceilings with the biggest chandelier I have ever seen illuminating the room in a golden glow. Two thrones were placed at the end of the room where Caspian's parents sat both in human form. The queen was wearing a long white dress with pearl embellishments that complemented her long, raven black hair and fair skin. The King had shorts on like Caspian and I but his were a royal blue colour and had tiny pearls on them to match with his wife. He too had black hair that was almost blue. They were both stunning and looked enchanting next to each other like that.

"Welcome Jonah, my name is Seaton and this is my wife Coralia." His deep voice rumbled around the large room as they both stood and walked towards us. "Welcome to the family!" They smiled and pulled me into a hug.

"H-Hello." I said shyly, never being good at making conversation with people I've only just met.

"You have a good soul." The Queen Coralia said placing her hand on my chest.

"Mum, don't scare him off," Caspian chuckled hugging his mum and then his dad. "It's so nice to be home now I have Jojo here."

"Jonah, such an unusual name, it suits you well." Coralia said looking at me with her kind, deep blue eyes. They were almost the colour of Caspian's when he was sad but hers were full of happiness and life.

"Thank you, yours would be considered unusual where I come from." I said shyly.

"I can see why you make my son so happy, I'm glad he is mated to someone like you. My husband and I have been waiting for a long time to meet his mate." She said. "Come, we will talk more over dinner. You two must be starving."

I was shown around the dining hall with tables big enough for hundreds. All types of food were placed out and Seaton told me the chefs made sure there would be something I'd like as it's not every day a human visits. I told them about the human world and how Caspian and I met which got a stern look from Coralia when I told her how Caspian managed to knock me out.

Leomaris had decided not to join us and waited by Bennett's side for him to wake up. He was getting better and Dune said most of the toxins had drained from his body. I couldn't wait for him to wake up, he had missed so much but I will fill him in when he wakes up. We hadn't gone this long without talking for years, he had become like a brother to me as well as a best friend.

"Jonah, may I talk to you alone?" Coraila asked me when we were all finished and Caspian and his dad were in deep conversation about him becoming King. Not something I wanted to disturb.

"Sure." I nodded.

We walked into another room that separated from the dining room and sat down on a royal blue sofa.

"I need to tell you something and please let me explain before you react."

"Okay..." I said feeling a bit uneasy.

"Don't be frightened but I feel you should know now. You're pregnant Jonah and it is possible for you, especially with a royal as your mate. Our Gods have blessed you with a child and that is important. It means something for our future. The Kingdom will support you. It's not uncommon for men to become pregnant in are world. There have been cases when humans were mated to mermen and have become pregnant. Only now it seems like the right time, for you."

"What?" I laughed nervously. "I can't...I'm male." I said slowly.

"It can happen when a merman mates with a human male. Caspian hasn't told you because he didn't want to scare you away. I can read it on him, he's worrying for you."

"Caspian knew?! He didn't tell me?" I asked raising my voice.

I have a living thing inside of me. I'm going to put on weight and my stomach is going to get bigger and my hormones will be everywhere. HOW WILL I GIVE BIRTH?

"How will I... give birth?" I asked shaking slightly.

"The doctors will perform a C-section to get the baby out."

"Oh my God," Tears pricked my eyes and I leant forward with my face in my hands. "Why is this happening to me?" I cried.

"There's a reason for it Jonah don't be scared. Caspian will be with you always, I have no doubts in that. You've created this life together and it should be treasured and protected. This child will be your future and the Kingdom's future."Coralia said softly.

"Caspian's on his way to find you he can sense you're upset. Be open with him Jonah I know you will, you two will make great rulers side by side." The Queen squeezed my hand comfortingly and left a bracelet of shells and pearls in my palm before walking back into the dining room.

I heard the door open a minute later and Caspian ran in with a worried look on his face.

"Jonah, it's okay I'm here." He told me scoping me up and settling me on his lap.

I took a deep breath pushing away the exhaustion threatening to consume me and make me fall asleep before sitting back and looking at Caspian.

"I'm pregnant."

"You are?" Caspian said his eyes lighting up and a big smile spread across his face.

"I don't know how but your mum told me and she also said you knew it would happen?" Caspian smile faltered and his eyes grew a darker blue.

"You don't want it?" He asked.

"N-No, I-I just don't know right now. I don't feel it's the right time with everything going on with the Zambezis and Bennett." I swallowed the lump in my throat and closed my eyes. "I do want the baby, I'm just scared." Tears of worry rolled down my face as Caspian kissed the top of my head and hugged me tightly.

"You will always have me by your side Kitten, I will always protect you not matter what. That's our baby inside of you right now. Our child Jojo, you have no idea how proud that makes me."

"I love you but I'm really tired right now." I mumbled clinging onto Caspian-the father of my unborn child.

"I love you too Kitten, forever." Caspian purred rocking me in his arms.
