A/N: Hello everyone! I'm sorry its been a few days! I was at writers block and I was writing my other facfiction.

I have some bad news as well. I'm thinking I'm just about ready to end this fanfiction. I have an ending in mind. I would love everyone's oppinion. I'm thinking of starting a new fanfiction. I would love some ideas for maybe a new origional character, and it doesn't need to be a Soul Eater OC, but I'm going to do requests, and if i like the OC, I'll continue the story.

I REALLY DONT WANT TO END MARI! SHE IS MY BABY, BUT IF YOU WANT THIS TO COnTINUE, COMMENT AND IT WILL GO ON.

Mari tried to move but she felt cold as the witch took a few, slow, steps toward Mari. Mari attempted to stand and fell forwards when she lost her footing. She felt something go under her arms and hold her up as her head lolled.

"Trying to run? Why would you do that?" Arachne said. Mari could feel the strings around her arms, Arachne's spider webs she thought, tighten.

"Because... you're a witch..." Mari said, her vision foggy and her hands were shaking.

"I'm not going to hurt you, darling. I'm just going to bring you home." Arachne said, holding her black fan in front of her face. Mari jerked, her eyes wide as memories flashed in her mind. "But I will be hurting you in the end. Or at least, your mind." Arachne said, her voice evil, but beautiful.

Mari eyes slowly closed, her body going still, and Arachne lowered her to the ground. The door opened and some of Arachne's henchmen stepped in. One lifted Mari and the other started whispering to Arachne.

"I think they've sensed us, Lady Arachne." One said, their mask staring at the woman.

"I don't care. Let's go." Arachne said.

Mari felt her body on something soft like a bed. She turned over, feeling soft sheets on her skin. She sat up, gasping. She held he shoulders, cold, but not shivering. She looked around, trying to remember where she was.

"H-hello?" she asked, but no one answered. She leaned against the headboard of the big bed and tried to catch her breath. She was confused for a moment on how she had gotten there, feeling like a big piece of her memory had been ripped away, or ad faded.

She moved her legs to the edge of the large bed and stood, her legs wobbling. She felt so cold...

She stepped toward the door, using the wall to keep herself upright. "That's right..." she mumbled under her breath, her words slurring together. "I have... hypothermia..." she shook a little for a second, cold overcoming her mind.

She finally made it to the door, her freezing fingers fumbling with the handle for a moment. It opened without a sound, and then she was in a long hallway. She looked down either side of it, her body shaking with shivers.

"Hey!" Someone yelled and Mari's head whipped around. She saw a group of people who all wore masks that had four eyes on them. They started running towards her, all of them holding some sort of weapon and Mari remembered. Arachne had captured her and brought her here.

Something slammed into her arm and she felt hot pain wash into her. She looked down and saw that one of the people had slammed a knife into her arm. She opened her mouth to cry out in pain, but one of the other people cut her off my slamming something hard into the back of her head.

She crumpled to the ground, red filling her vision. Knives and clubs started slamming into her, with the occasional foot. Mari curled into a ball as the pain took over her mind.

'Hey!' a voice in her mind called.

She flinched. 'What do you want?' Mari thought back.

The person sighed, sounding like the one that was called Stephan. 'Don't die you idiot! If you do, so do we!'

'Yes yes. It wouldn't logical for you to die now! We've but just arrived!' Lucas' voice said, sounding like he was enjoying Mari being in pain.

'Get up.' Kyoki's voice said.

'I don't want to.' Mari thought, her body going still as the people hurting her stopped, her black blood dripping from their weapons. Her body was covered in black, and there were cuts all over her body.

'Get up.' Kyoki said again, her voice unforgiving and stoic. 'Get up and fight them.' She said.

Mari's eyes flashed open and her power surged. It flashed outward and Arachne's henchmen smashed against the walls with a chorus of cracks. One was left and Mari turned to them, a ravage animal look in her eyes. The other person held up a gun type thing and shot something red at Mari.

Something small stabbed into Mari's chest and she looked down. She saw a little red dart sticking from her flesh, the type they used on animals. That's what she was. An animal. Her legs went limp and her body suddenly shook with shivers.

"Wh-what?" she asked and she heard soft footsteps. She looked up and saw Arachne.

"Oh, Mari, it's not a sleep dart." She leaned down and took Mari's face in her hands, Mari's black eyes terrified. "It's specially designed to make the keshin in you to come out and regrow, like your... "angel" wings, for instance."

Mari looked up at Arachne. "N-no..." Mari said. Her body was frozen to the spot as Arachne smiled.

"But..." the woman said. "You have to first have something happen to you that triggers your insanity to a high extent." Arachne said.

Mari tried to pull away, her body movements slow and jerking. "G-get away..." Mari said, pain beginning to fill her body.

Arachne let go of her and Mari fell to her side, her body paralyzed. "And the best part is, you cant even move!" Arachne said, the thing evil, but she said it in a delicate voice.

The henchman that had shot Mari grabbed one of her hands and started dragging her down the hallway, Arachne ignoring Mari's small sounds of pain.

'And now we're going to die.' Kyoki said.

Mari was thrown into a dark room, her body hitting a hard wall. Hand grabbed her wrists and dragged her up onto a chair. They fastened her wrists to the arms of the chair, and Arachne lifted her chin as the people moved away.

Arachne ripped the dart out of Mari, causing Mari to cry out in pain. "That will be the least of your pains." Arachne said.

"P-please..." Mari begged, her lip trembling. "P-please... not... not a-again..." Mari sobbed. She pulled at the chains keeping her wrists to the chair. "N-not again..." she repeated, her head spinning. She black eyes squeezed shut and she started gasping when her body began to seize up with anxiety. "No...no...no...no...no..." she said again and again.

Arachne smiled as she saw Mari's mind bend to it's limits. "That's it, Mari. Let go of all of your sanity."

"No... No!" Mari said, shaking her head. She held out against the insanity pushing at the edges of her mind.

Arachne lifted a syringe in her delicate hand, smiling as she saw Mari's look of horror. "Remember this? I saw Medusa do it to you countless times." Arachne slipped the needle into Mari's skin and Mari screamed, her body shaking.

"Stop! Please... St-stop!" Mari said, kicking her legs and causing the needle in her skin to tear her flesh open in a large black gash. She gasped as Arachne pulled back, bringing the needle with her.

"Just let a little insanity into your mind, Mari. Just a little. I want to see what you look like as a keshin." Arachne said.

Mari closed her eyes. "But... if I go insane... and kill p-people... Kidd... is going to... to have to... t-to kill me..." Mari said.

"He doesn't matter." Arachne said, her voice sounding annoyed.

Mari black eyes flashed open and she looked down at her trembling hands. "No, no, no!" she screamed, stamping her foot into the ground.

"Okay." Arachne said, and Mari looked up as the woman turned, walking to the back of the room, darkness swallowing her. Mari's body was shaking with fear as the woman returned holding something in her hand. "I was able to preserve one of Medusa's snakes when she died." Arachne said, holding the snake up and smiling a little, her feature beautiful but insane.

"Not th-that..." Mari pleaded.

Arachne held up the writhing snake, watching it twine around her delicate wrist. "Now, shall we start?" Arachne asked, walking forward to Mari.

Mari shrank away from Arachne, her feet trying to push herself away from the woman, but her chair was nailed to the floor. "Anything... but this..." Mari said.

Arachne reached a hand forward and lifted Mari's chin. "Oh but this is the best thing ever, seeing you in pain." Arachne moved her hand to Mari's cheek, running her soft finger under Mari's eye. "It's so pleasing, because you can't do anything about it."

"N-not this... no this..." Mari said, her eyes shaking with fear.

Arachne pulled away for a moment, her fingertips still on Mari's skin. "It'll be okay, Mari. I won't hurt you." Arachne said.

Mari's lips started trembling with relief and her shoulders relaxed, her body loosing its tension. But that was just what Arachne wanted.

Arachne grabbed Mari's chin, ripping her mouth open. The snake moved into Mari's mouth and slithered down her throat. Mari jerked, her body shaking. Her eyes were wide and her mind snapped.

'Well! We're going to be sucked in! This'll be interesting!' Stephan's voice laughed in her head.

'Hey! Look! My body is fading!' Lucas' voice joined Stephan's laughter.

Mari body was full of pain and something terrible. She could feel something in her mind, ripping her memories apart. Her skin began to stretch, her skin tearing and she screamed, squeezing her eyes shut.

She was suddenly in a dark space, darker than the room that her body was in. She spun in a circle. Looking through the darkness.

'Well, thank god those two idiots are gone.' A voice said.

Mari turned around and saw a girl. It was her but... 'Kyoki...?' Mari asked.

The girl nodded. 'You're about to lose all control. I can help you though, then Kidd isn't going to have to kill you.'

'How?' Mari asked.

Kyoki walked to Mari. 'I don't know what'll happen to me, I may disappear, but if we use your witch magic, I may be able to save a bit of your sanity.' She said.

Mari's eyes were wide. 'Really?' her face went somber. 'But... why are you being so nice? When we were talking earlier, you sounded angry. If you might disappear... well, what's in it for you?' Mari asked.

Kyoki smiled. 'I don't hate you. Why would I? I am you. I want to save you.' She smiled sweetly. 'I act mean, but, I'm just a figment of your imagination.' She took my hand, smiling from ear to ear. 'I want you to be happy, 'cause then, I'm happy.' She pulled away. 'Now. Let's try to save you.'

Mari opened her eyes, seeing blood on the floor in front of her. She realized it was her, dark and black.

'Mari!' Kyoki's voice said.

Mari's head was filled with static so it was hard to hear her. 'Y-yes?' she thought, gasping for air as her back exploded with pain.

"Yes!" Arachne said, pleased to see that Mari was losing control.

Mari leaned her head back and cried in pain.

'Ignore it!' Kyoki said, desperate. 'I want you to use your witch magic and build a barrier around your mind. It wont save your body, but I think it has a chance of saving you.'

'Okay...' Mari thought, closing her eyes and letting her power surge. A mental wall constructed itself around Mari's remaining bit of sanity. Insanity surged against the wall, but it held.

'Perfect!' Kyoki said.

"No!" Arachne screamed as she felt what Mari was doing. "Stop it! Just become the monster you are!"

There was absolute silence for a moment and Mari felt the insanity in her mind retreat for a second.

'Something's wrong...' Kyoki said. 'This isn't good...'

"Hah. You failed." Arachne said and Mari looked up, her eyes confused as there was silence.

Then it hit her.
