Mansion in the woods

Alex Pov
'Really Hunter?' I thought. "Forgive my friend, I know there is no excuse for his language but he was excited." I explained. "I'll let it slide for now." The woman said as she sat down on a red recliner. "Guys, this is my mom, Nora." Josh told us. "My dad and two siblings uh went out for a bit but they should be home for dinner. Speaking of which, are any of you hungry?" Josh asked as he looked at everyone. "I think we are good, can we please go look for that tire now?" Justin asked in an aggravated tone. "Your father has a few in the shed Josh, I'm sure he wouldn't mind your friends borrowing a tire until they get to town for a new one." The woman, Nora, said. "Thank you mama. The guys and I will take care of the vehicle; do you girls want to wait in here?" Josh asked us. "If it's alright, I'd like to stay here." I said, hoping it would be ok. "Of course dear! Oh you could help me make supper for tonight!" Nora said with excitement. I guess living with a bunch of males means you get no help in the kitchen. "Sure, I'd love to help!" I told her. I'm use to cooking all the time since both of my parents work a nine to five shift and I would help them out by already having dinner ready for them when they came home. "Well, I'm going with the boys. Something could happen while we are all out. Maybe we'll run into the killer." Sara said. "Killer? Oh no dear, I don't think you'll run into a killer out there." Nora said. "But the disappearances-""Doesn't mean they were killed, the police never recovered a body. They were probably just kidnapped and sold to some perverted individual" Nora commented cutting Hunter off. "They did recover something though, A head. The head of Garen Barsamian. He was here a few months ago on vacation from Ohio. He booked a hotel for a few nights in this town. When he didn't come back home, his family called and questioned the police to check in on him. When they got to the hotel they asked the lady at the desk if she knew where he was. The hotel lady said that he went out one night and didn't come back. The police searched for him for days and then called it off when finding his head. The coroner said that his head was severed by something sharp, like a knife." Justin explained. He really did study this case. "And then just yesterday a girl was taken from her home." Justin finished. I looked towards the woman and caught a glimpse of something in her eyes. There was a tense silence but thankfully Gage broke it, "Uh, Josh, care to show us to the shed?" ( 

) "Alright let's go." Josh told them as he stood and headed for the door. Everyone followed but me. "Alex we'll be right back ok?" Gage said. "Ok, I'm just going to party with my new friend." I said, referring to Nora with a smile. "Don't worry dear, she's in good hands." Nora told him, and, as if emphasizing what she meant, She grabbed my hand and patted the top if it. We waved and then closed the door. "Now just follow me into the kitchen and we'll go ahead and get started." "Ok" I told her.
Their Kitchen was awesome! They had nice marbled floors and the Island counter was marble. It was a very spacious kitchen, like those really nice ones you see on TV. ()

"I think Garret said he wanted steak tonight, so if you wouldn't mind getting the sheet pan out from under the oven. And in the fridge we will need the Dales sauce. I'll go get the meat." Nora said and then she walked out of the kitchen. 'Is the meat not inside the refrigerator?' I thought, but shrugged it away. As I was getting the Dales, I heard something. Almost as if it was someone was trying to muffle their screaming. I was focusing really hard on the sound that I didn't hear anyone come in until they spoke, "Who are you?" I have never moved as fast as I did in order to turn around. Two guys, Twins, were standing behind me and they didn't look to friendly. Oh man, now I wish I would have stayed with my friends. "We'll ask again" one of them started, "Who are you?" the other one finished. "H-hi, I'm A-Alex." I said stuttering. These two are intimidating. They walked towards me and I took a step back. They stopped and looked at each other then back at me. "Are you with Josh?" one asked. "Yea, me and a couple of my friends. Heh our van kind of blew a tire about a mile from here and they went to go get a tire from Mr. Williams shed." I said. Then a smile lit their face and to be honest, it was kind of creepy. "Oh! Then please forgive us for our interrogation! My name is Seth and this is my brother Sean." Seth told me. "Haha I think she can tell that we are brothers. Any who, why aren't you with your friends?" Sean asked. "I really didn't want to go in the woods and besides, I'm helping your mom cook." I explained.
"Really?" Sean asked. "Mom never lets guests into the kitchen! You must've made quite the impression." Seth finished. I blushed, "Not that I can think of." I told them. "Speaking of her, I hope she's ok. She went to go get some steak for the grill and she's been gone a while." I said absentmindedly. "Oh well, we'll go check on her. You continue what you were doing before we rudely interrupted you." Sean said and then they both left. I got a bad feeling.

Basement
10 minutes earlier
Nora pov
I walked down to our little basement area to get some fresh meat. Everyone likes it fresh right? Opening a little secret door lead me into a room where little Courtney was sitting very calmly in the chair in nothing but her undergarments. I think the rope tying her to said chair is really what's making her behave. Ever since she tried to escape I decided to show her the error of her ways. Garret brought her back and we took her here to our basement. I rubbed salt on what was left of her arm which helped stop the bleeding and made it painful at the same time. "Wake up dear." I told her as I walked to a table that held all sorts of little toys. "Mmmmmppppfff!" She screamed. I'm really glad she has a gag on, especially today. "Now, now, there's no reason to throw a fit. We have guests and I want you to behave."  "mmmppphhff"  she tried to scream again and started thrashing harder for some reason. I found my toy for the day. My new stainless steel meat cleaver. Garret went out and bought me a new one for this purpose. Before I had a chance to try it out Seth and Sean barreled through the door. "Mom!" they yelled in unison. "Calm down boys, what's wrong?" I asked. "Um, the girl upstairs said you had been down here for a while, we didn't want her to snoop around so we told her we would check on you." Seth told me. "She's so sweet. Did you two like her?" I asked, already ignoring the girl. "Yea, she seems really nice. Do you...Do you think she could be the one?" Sean asked hopefully. "I believe so, but I want to spend a little more time with her to make sure. You said she was getting worried because I was taking a while?" I asked them and they nodded. "Well then here," I said and handed Seth the cleaver, "you two finish getting the meal ready. Seth will cut the meat and Sean you will bring up the cuts while your brother showers. And don't take too long." I told them and started to head back to Alex. She did meet the criteria and she is exactly how I imagined my daughter. I had finally gotten back up the steps and looked inside the kitchen. Alex was still there and being a good girl. "I'm sorry for taking so long dear but I couldn't figure out where Garret had put the steaks. I looked all in our freezer but oh well, I'm so glad you asked the boys to check on me because now I have them looking." I told her. "Why don't we head back to the living room and watch some TV." I said. "Ok, sounds good to me." She said.

~Meanwhile~
Basement
Seth Pov
"MMMMMPPPPPPHHHHHFF!" Courtney tried to scream. "Will you stop squirming? I could do this quicker if you held still." I said swinging the cleaver down on her left leg just above the knee again. I've already hit the spot twice and now the leg is just barley connected to her body. I'll have to shower three times before I confront our guest's tonight with how much blood she has gotten on me.  "Are you having a hard time brother?" Sean asked. "Of course not, I'm having loads of fun." Sarcasm coated my words. I finally severed her leg and put it in the little bucket behind me. I then grabbed a smaller knife, like the one you use when you clean the fish of its scales. I grabbed her thigh and slid the knife upwards, skinning her thigh. All the while her muffled screams filled the room. After pushing mama down and trying to escape, no one treated her nice. She should have behaved and her death could have been quicker. Then again, I'm glad she did that because this is more fun than hunting.

After skinning her thigh and putting all the meat in the bucket I grabbed the salt we leave down there and dumped it all over the rest of her now nub thigh and then bandaged it.  She screamed, or at least tried to the whole time. I cleaned the meat up and put it in a Ziploc bag. "Go put this in the counter in the kitchen and tell mom it's ready for her."  I told Sean. "Alright, then we can hunt for the bastard again before dinner." He said. "I can't believe we are still playing cat and mouse with him. I'm getting bored with it now so can we just catch him this time?" "Fine, I guess we can. Let me get cleaned up first and I'll meet you outside." I said.
