Chat Noir squinted. "I...don't know who you're supposed to be."

Marinette pouted. "Really? I thought you knew everything cat-related!"

"I'm more of a dog person."

Marinette crossed her hands. "That's fake news."

"It true—!"

"Fake news!"

Chat Noir laughed. "Whatever. So tell me, Princess, which feline are you dressing up as?"

Marinette twirled. "Puss in Boots!"

"Puss in Boots?"

"Yeah! Look—" Marinette opened her computer and pulled up a photo. "This cute kitty! I binged all the Shrek movies the other day and I thought this would be a cute costume to do for Alya's costume party."

Chat Noir took in her costume and observed the photo. Her outfit was cute but simple. She wore a light orange sundress with tan lines along the hem, her hair was tied with orange ribbons and a brown cowboy hat with a red feather was nestled on top of her head. She wore brown boots and an orange cat tail was attached to the back of her dress. Brown gloves and a mini cape was also part of her outfit. Secured at the hip, was a silver foil. "What do you think?"

Chat Noir blushed a bit. "You look cute."

Marinette smiled. "T-thanks."

"But," Chat Noir started.

"But?"

"But, my costume is better than yours."

Marinette rolled her eyes. "Yeah, right! You didn't even know about Puss in Boots before me!"

"Actually, I did. Because I am literally a puss in boots!"

"I—" Marinette stopped. "Oh my gosh, you're right."

Chat Noir put his hands on his hips and grinned. "Aren't I always, Princess?"

"Shut up."

"So, why don't you introduce me to this character? You have time before the party, right?"

Marinette grinned and pulled up the movie on her computer. "Heck yeah, I do."
