"Alright. It's the start of the month. Get ready for a great 31-day period. Now GET UP!!!" a short-haired girl yelled at the top of her lungs. The whole house shook.
  "Aizz, Tsuchi, get a hold of your yelling, I almost spill out my coffee!" A long-black-haired teen sighed and shook her head. The short-haired, now known as Tsuchi, retorted. "Not everyone is a light-sleeper, Shizuka. Besides, this one doesn't work every time, but it is better than having to try to wake them one by one. The best solution, I'm afraid."
  Shizuka raised her brows and got up from her armchair. Setting the book she had been reading and the coffee cup on her other hand down the table, the noirette came beside Tsuchi. She calmly called. "If anyone is not ready by seven, you will be rewarded with a lightning bolt for breakfast. It's currently," she glanced at the clock sitting on the kitchen counter, "6:57. The rule applies... now."
  "Yes madam!" Voices were heard from the second floor, and footsteps rushed to where the bathroom is.
   At 6:59 sharp , five figures were seen rushing down the stairs and standing straight before the two.
  Tsuchi breathed. "That was fast."
  "Of course." Shizuka just snorted. "No one wants to become toast at the beginning of a new day. Especially not for a reason as dumb as waking up late."
  Ryouka, a messy head, glared. "Excuse me, waking up late is a real big problem with this sleepworm here. She gestured to the teen slouching on her shoulder.
  "Wake up." The auburn hair nudged the koala. Said "koala" shrugged and continue sleeping.
  "Looks like there is someone who wants to be toast after all." Shizuka turned to Tsuchi and gave a small but confident smirk while har hand found its way to her waist. "Best solution, eh?"

  "What? Did you two compete about the best way to wake us up?" Hikari, a brunette, rubbed her eyes, already pieced two and two together even in her sleepy state. ("It's not like it's hard to conclude though." Shizuka crossed her arms) "Yes we did. Now go eat before your breakfast ran cold." Tsuchi, always the peacemaker, speak out before any argument sparked.

  "Wake up!" Ryouka was shaking the "sleepworm"'s shoulder, but she, what a deep sleeper, did not even crack open an eye.

  "Need a hand?" The taller noirette smirked, electricity cackled in her hand.

  Ryouka gulped. Hard.

  Oh well, I'll apologize later. Or maybe never.

...

  "AAARRRGGHHH!" A scream rang through the air while everyone just gulped again and continued to eat in silence.

  "You up, Tsuki?" Shizuka blew smoke from her hand, voice monotonous. As if the electrocution had never happened and she was innocent.

  "I- Why did you-" Tsuki threw a small fit of cough to take the smoke and some small damages out of her lungs, she could still hear her pulsing veins, a result of a sudden adrenaline that only happened after an electric shock. Please note water is the most vulnerable when it comes to electricity, Shizuka! 

  "Enough of that, let's eat." Shizuka pulled the silverette with her, not forgetting to mouth a small "what you got for not listening to my rules" to the teen.

  Their breakfast was silence afterwards, everyone either try to comfort the victim with their eyes or glance every often to the culprit. The two, especially the noirette, didn't care about it.

...

  "Everyone got their backpacks ready?" Tsuki called when she headed to the door.

  "Yeah." Synchronized the others.

  So in the end, the seven divided went to school together.  Tsuki and Ryouka, 15, together with Tsuchi, 14, and they walked Rina, aged 7, to Seiwa Elementary School before heading to Katsushika Kuritsu Tanteishi Junior High. Continuing their walk after dropping the four to their respective schools, Shizuka, at the age of 17, went to Minami-Katsushika Senior High with Hikari and Shouko, a teen with dark brown hair, as they are 16. (all of the destinations here are real)

  "See ya after school!" Shouko waved enthusiastically at Shizuka before going together with Hikari to their grade's building to change into slippers. Said noirette frantically waved back.

...

  "Yaa, what a day!" Ryouka yawned on their way home. "I just wanted to sleep..." Tsuki rubbed her eyes while holding a plushie that came out of nowhere. ("I kept him in my locker." She had said. So far no one believed her.) "Let's get home and after you've done your homework do whatever you want, okay?" Tsuchi smiled warmly.

  "To think that you are the second youngest in here..." Hikari smiled fondly. Shouko grinned. "Unlike this big sister here," she skillfully dodged a bag swung her way by none other than Shizuka, "who didn't care at all."

  "Now excuse me, who do you think cook your every single meal? Tsuchi still had to revise for her grade 9 and 10 exams, she haven't got all the time."

  Shouko pouted. "I've never seen you cook, so it counts like a no."

  And that is the final blow.

"GET BACK HERE YOU LITTLE-" The chase continued in the reddish orange hues of afterglow.
