Veeransh's room.....

It's was the time of dawn and the first rays of sun entered through the Slightly unfurled glass door of the balcony. The beauty and serenity of the nature was mesmerising but beyond any comparison with the boy sleeping over his chest on the king size bed wearing nothing but a single piece of grey bottoms.

His silky black locks crowning over his forehead coming to his beautiful lashes and that gleaming skin effortlessly decorating the every element of that dark room. His charm and the cuteness was unbeatable. Alarm on the side table rang and buzzed off with a smack. Veeransh took a roll on bed and finally woke up with a yawn. He directly went to the washroom and hauled for jogging in his grey joggers and loose hoodie.

After coming back he had his protein shake and got ready for school but before leaving for the dinning haul he kept something in his pocket from the drawer.
As he came to the dinning table Vedika Raghuvanshi ,Ananya Raghuvanshi and Agastya Raghuvanshi (His younger siblings) were already sitting having their breakfast.

Ananya- "Good morning bhai!"she greeted.

Veeransh- " Good Morning Anu! Morning everyone" Pulled her cheeks and sat on the chair.

Agastya- "Morning to thik Hai Bhai par aaj aap kuch jyada hi
Khush lag rahe ho! Akhir baat Kya Haiii?" He raised his brows and asked in teasing tone.

("Morning is fine Bro but You seems to be much happier today! What's the matter afterall?")

Vedika ji- passed him orange juice "Baat to sahi kahi Ashu tune, kahin Kisi se milvane Ki Khushi toh Nahi?"
("Actually Ashu said right, Is it about introducing someone?")

Veeransh- "You guys plz stop it now! It's nothing like that" dug his eyes in plate and started doing breakfast.

Agastya- "Mom whom does Bhai wants to introduce you with?" questioned vedika ji and looked at veer.
*Veeransh coughed* Vedika ji passed him water.

Vedika ji- "Hai koi Bahut khaas! Haina Veer?"She mocked him.

("There is someone special! Right Veer?')

Veer- "Mom I know her she won't come! There's nothing like what you think of" Passed them frustrating look.

Vedika- "I don't want any excuses, I want to meet her and that's it!" She left to kitchen.

Ananya- "Bhai is she talking about your girlfriend??" She asked in exiting voice.

Agastya- "Haww Bhai! You lied to me! I will never talk to you!" With a pout he gave him complaining gaze.

Veeransh- "Chup Chap apna nashta finish kro aur padhai pe dhyaan do!" In cold tone.

("Finish your breakfast quietly and focus on your studies")

Veeransh grabbed his black Maybach keys and left in an instant. The entire journey was consumed by thoughts of his mom and the warning she had just given him.

After parking his car at school, he spotted Viaan and Ronny on their bikes nearby. Surya was absent that day.

They made their way directly to the assembly ground, but the light rain suggested that there would be no assembly. With the match just a couple of days away, participants were permitted to skip classes to focus on their practice.

Without wasting any time, they approached the coach on the field and marked their attendance. To his surprise, only Shanaya was present. His gaze searched the area as he made his way towards her.

Veeransh- "Hi! Why are you practicing alone?" He tried to maintain a gentle smile .

Shanaya- "Oh hiii! Woh actually Nia wasn't feeling well today I asked her so many times but she got angry so" she answered being lost somewhere.

Veeransh- "Oh! But didn't she know about that match is too close and she is not yet well trained in some kicks" He tried to insure something.

Shanaya-"I told her and she never behaved like this instead she said that she will join us tomorrow only"
She shrugged but she was hiding something.
Veeransh noticed that but didn't pay attention instead tried to get rid of his thoughts and focusing on practising with Shanaya today.

"Why should I care! She must not be liking the thought of practising with me Huh? what does she think of herself...then I'm also not dying to see her!! Or am I!! No no! Focus Veer Focus!!"
Veeransh was building and demolishing his own thoughts until a new thought striked into his mind.

"Wait! Did she hurt herself last night?? Ya I think that's the matter afterall she fell so hard..but on me indeed..but!! Godd!
He whispered to himself.

The day almost flied for Shanaya. She felt so good spending the whole time with Veeransh. He was actually very sweet, gentle and caring not with everyone but with her for some reasons. She was very happy because Nia didn't came with her and she desperately needed a company of someone.

But unlike her, for Veeransh, each minute felt like an hour. Don't know why he just wanted to end this time asap and to just leave.
It's not like he didn't liked their company infact because of Shanaya he could be able to distract his mind, he gave up finding that why he is feeling attracted to her, he doesn't even like her but there is something in her that he couldn't control himself to talk to her or just looking at her but despite all this feeling all he wanted was just to LEAVE!

When the departure bell rang, he took off running, uncertain of why or where he was going, but he ran nonetheless. While crossing paths after a class, something caught his eye, causing him to freeze in his tracks. It had been an unbearable 16 hours since he last saw her, yet it felt like 16 years. There was Nia, as always, sleeping on her bench with her eyes closed, her two braids trailing strands of hair across her face, sitting by the window. Time seemed to stand still for him, but then he realized - SHE WAS NOT SLEEPING. She was simply sitting there with her eyes shut, a tear escaping down her cheek, which she quickly wiped away before opening her eyes. Veeransh found himself lost in thought, mentally calculating as he watched her walk away from him.

"She is gone?? Did she just ignored me! But what happened to her?" He was murmuring looking at the slowly disappearing back of Nia.

He felt a sudden jolt of pain in his heart as he put his hand in his pocket and looked at something then he left for the parking area.

On his way Nia was rolling over in his mind ,don't know what come to his mind as her turned over his car, he was driving very harsh and within seconds his car was in front of a big lavish Villa. He looked at the name plate :-
'SINGH VILLA'

He heard a voice "Sahab idhar park karna mana hai aap aage jayie" Watchman said in firm voice.
("Sir parking is not allowed here, You move ahead")

Veeransh- "Main yahan kisi se Milne aya hun" He replied while lowering the window of his car.

Watchman- "Kinse Milna hai aapko? Andar aane ki permission kisi ko nahi hai" questioned him in suspecting tone.
("Whom do you want to meet? No one is permitted to go inside")

Veeransh- "Dekho mujhe Nia Singh se Milne hai Main uska dost hun. kya woh ghar par hain?"
He lied but in confident voice.

("See I want too meet Nia Singh I'm her friend. Is she home?")

Watchman -"Ashaa Nia bitiya se milna hai apko..toh pehle batana chahiye tha na...jaiye jaiye"
He replied in pleasing tone this time and opened the gate.

("Oh so you wanna meet Nia...you should have told me earlier...please come")

He rang the house bell once, then twice, no one opened the door but then he heard some loud noises coming out from the house. It was difficult to predict what was going on but he suspected and was about to ring the bell again when door opened with sudden jolt.

"Yes?" Maid opened the door and asked him in pleasantly but he could sniff something wrong out there.

"I wan....."someone interrupted him between.

"Come in beta" Sunidhi ji came from behind and replied.

Veeransh- "Namaste(Hello) aunty!" He touched her feet.

Sunidhi ji- "Khush raho...Aap??"caressed his head and asked in gentle tone.

("Stay happy...You?")

Veer- "Aunty myself Veer...Nia's new friend! Actually I want to discuss about our group project, If you don't mind?" He asked in sweet voice.

Sunidhi ji- "Don't worry beta! She is in her room" She showed him the way to Nia's room upstairs and left him at her door.

Veeransh- "Yeh to mujhe akele yahan shod kar nikal gyin ab Sherni ke muh mein haath kon daale?...bacha Lena Mahadev!" He whispered in himself and prayed to God.
("She left me here all alone. Now whose gonna put hand in the mouth of lioness...Save me god!")

*Knock Knock*

Nia was sitting on the floor resting her back to the corner of bed and covering her face between her knees. As she heard a knock on the door she ignored having thought of her mom but when it got knocked again she fisted her hands in anger at unlocked the door with a sudden jolt. Before she could yell at the person, she fell blank looking at the someone's familiar figure in front of her.

Meanwhile Veeransh couldn't take off his gaze from her swollen red eyes and her face filled with the traces of tears. He felt like someone has squeezed her heart and thrown him like a lively dead body. But in the another moment he felt his body is burning into flames his hands fisted and jaw clenched. All he wanted to know was the reason and the person who did this to her. He was going to ask something but before he could open his mouth she chose to say.

Nia- "Come in" She opened the door and getting him in, closes it again but didn't hesitate to lock.

Nia sat beside him on the couch. She tried to look fine ,bringing a fake smile on her face.

Veeransh- "Are you alright???" His voice filled with concern and care.

Nia met her eyes with his but she was not able to collect the words or forming any kind of sentence out of them. She didn't know how to describe the whole situation just when she couldn't help herself she gave up. Her eyes caught up with tears and she hugged him.
For a moment Veeransh couldn't process anything. Their hearts were racing and syncing with each other's heartbeat. There was barely any gap between their bodies for even air to pass out through but as her grip tightened on his shirt from back he felt his shirt getting up wet with her tears he came up to reality.

Ignoring their surroundings and the complexities of their relationship, he wrapped his arms around her delicate frame, holding her waist firmly. He pulled her into a warm embrace, feeling as though if he let go, she would disappear forever-perhaps fate had already written it that way. In that moment, he had no desire to restrain himself.

Nia felt an incredible sense of safety in his arms as she melted against him. In his embrace, she felt liberated from all her burdens, as if he had taken on her sorrow. She felt protected, no longer needing to care for anyone else, secure in the knowledge that he would shield her from any harm. She wished for this moment to last forever and longed to freeze the world in place.

As his hand gently ran through her hair, soothing her, he didn't stop her tears; instead, it was as if he wanted to assure her that he would always be there to prevent them from falling again. He was determined to eliminate every single reason that could cause her pain

He came out from his thoughts as he heard a familiar voice. Finally she said something but he was scared that now she will yell on him that how could he come so close to her and bla bla! but his heart was about to pop out as he heard his name from her soft lips.

Nia- "Veer.."

Veeransh- "Hmm..?"

Nia- "Thank you for coming!"she started sobbing.

Veeransh- "I am always there for you a call away and I will never leave you" He whispered in her ear with his deep voice.

Feeling his breath on her neck she was ready to lose her control over him. Her body started shivering not from fear but something different, something so welcoming, something she could live feeling forever. But she came to her senses when Veeransh slowly released her from his tight grip. No matter Nia first chose to come close but atleast he knew his boundaries.

Veeransh- - "Now tell me what happened to you, who did this?"
He cupped her face with his warm hands and his voice depened at his last question.

Nia- "I think you should leave now" She felt like something broken in her heart but She don't want him to be involved in all this.

Veeransh- "If you don't want to tell me, it's okay but please don't force me to leave" Veeransh looked passionately in her eyes which was enough for her to lose her control over her emotions and tears again flooded into her eyes.

She herself didn't understand why she is crying over and over again in front of a person whom she barely started knowing from month and now she wants to trust him, wants to share everything, she wants him to console her?? She is the strongest girl despite going through so much in her family from past few days she never let anyone know what's going on with her. She doesn't share her problems with anyone and Today she is crying??

Anyone who didn't saw her like this would never believe that Nia can even cry but at the End she is also a human!
She do cry but alone without letting anyone know. She never even tried to cry in front of her own family ,even her own friends! Shanaya, Khushi ,Shivam as she doesn't want others to think that she is weak. But today she did, but in front of whom , someone she doesn't even know properly yet. Won't he judge her or take her advantage knowing her weak point? But she wanted to trust him, She truly does.

Nia- "Please Veer! I don't want you to be in any trouble or someone to misunderstand you, I believe you but not everyone is same" She said while sobbing hard.

Veeransh- "Nia...Nia look at me ok..ok...I won't...ok now please stop crying" Help her drink the water and took her to the bed.

Veeransh- "Now don't you dare to cry! Relax and just close your eyes, try to sleep I will call you in morning...okay??" He said in gentle but authoritative tone. As she nodded her head in yes.

Veeransh stood up and moved towards the door as something gripped him. He turned around Nia was grabbing his wrist sitting on bed without meeting her eyes. A smile swept on Veeransh's face.

Veeransh- "Raise your eyes Nia."
Nia looked at him with watery eyes and nodded her head in no as if she was asking him to not to leave her alone.

Nia- "Bas thodi der aur....please fir kabhi nahi kahungi!"She pleaded.
("Just for some more time... please I will never ask you again")

Veeransh- "I will never leave you again!..so you wouldn't ever need to ask me to do so" He came close and sat on the bed .

God knows what came over Nia; she startled at his touch and rested her head in his lap. He anticipated a confrontation, but instead, she always found a way to draw him deeper into her charm.

His hand began to move through her silky hair, almost on instinct.

This was the sweetest moment of his life so far, and he wished he could stay in it forever. He kept his gaze fixed on her, taking in every feature and wondering how someone could look so adorable even after shedding tears.

Suddenly, the door creaked open, and Sunidhi ji stepped in, taken aback by the sight before her. The scene was overwhelming.

As Veeransh noticed her, he started to rise, but she gestured for him to remain still, signaling for silence with her finger on her lips. She approached and gently ran her fingers through Veer's hair, silently expressing her gratitude.

While the time she left from their Nia had fallen in deep sleep. He slowly covered her with blanket and thought to leave but he stopped all of sudden, he leaned on her face and pressed his lips with her forehead and in no time left from there.

While driving as always he was only thinking about the same questions.
"What's wrong with her...?her family is such a sus! But aunty is very sweet." he whispered to himself.

He suddenly remembered something and put his hand in his pocket
'A bracelet! '

"Ohh no! Jo kaam karne Gaya tha woh to hua hi nahi....! Par jo hua woh usse bhi asha tha" A wide smile spreaded over his lips as he remembered her proximity.

("Ohh no! I forgot about the work I went there. But what happened was precious than this one")

*Horn*

CITY HOSPITAL MANALI

He came out of his bubble of memories which got popped up by a car horn on the road can be audible from the window.
He looked at his hand and gently released away her grip of finger from his bracelet. He leaned on her face and whispered in her ear with his cold husky voice

"I told you jaana....I will never ever leave you !! Don't worry I am always with you" He stood up and called the doctor.

Within seconds doctor with her whole team of nurses and ward boy rushed into room. Before they could proceed further they heard a strict cold voice. They all got sweat on their forehead as they looked at the person present over there. Who was not looking less than the Satan Lord to them.

"I warned you already that I only want female Staff to check her!!"
He yelled in his deep voice all of them were about to get a heartattack before he said further.

"Now get lost!! I don't want to see your faces in this hospital as long as I am here!! Or your families won't be able to find you in this whole damn universe!"
He pointed towards those ward boys as his jaw clenched. In a blink of an eye they were vanished from the room.

Veer shot a look on the bed and whispered before leaving
"I promise you jaana..I will make that person beg for death to your feet whosoever has even a small involvement in this!"
A smirk swept on his corner of lips.
