Justin pov

"Get up boy." Garret ordered me as grabbed me by the shirt and lifted me off the ground. I didn't want to do a damn thing he said but I didn't want another part of my body broken. I could no longer feel my left hand that Josh had crushed, if I don't get help then I might not ever be able to use it again.

After getting up, Garret leads me to the dining room and made me sit down at the table. Nora followed behind and made Ashley sit next to me. Nora then left for a minute or two and then returned to the table carrying rope. She handed some of the rope to Garret and they proceeded to tie us up.

"There, nice and cozy. Now, would you like something to eat? Sean didn't get to eat earlier so I could prepare something for you as well." Nora spoke.
"You would probably poison ours!" Ashley yelled furiously, but Nora only smiled. "Oh dear, we never poison our guests...we prefer killing them nice and slowly ourselves."
Then, from the living room area, I could hear a voice call out, "Mom, could you heat up my dinner so I can eat?!" Must have been Sean.
"Of course darling!" Nora answered and headed for the kitchen, and Garret followed right behind her.

"Justin, I'm scared." I heard Ashley whimpered. So am I, is what I wanted to tell her. These people came straight out of a horror movie and we are the dumb kids that run around and slowly get killed off.

"I know Ashley, but Hunter is out there. Hell, he probably has already made it to town and is fixing to head back with the police!" I said with confidence.

"What if they are too late? I don't want to die!" Annnd the water works have started.
"We have to stay positive; we will all get out of here. I promise." Though I wish I could take that promise back.

Alex pov

I will never be able to watch Loony Toons again after all that has happened. I never wanted to be here in the first place anyways. Tears filled my eyes as I could only imagine all of our fates. Killing my friends and 'adopting' me. Now most people might see my fate as an act of kindness, but I would rather be dead than stay with these people.

Suddenly, I felt a thumb run across my cheek, collecting the tears that spilled from my eyes. I turned to see Seth being the one to touch me and I cowered away.
He grinned and leaned in close and whispered, "Don't be scared, we won't hurt you."

He was quickly pushed away by Gage, "Leave her alone you bastard!" Gage snarled.
Sean held Gage down to make sure he didn't pull another stunt like that again.
"I can't wait to end you. You have done nothing but got on my nerves." Seth snapped.
Before Gage could retort, we were called to the dining room for dinner.

Wait, it's ten fifteen, shouldn't they be going to sleep? I mean, I would understand Sean eating, but everyone else?

The twins stood up and brought Gage and I into the dining area. The same meal as earlier was laid out for everyone, including me. The only difference is that there are two vector trays (1) at the end of the table. I wonder what's under the lid. I also took notice that Hunter and Ashley were tied down at their chairs with Nora trying to feed them.

"Well, go on and sit down." Garret ordered as he started to eat.

We sat down but I didn't dare touch my food, I am sick to my stomach and I'm already fighting to keep my earlier meal down.

Suddenly, the two dogs outside started barking their head off.

"What do you think is their problem?"Nora asked

"Probably another deer. Don't worry about it." Garret reassured

"When do you think Josh will be back? I really want to know who and what the hell you are! " Justin exclaimed and moved his head from Nora.

"What are you going on about?" She sighed.

"Josh said he would tell us everything before we, you know, die. Can you explain things?" Justin pressed.

"You want to know who and what we are? Ok, we are cannibals, more or less." She explained as if she was talking about the weather.

I paled as did everyone else as the information hit us like a ton of bricks. I looked at the meat that we all had on our plates and started to feel sick.

"Well, Garret and the boys are, I am a Windego. Don't worry, I am more civilized than my ancestors." She said with a grin.
"So the meat we are eating...it's...it's......" Justin stammered.

"Why don't I just show you..." Nora said as she lifted the dome like tops of the trays to reveal two heads. One was the girl that went missing, Courtney, and the other was an unknown male.(2)
Everyone, aside from the family, started spitting out whatever saliva and food bits they had in their mouth.

"Cut that out! It's hard to get food to this table so you should appreciate this!" Nora scolded them.

"Why don't you just eat regular meat?! Why do you have to eat humans?!" Ashley yelled franticly, while wiggling around in her bonds.

"That would be a good idea, but for us, anything not human just doesn't taste good." Garret cut in with a grin.

However that grin was cut short when a gun went off, glass breaking and something red seeped through his clothes.
It took a few seconds to understand what had just happened. Garret had been shot!

"Garret!""Dad!" Nora, Sean and Seth screamed. They jumped up from their chairs and ran to catch him before he fell out of his chair.

I quickly grabbed a knife from the table and started to undo Justin and Ashley's while they were morning for their lost family member.

More shots soon rained through the house as the twins and Nora was shot.

The twins seemed lifeless but Nora, however, didn't seem affected by it. She turned her head towards the area the bullets came from and stood up.

She stood and the most disturbing thing started to happen. She started changing. Two deer like antlers protruded from her head, her fingers elongated and had sharp nails at the tips. Her teeth turned sharp and her eyes turned black. She truly looked like something out of a horror movie.

"Who. F**king. Shot. My. FAMILY!" She hissed in a distorted voice.
The front door was suddenly busted in and there stood their savior.

Hunter........We are so dead!

"Let my friends go you b**ch!" He shouted as he aimed a gun at Nora.

Her face twisted as she sneered at him; that's when she took charge. Hunter cocked the gun and fired, unfortunately, he was out of ammo.

Nora had jumped on Hunter and started wailing on him. I racked my brain for an idea when one hit. I turned to the table and grabbed one of the chairs. I ran to the two and swung the chair down onto Nora's back, knocking her off of Hunter.

He was covered his blood, his flesh was torn in various places and he was in terrible need of a doctor.
I looked back to Nora as she got back up and looked at me. I gulped, now scared that
I would meet the same fate as my friend. She started towards me, a murderous gaze on her face, this was no longer Nora. This was a beast ready to feed.

I closed my eyes preparing for the worst.

Nothing happened though. I slowly opened my eyes to see a knife sticking through her skull. She collapsed to the ground, dead, revealing the person who stabbed her, which was Gage.

He walked around Nora's body and pulled me into a hug. I burst into tears, thankful we lived.
"We need to leave this hell hole, now!" I heard Hunter say as he staggered to stand. We all nodded and helped him up and started to make our way back to town.

~Mini Timeskip~
We had made it back to town and got the police. We informed them of the five dead murderers, one being somewhere in the woods and the rest was in the house. Hunter was taken care of right away and we able to fly back to our real homes the same night.

I made it home by six in the morning and crashed in my bed. Of course, after getting some rest, I told my parents everything. You can bet I won't be leaving this state or county for a long time.

~Present time~

It has been two days since our adventure and we were all back at The Traveling Capers, well, most of us. Yesterday we had a funeral (No bodies of course) for our friends. Ashley, surprisingly, has been relatively nice to me. Also, Gage and I started dating! He showed up at two in the afternoon, the day we came back, pulled me into a kiss and asked if he could be my boyfriend! Things seemed to be looking up.

THUMP

"Hey sweetie." Gage said as he pressed his lips to mine.
"Hey yourself." I laughed and looked at what he threw on my desk. "What's this?"
"I don't know, but Justin really wanted us to read it." Gage said as he sat in a seat next to me.
Wonder what it is. It better not be another case he wants to take. I read through until I got to a certain article. "Mysterious Disappearances Solved!" It was an article from the little town in Canada. I continued to read until I spotted something wrong.
"The mysterious disappearances of people has finally been solved! The cause was not wild animals but four murderers that lived within the forest..."

                      Four?  Don't they mean five?

Don't worry sweetie, Mommy is on her way to bring you home.

the Wendigo does not just die from a stab wound, I think you have to burn them or something and her kids did not inherit all of her abilities so they could die easily from a fatal wound. Garret is human so he died the easiest. The dogs were also taken to the shelter for anyone who wants to know. I couldn't find a place to add that since our heroine left before she knew what the police did to them.
