Anjana tried to console and prayed to her God to keep everything fine.

Zoya was all ready for the interview.

Zoya's outfit.

She was looking like a sunshine, a Ray of hope.

She stepped downstairs from her room for the breakfast.

Zoya: Good morning Aunty. Good morning Mahi.

Madhu: Good morning Zoya. Come beta. Sit and have your breakfast.

Mahi just gave a fake smile at Zoya who was just enjoying her breakfast.

Zoya: Mahi, when will be the interview start?

Mahi: How can I know Zoya. It is Adi's wish when he will take interviews.

Madhu: Mahi, speak properly.

Mahi just rolled her eyes while Zoya gave Madhu an assurance that it is okay.

After the breakfast they set off for Office.

Mahi and Zoya went to the top floor where Aditya's and main employees' cabin were.

Mahi: You wait. I will talk to Adi about you.

Zoya: Okay.

Zoya sat on the bench.

Mahi entered the cabin.

Mahi: Sir May I come in?

Aditya: Hmm.

Mahi: Sir, the new interns are here. Will I start to send those?

Aditya: Yeah okay. And Mahi, your last presentation was not good. I had to handle the Viranis in my way. So better don't dare to do it next time.

Mahi in a low voice: Sorry Sir.

Aditya: Now. Give me the CVs of the interns.

Mahi: Yes Sir.

Aditya: Okay send them quick. And I will choose only 5 out of 30.

Mahi in his mind: Huh. Now I am sure that Zoya will not be in these 5.

Mahi: Okay Sir. I will send them one by one.

Zoya's turn was no. 10th.

She knocked on the door.

Zoya: May I come in Sir?

Aditya: Come in. Zoya Siddique?

Zoya: Yes Sir.

Aditya: Sit.

Zoya sat on the chair which was opposite of Aditya's.

Aditya: You are daughter of Wasim Siddique right? The industrialist.

Zoya: Yes Sir. He is my father.

Aditya: Then why are you here? You can get some experience in your own father's office.

Zoya: Yes Sir I know but shayad waha humse koi thik se kaam nahi karwata. Matlab hum us office ke owner ke beti hain to sab hum ko izzat dete shayad hume utne acche se kaam na kar ne de to? That is why I am here.

Aditya's lips curved with a smile.

Aditya: Hmm. I liked your thought Miss Siddique.

Zoya: Thank you Sir.

Aditya: You know na that being in Hooda Company is a very responsible thing?

Zoya: Yes Sir. I will try my best.

Aditya: Hmm Good.

Aditya then asked some questions about business related.

Aditya: Okay then. Now you may wait for the results.

Zoya: Okay Sir.

Aditya in his mind: Aj kal sab apne baap ka office keh kar hukum chalata hain aur ye ladki apne Papa ki office se chali ayi taaki kuch partiality na ho. Impressive.

Aditya somehow was impressed and was thinking about Zoya as a independent and hard working girl.

Mahi took the names of those 5 interns who got selected.

Mahi: Akansha, Shawn, Mithilesh ji, Vinod, and Zoya.

Mahi in her mind: How did she pass the interview. God. Damn it.

Aditya while checking some files.

Aditya: Mahi. Mahi.

Mahi entered Aditya's cabin.

Mahi: Yes, Sir.

Aditya: Listen. Tomorrow we have another meeting with Sharma's. So we have to be the best. And you will prepare the best presentation.

Mahi: Sure Sir. I will try my best.

Aditya: See Mahi. This is one of our most important clients. If we crack the deal, it will be very much beneficial for our company. And after you make the presentation, just let me know, I will double check it.

Mahi: Okay Adi Sir. Don't worry. We will surely crack this deal.

This conversation was overhead by someone.

Aditya: Hmm. Now call all the new interns.

Mahi: Okay Sir.

All the interns came inside the cabin of Aditya.

Aditya: Okay. So I am giving you guys some assignments to check the ability of yours. Mahi will give you guys the files.

Everyone: Okay Sir.

Mahi gave some files to all the new interns.

Later that evening, while Mahi was working on the Sharma's project, Zoya called Mahi.

Zoya: Mahi. It is getting late na? Madhu Aunty might get worried.

Mahi: Zoya, you don't need to worry so much. Will you plz mind your own business?

Zoya: Umm ok.

After all the interns left, Mahi was still working and Zoya would not let Mahi go alone.

Mahi: Yeah Zoya. I have almost completed half of the project so let us go now.

Zoya: Hmm.

In the parking plot.

Mahi got in the driver's seat and at that time, Zoya spoke up.

Zoya: Oh No. Mahi, I actually forgot to bring my assignment.

Mahi: You can work on it tomorrow na.

Zoya: No Mahi, I need to work on it at night also. I will just bring it.

Mahi: Okk. Fine. I will also come with you.

Zoya got a bit nervous.

Zoya: AA no Mahi. I can go alone. You don't need to come. I can go alone.

The flashbacks got back into Zoya's head.

4 YEARS BEFORE.

Two girls entered the college.

Those 2 girls were none other than Zoya and Pooja.

Zoya used to wear spectacles at that time and was basically a nerd, shy and did not liked to talk with others. OTHERS MEANS SPECIALLY BOYS. And at that time, Pooja was totally the opposite of Zoya. She would just hang out and chill. Mainly Zoya was an Introvert and Pooja was an Extrovert. But they were the best friends who would share every single detail of their life.

That was the first day of their college.

Pooja: Zo. You know. I am so so excited. First of all it is a coed college and moreover we can hangout and have so much fun.

Zoya: Poo, we are going to college to study. Not to have fun and all Ok?

Pooja: Oh Zoya. Come on babes. This is high time now. You should behave like a college girl.

Zoya: Now will you just keep quiet and go to college cuz I need to study.

Pooja: Yeah. Okay when is your first class?

Zoya: AA now it is 7:50 so my class will start in 10 min. Oh no. I need to go.

Pooja: Oh my class will start at 9 so I will just go around the college. Okay?

Zoya: Yeah.

Pooja and Zoya parted their ways.

Pooja was roaming around the college. She was almost about to fall but two muscular hands caught her by her waist.

The boy: Are you okay?

Pooja: Umm. Yes. Thank you.

The boy: It is fine.

Pooja: I am Pooja Mathur.

The boy: Aditya Hooda. You are new in this college right?

Pooja: Yeah.

Aditya: That is why I did not see you here before.

Pooja: Hmm.

Pooja was just lost in Aditya. No doubts Aditya was one of the handsome hunk in the college.

Aditya: Okay then. Will talk to you later. Actually I need to meet my friends.

Pooja: Umm. Aditya. Can we be friends?

Aditya: Um. OK. Friends.

Aditya: If you want then you can join us in the canteen. Only if you don't mind.

Pooja: Sure. That would be so good.

Aditya and Pooja joined Aditya's group of friends.

Aditya: Ooh. Then where is she?

Pooja: She is in class actually.

Radhika: Ooh. We would also like to meet her.

Pooja: Sure. Once she finishes her class, I would call her.

After some random chitchat.

Pooja: It is 8:50. I need to attend my class.

Radhika, Rajveer and Yash: Yeah me too.

Aditya: Oh. Then you guys go. I have my next class at 9:30 so see you all at 11?

Rajveer: Okay. Then.

After taking her mind into a flashback, Zoya in her thoughts.

Zoya in her mind: Ussi din se hi tabahi shuru huin thi. Aur hum uss tabahi ko rok nahi paye. Nahi rok paye.

Tears started to fall from Zoya's eyes and due to lot of crying, she drifted into sleep.

The next day at office.

Aditya: Mahi, bring the presentation that you have made.

Mahi: Yes Sir. I have brought it with me. Here it is.

Aditya connected the pendrive to his laptop and after watching the presentation he was totally surprised.

Aditya roared: What the hell it is Miss Arora?

Mahi flinched: Sir?

Aditya showed the laptop which contained some village scenery pictures.

Mahi: Sir. I did not made these.

Aditya: Oh that means you mean to say that I have made these right?

Mahi: No Sir. I...

Aditya: Just leave.

Mahi: But Sir.

Aditya: Mahi. I said leave.

Mahi left the cabin while crying whereas the other office employees were watching the morning drama.

Aditya was just so furious.

Mahi to all the other employees while crying.

Mahi: I did make the presentation with all my effort. I know that someone did it purposely.

Zoya: Don't worry Mahi. We will find a way.

Mahi was just crying and crying.

While all were around Mahi, Zoya took it as a chance and went to Aditya's cabin.

Zoya: Sir. May I come in?

Aditya: Now. What do you want?

Zoya: Sir. If you don't mind, may I say something?

Aditya: Say without wasting my time.

Zoya: Sir. I have watched my father to handle these kind of situations. If you don't mind, may I help you?

Aditya: Did you ever handle these kind of situations?

Zoya: I have saw.

Aditya in his mind: May be Miss Siddique is right. She is the daughter of the big industrialist so she might have some knowledge about all these and it is nearly impossible for me to do the whole project now. But is it OK if I trust her? Urghh. And moreover the other employees could have also asked but they did not. Such bloody employees I have.

Aditya: Fine. See Miss Siddique. I am giving you only 30 min. I am giving you the half of the project you have to handle it.

Zoya: Okay Sir.

After 30 min.

All the employees were busy in making Mahi calm down whereas Zoya and Aditya were working on the project.

The peon: Sir may I come in?

Aditya: Yes.

The peon: Sir. The clients have arrived and I have made them sit in the slide room.

Aditya: Urghh. Wo ek kahawat hain na ki upar wala jab deta hain to chappar phar ke deta hain, waisa hi ho raha hain mere saath. Upar wale ne aaj mera sara musibat ek din mein hi de raha hain.

Aditya said this being a 5 year old kid which made Zoya giggle a bit which did not go unnoticed by Aditya.

Aditya: Now you don't have to make fun of me.

Zoya: No Sir. I am not making fun of you.

Aditya: See Miss Siddique. If you can make this project successful, I can give the best position. Just plz make it successful.

Zoya: Sir. I will try my best.

Aditya: Huh. Now let us go. They must be waiting for us.

I am so sorry guys. Actually due to my personal problems I have been depressed in these few days but seeing the previous comments my inspiration grew a lot. Love you a lot guys.
