It was probably a few more hours until Ares announced for everyone to go to the top floor for the executions, 3 executions, wow. Some people really were cruel enough to torture others. Maddy and I made our way up the stairs, seeing other people who also looked nervous. Maybe it would be someone we know, maybe they'll be someone we've never seen.

"Hello everyone! Today we've had three people tortured to death by three different people!" Ares called out, and there were three people tied up, standing, looking at each other, smirking at each other. They were clearly friends. "My daughter, Simone Snow, any last words?" He asked, standing behind a girl who looked to be about a year or two younger than me with a dark mullet and covered in cuts and bruises, and she smirked.

"You gods don't care for a single one of us, we are just your entertainment, your slaves, but we've had enough, I'd happily go to the underworld than serve you guys." She glared at Ares, who nodded, before pulling out a weapon, an axe, and swinging it, taking her head clean off, which made me quickly cover Maddy's eyes and shut mine.

"Wow, that easy for him to kill his own daughter." Maddy mumbled, leaning into me and burying her face in my neck.

"Just don't pull away, don't watch." I whispered to her and put my hand through her messy hair and rubbing her head, calming her down. "It's not us, we're okay, we're going to be okay, don't worry." I comforted her as I watched Ares approach the next person who now no longer looked smug, who no longer looked proud. He was terrified, and it was clear to see, I could feel it, the way my body shivered, my hairs stood as I watched him look up at Ares.

"Last words, son of Phoebus, Alexander Williams." Ares said, towering over Alexander, who visibly shook, but seemed to have a little bit of bravery left, so he looked at everyone behind Ares, until he made eye contact.

"Perseus, I hope you get killed next, you've done nothing but cause trouble for the camps, you're the reason there is war, why there is death." He glared, and Ares swung, but Alexander didn't stop making eye contact, he stared at me until his head hit the ground, and I gripped and Maddy tighter, was it all my fault. I couldn't even process the last person falling over, what they said, their name, I was zoned out until Maddy shook me slightly, and I blinked, looking at her, who was looking at Ares.

"Alright, everyone's friends will be waiting on the floor you were originally in, so go back to the floor you were previously on, thank you." Ares smirked and flashed away, and Maddy and I quickly walked downstairs.

"It's not like you had any choice about being the prophecy child, it's not your fault." Maddy said as we walked down the stairs, and I shook my head.

"I feel like it's all my fault, so many people would be alive right now if it was Thalia, or Nico, or Jason or Hazel or any children of the big three for the first prophecy. And this last one, maybe Reyna or someone else should have taken my place." I sighed, but I didn't leave it up for discussion because we were now back downstairs, where all my friends were sitting at the table talking, but I didn't see anyone I didn't recognize, I didn't see Maddy's brother.

"He's not here." She sighed, frowning.

"I'm going to kill him." I snarled angrily, and we walked to the table sitting down, her next to me. "Hey guys." I smiled, quickly grabbing food, I was hungry.

"Hey, how are you doing?" It was Hazel who piped up first and I shrugged.

"Well you can imagine, I suppose. Was there anyone else down here with you guys before we came down?" I asked and they looked at each other, shaking their heads. "So guys, this is Maddy." I smiled and they nodded, like they already knew.

"Yeah, we know, they have a screen broadcasting everything at the camps." Leo said, eating some pizza, which made me nod.

"We thought so," Maddy said, focusing on her plate, she was no doubt upset her brother didn't show, none of her friends did, she had no one come for her, to possibly say goodbye.

"Percy, why didn't you tell us about any of the things you told Maddy?" Annabeth asked, I almost didn't notice she was here, almost.

"Because as I told her, I was planning on taking it to my grave." I shrugged, which obviously made them all hurt a bit. "Besides as I said, I don't remember a lot of it. I get flashes here and there but other than that, blank." I said plainly. "Have you guys actually been watching? It's not easy watching people die." I asked and no one replied.

"We've been keeping an eye on what you've been doing, making sure you're staying alive." Piper said when she noticed nobody else was saying anything. I hummed as I continued to drink water and stuff my face. It's hard only eating once a day especially when being awake so much.

"Have people that get killed here been going back to camp? Not actually dying?" Maddy asked and everyone but I looked at her in confusion.

"What do you mean?" Annabeth asked curiously, Annabeth was giving her a dirty look but it's not like she can say anything, she broke up with me.

"Earlier we went into a room and there were photographs from over 100 years ago, we can show you." She said, looking at me and I nodded, and we stood up and walked to the door, the others following. I reached to open the door, but it was locked.

"It's locked?" I said questionably, backing up, angling my body slightly, and tried to knock it down, again and again. "Why the Hades is it locked?" I growled under my breath, hitting it hard, but I bounced off after an audible snap came from my shoulder. "Fucking bitch." I growled, sitting up and gripping my shoulder. Dislocated, great.

"Percy, calm down, we got the idea." Jason said, and I glared at the door firmly, standing up and continued to feel my shoulder, yup definitely dislocated.

"I feel like I jumped into concrete." I grimaced as Maddy stood next to me and grabbed my dislocated arm, and pulled it forward lightly until I heard it pop back into place.

"Well don't do that again, if it doesn't work the first time." She smiled at me as I rubbed my shoulder. "But anyways, there was a group photo of people who looked injured, with a lady wearing a crown in the centre. My great grandfather was in the photo and he was handicapped, but he was alive and died of cancer in his 60's." Maddy explained, going to one of the bodies and cutting off the shirt while my friends looked surprised, as I said, disrespectful to undress a corpse. She made a diy sling and put my arm in it and I rubbed my neck, good job me, managed to hurt myself by slamming into a door, not embarrassing at all.

"Well I don't think that's the case this time." Frank said, looking at the door before they all walked back and sat down. Maddy and I looked at each other before following and eating until we felt sick
