Marinette’s POV
I say holding Chat in my arms. I was home, alone and sad. Chat was laying into the crook of my arm as I looked over a new coat pattern. My homework that Alya brought over was still sitting on my bed.

“I was so close to bringing him home” I turned my computer on as a picture from Adriens last photo shoot appeared for my home screen.

Tikki leaned on the computer and sighed. She was still exhausted from me getting so beat up yesterday. I had to use almost all of the bandages and ointment from my first aid kit. My eye was still puffy and my parents now think I hit my head in the bathroom. Black and purple bruising lined my stomach and back.

“Marinette” Tikki tilted her head. “are you still in pain?”

“Yah Tikki it still hurts” I sighed and looked over the pattern again before clicking into my email.

There have been no further sighting of Adrien and I was worried about what has happen to him. Chat was me as princess. Adrien barely saw me as a friend. I looked down at Chat as he looked up at me, purring happily.

“Let’s go downstairs huh?” picking him up carefully I made my way downstairs to see Alya and Nino waving frantically.

“Hey girl heard you had it rough last night” she laughed a little. “You should see the ladyblog blowing up over Ladybugs attack last night without help!”

“I’ll Check it out later Alya” I smiled and giggles a little.

“Hey Mari can I have you fix this” Nino held out a shirt, almost grinning. “Adrien left it at my place and somehow it got a tip in it. I want it looking perfect for when he gets back”

“Sure Nino” I blushed a little taking the shirt. “where you guys heading?”

“park” Alya smiled big. “some big music festival”

“Have fun you guys” both waves goodbye as my parents rounded the corner.

“take that cat upstairs now Marinette!” Papa sounded annoyed and I ran upstairs quickly, avoiding the pain. “and do that homework!”

I went to the bathroom and made sure I didn’t make anything bleed again. When I made my way back out, I jumped and tried not to screen as Chat Noir lounged on my window chair.

“You have such a beautiful view purrincess “ he smiled and got up.

“thanks Chat Noir” I grabbed the homework and sat at my desk.

“what’s wrong princess” he sat down by me, testing his chin on the desk.

“are you good at geometry?”

“sure purrincess”

I could feel myself turning into Chat Noir from cat form. Mari was still in the bathroom as I looked around for a not so startling place to sit. Plagg was beginning to be highly annoying with the whole changing at will thing.
