"Dante, you just wait until I get out of this chair!" Duke barked threateningly, trying to teleport again. However, his attempts were in vain. Max watched, completely confused by what he was seeing. Meanwhile, Dante was laughing his head off as he paced around the room. The chihuahua just sat there quietly. "What's so funny?" Max demanded.

Smiling, Dante motioned over to the chihuahua and spoke, "Pepe, I suggest you show them the papers we have." Nodding his head, the small chihuahua known as Pepe reached into his suit and pulled out a folder. Tossing it onto the table, he opened it. Peering at the papers inside, Max saw that they were notes. There was also a picture of Duke. Pointing at a certain section, Dante read, "Subject appears to teleport through everything except for titanium."

"Where did you get those? That's Professor Cogsworth's handwriting," Duke asked. Struggling against his bonds, he growled, "You villain! You stole his work and killed him!"

"For good reasons!" Dante snapped, slamming his paw on the table. Pepe and Max jumped a little in their chairs.

"What do you mean for good reasons?! You killed the greatest professor this world has ever seen!" Duke retorted.

Rubbing his forehead, Dante didn't reply at first. Biting his lip, he murmured, "I suppose you two need to know the truth..."
