Pixal screws the final bolt into the mech. After working for over twenty four hours, the mech is fully clean and functional. Wiping her forehead, she steps away from the mech. The mech sparkles in the faint sunlight, the new blue paint shining. Pixal smiles.

A soft alarm rings, signalling someone's nearby. Pixal's eyes darting around for a hiding place, knowing she can't get caught down here. Darting towards the table, a voice makes her freeze.

"Pixie?"

Pixal spins around. Her boyfriend is stood in the entrance of the Saumari Cave, his hands by his sides. Pixal smiles.

"Hello Zane."

He walks over to her, his eyes scanning over the mech. Pixal glances down.

"You rebuilt this?"

"Yes."

"Is there a reason?"

Pixal hesitates, telling him is an option, she never keeps anything from him. Zane looks at her. Pixal settles for a shrug, her mind whirring, the sound drumming in her ears. Zane smiles and takes her hand, pecking it lightly.

"I love you."

"I love you too Snow."

Zane smiles, leans down, and presses his lips to hers.
