If you are from kolkata, then you might have heard about this incident that took place in your city recently.

A 87 yr old patient died natural death in kolkata's medical college and guess what, the doctor's were blamed for his death. Ok, instead of filing death due to negligence case in court the relatives of deceased attacked the doctors, interns and medicos. You can see in the pic how badly they injured the interns ...

As i future doctor, i am really afraid for my future. Is this how patient's relatives are suppose to behave with doctors? Ek taraf doctors ko bhagwaan ka darjaa dete ho and dusri taraf ye sab?

First thing. Doctor's are not god. We never claimed ourselves to be god. This is you who made us god. And now you expect us to waive a magic wand and save your life... Doctors hai hum koi jadugar nhi jo chhadi ghoomate barabar patient theek kar denge...

A doctor tries his best to save his patient. No doctor would like to see his patient die in front of his eyes. Do you even have a slightest idea of how helpless a doctor feels when he fails to save his patient ?

Blaming doctor's is in so much trend today.... Bukhar ki dawaai khane ki baad sir dard hua to bola jata hai doctor ne dawaai galat dii... Sala hum mar mar ke paach saal isiliye nhi padhte ki patient ko galat dawai likh k de...

I agree all doctor's are not same. Some are black spot on the names of doctors. But for the offence committed by the fistful of bogus doctor's why the innocent ones like medicos and interns have to suffer? Why do the patients relatives have to take law in their hands to punish doctors.

If u don't know, Laws do exist for the criminal or civil negligience caused by doctors that lead to bodily injury/death of patient. Sec 304 A of IPC deals with Criminal negligence.

Let the law decide we are at fault or not...

If you want to become doctor, or if you wish to make your son/daughter doctor, then please change your decision. Becoz gya wo zamana jab doctors ko patient bhagwaan ka darza dete the...ab to patients direct "saale thik karta hai ki du ek?" bolkar jate hai...

We don't ask you to treat us like God. Atleast treat us like humans.....
