Shravan : Look who is complaining. Let me remind u pushkar u took 2 hours to get ready on your engagement day..(smiling)

Pushkar : but bhaiya, I must say u r looking very handsome in this sherwani. I m sure today sumo won't Be able to take off her eyes from you.

Shravan : shut up chhote...(blushing)

Shravan : Then in that case u will have to thank sumo......because I really have a tough time convincing her ......finally she agreed....

TIWARI KILLA

Preeti : dii. Today u r getting engaged And look at u. No makeup nothing....(complaining)

Suman : preeti u know very well , I don't like makeup. 

Preeti : but di at least for today....please....(convincing her)

Sum an : OK fine. But on one condition. You won't do my makeup. I will do it myself. Just help me in selecting jwelleries.

Preeti : As you wish.

Suman goes near the dresser. She combs her hairs, applies minimal makeup, eyeliner, darkens her baby pink lipstick. She wears the earrings selected by preeti and puts a small sparkling bindi on her forhead between her eyebrows.

Preeti : wow dii. U r looking stunning . you r gonna kill shravan with your killer looks....(pulling her legs)

Suman : stop teasing me preeti.

Preeti : OK OK dii. Now I m leaving. Call me if u need anything. But please be in your room. Don't come down unless I tell u to do so.....

Suman : OK

IN THE LIVING ROOM

Nanu and others were sitting in the living room discussing about tonight's function when ramnath comes there with a man. 

Nanu : Ramnath ....come...we were discussing about today's function. Good u are here.

Ramnath : tiwariji . Even I wanted to talk to you about it....

Nanu : then go ahead.....

Ramnath : Actually.... Meet him ...he is Delhi's  best wedding planner....I have hired him for shravan and suman's marriage. (Pointing towards the man he brought with him)

Nanu : There is no need of it......we will manage.

Ramnath : I know tiwariji but shravan is my only son. All that I have earned is only for shravan. Mai uski shaadi me Koi kami nahi rakhna chahta.....(holding Manu's hand)

Nanu : Fine ramnath I won't stop you....because like every father you may also have dreamt of your son's wedding. Mai samajh Sakta hu bahot Armaan honge tumhare......

Ramnath : thank u tiwariji for understanding me....

Nanu : No need to thank because now we are relatives.....

Ramnath and nanu hug each other......

EVENING.......

Pushkar knocks the door of shravan's room....

Bhaiyaa...Aap taiyaar ho .....Hame nikalna hai....jaldi Karo.....

Shravan opens the door and comes out...

Shravan: Chalein...chhote...

Pushkar : Ha chaliye....All are ready....Your sumo is waiting for u...(smirking)

Shravan : beshram.....Tu nahi sudhregaa

Pushkar : don't worry bhaiyaa...aapke saath saath mujhe sudhaarne wali bhi aa rahi hai....

TIWARI KILLA

The malhotra's arrive at tiwari killa....Mamiji and mamaji welcomes them....The tiwari killa is beautifully decorated with pink curtains and garlands .....No doubt the decorators did their job really very well.....

Nanu comes there and hugs shravan....

Daboo : Shravan bhaiyaa I mean jiju........Aap bahot handsome lag rahe ho......Ye red rose aapke liye.....   

Shravan : thank u so much daboo....(pulling his cheeks)

Nanu : shravan u sit here.... I will send someone to call suman.

Shravan :Ya nanu....

AFTER SOMETIME

pushkar : bhaiyaa....Aa jayegi .You know sumo Ko wait karvaa ne ki aadat hai....

Shravan : I hope shaadi ke baad iski ye aadat badal Jaye....otherwise I don't know how long she will make me wait after marriage.. ..(murmuring under his breathe)

Pushkar : bhaiyaa...kuch kaha....

Shravan : Nahi to....

Pushkar : Vo dekho aapki sumo aa gayi......(excited)

Shravan looks up....Suman was wearing a pink anarkali paired with long earrings and Bracelet....she was looking no less than a princess in minimal makeup.....She was descending the stairs....... there was darkness in the hall and all lights were focused on her.....Shravan was mesmerized by her beauty.....He was lost in her eyes....She stood near him. He couldn't believe the girl Whom he loved since his childhood is going to be his. 

Kamini : Chalo ji....ab to suman Bhi aa gayi. Ab rasam shuru kare....

Mamiji : Ji bilkul. Preeti ja angoothiya  le aa...

Mamiji puts tilak on suman and shravan's forehead. 

Kamini : Shravan puttar chalo ab suman Ko angoothi Pehna do.

Suman forwards her hand. Shravan holds her hand. She shifts her gaze towards him....Shravan slides a beautiful diamond ring in her finger not breaking the eye contact even for once....She smiles.

Kamini : Shravan puttar ab tum haath aage badhao. 

Shravan forwards his hands and suman slides a platinum ring in his finger. Shravan smiles looking at her. She feels shy and looks down. 

Everyone claps for them.
Kamini : Ab tum dono ek dusre ko mithai khilao.....
Shravan and suman feeds the sweet to each other.....Preeti distributes sweets to everyone.......They take blessings of the elders.

Shravan and suman are sitting on sofa.....Vandy comes near suman.

Vandy : Suman show me your ring.

Suman shows her ring to vandy bhabi.

Vandy : ohh...its very pretty just like u.....

Suman : thank u bhabhi.

Vandy : Shravan won't u show me your ring...

Shravan : why not bhabhi....(smiling)

Shravan forwards his hand and vandy sees his ring.....

Vandy : Suman don't mind baby......but shravan's ring is not  expensive...I mean it is very simple....

Suman's face suddenly became pale....All her happiness died for a moment......

FLASHBACK

MAMIJI : Suman what are u doing here in kitchen.....Go n get ready....You have to go to the jwellers to buy the engagement rings.....Shravan is coming to pick u up..

Suman : ji mamiji.....

Suman was about to go when mamiji held her hand to stop her....

Mamiji : Actually beta I want to talk to you...

Suman : say....

Mamiji : U know our financial condition.... You and preeti both are getting married on same day...We are not as rich as malhotras....We can't afford expensive things...so please don't select expensive ring for Shravan..... Shravan is rich ....He dont need expensive ring....Go for a simple one....Hamare paise Bach jayenge.....

Suman : thik hai mamiji....(with unhappiness spread on her face)

Shravan shakes her.....Suman comes out of flashback....

Shravan : what happened????

Suman : No....Nothing....(avoiding his gaze)

Shravan : Actually I know what is bothering you.... Just remember what I said you in the shop.....

He interwingle his fingers with hers.....She smiles.....

FLASHBACK

AT THE SHOP

Shravan : Sumo.....I have selected two rings for you....which one u liked...this or this....(holding two rings in his hand.....)

Suman : Shravan.....its diamond ring.....its very expensive..... 

Shravan : just tell me whether you liked it or not.....

Suman : Actually I loved it...but I can't....

Shravan : we decided na...that I will choose ring for you and you will choose for me....

Suman : Ya but.....

Shravan : what I said yesterday....no more ifs and buts.....

Suman smiles....

Shravan : So this diamond ring for engagement and this emerald ring  as a wedding gift to my best friend....

Suman nods yes.....

Suman : Shravan u stay here....I will come in 2 minutes....

Shravan : OK...

Suman goes to the counter....She removes gold earrings from her ears....

Suman : Excuse me....Actually I want to sell these earrings....

Guy :Mam let me check it first....

Suman : How much I will get in Return of it.......

Guy :  20,000 mam....

Suman : OK 

Guy : Mam u wait here....I will come with the money.....

The guy goes towards another section.Suman's phone ring and she goes out to receive the call.....

The guy comes with the money...but he is unable to find Suman .....so he goes near Shravan....

Guy : Excuse me sir....

Shravan : Yes...

Guy : Actually can u tell me where is the lady who came with u...I told her to wait near the counter but she isn't there.......

Shravan : Is there any problem.... You can tell me...I m her would be husband....

The guy hands the envelope to Shravan

Guy : Sir she sold her earrings...so bas ye usii ke paise hai...

Shravan : what ???(shocked). Are u sure....
Guy : yes sir.
Shravan: Do one thing. We don't need money...give me her earrings back.

Guy : But sir.....

Shravan : Do as I said.....(angrily)

Guy returns her earrings ....Suman is standing near the counter waiting for the guy when Shravan immediately grabs her hand and drags her outside the shop....

Suman : Shravan......what r u doing....leave me....

Shravan : And what were u doing..... Selling your earrings....(with a straight face)

Suman : Shravvv.....

Shravan : No Suman....let me complete...... You needed money.....you could have asked me....But no...Suman tiwari dont need anyone's help....Your ego oh. ...sorry sorry what u call it " self- respect"  wont allow you to take my help.....Tum to Suman ho......Khud se hi shaadi kar logi aur bacche Bhi bina Meri help Ke khud hi paidaa Kar logi.....(shouting on her)

Suman : Shravan....are u mad.... What are u saying....(embarrassed)

Shravan : I have gone mad sumo......because you always let your ego to come between us.....

Suman : Mai tumse madat kaisi maangti....Kya kehti Ki mujhe tumhare liye engagement ring kharidne ke liye paise chahiye.....

She started crying

Suman....shh shhhh......don't cry......chalo Rona band Karo....

He said caressing her face......

Suman : tumne mere liye diamond ring li....aur Maine tumhare liye ek simple si ring.....(crying)

Shravan : sumo....what's the difference......pricetags cant decide how much I love u.....

Mere liye tumne Jo ring lo hai na vo priceless hai........So don't even dare to call it a simple ring because it is special for me........
Accha tell me your love for me is equivalent to how many diamond rings.......
One....two .......three......thousand.....
She stood there quite not knowing what to answer......
Shravan : Nahi naa.......kyuki pyaar ki koi kimat nahi hoti......Maine tumhaare lite diamond ring lisliye kharidi because I saw a unique shine in your eyes when your eyes fell on that ring.....So I thought u liked it......

Suman : I know u r saying this out of sympathy.......sorry Shravan

She hugs him tightly....

Sorry I can't give u anything....

Shravan: ( kissing her forehead) .....who said you that u can't give me anything...... 

You can give me your love

You can give me emotional support when needed.......

And morever......I m not Suman tiwari . I cant do everything alone....so I will need your help.....

Suman : kisliye.....(confused)

Shravan : Vo Kay hai na Sumo ......

He lifts her chin with his fingers and make her look in his eyes.......He leans towards her face......and whispers in her ears......

Mai akele bacche paidaa nahi kar saktaa.....

Her face turns red in embarrassment......

Shravan : you stay here......I will make the payments......

Shravan goes inside the shop leaving behind Suman who's cheeks were resembling the color of tomato.......

Suman comes out of flashback when daboo holds her and shravan's hand.......

Daboo : Di aap dance nahi karogi......

Suman : No Daboo......you enjoy ...mera man nahi hai......(upset)

Aise kaise dance nahi karegi.......

Comes a voice from behind....Suman and shravan looks at the owner of the voice.......its pushkar.....

Bhaiyaa.....aapki shaadi hone wali hai......to sumo wrestler.....(he bites his tongue) .....

I  mean Suman bhabhi ke saath ek couple dance to banta hai.....

Kamini : (to herself) Ye aacha mauka hai ramnath bhaisaab ko mazaa sikhane ka......

Shravan puttar Hume Bhi  tumhara dance dikhao.....

Shravan holds suman's hand.....

Suman : Shravan....Kay Kar rahe ho.......at least u try to understand........(nervous)

Shravan don't listen to her and brings her in the center of the hall...

Shravan : lights off please.......

Suddenly all lights turn off.....its completely dark.....A light placed in the center of hall turns on.....its focusing on Shravan and Suman.....
shravvv....please nahi.....nanu hai......nanu ke saamne .....she said nervously

Shravan keeps his finger on her lips......

Shravan : sshhhhh.....Koi nahi hai.......aisa samjho.....sirf Mai hu aur tum ho......
Suman blushes......
Pushkar plays the music.......

Shravan holds her hand and puts it on his shoulder....
She encircle her another hand around his neck.....

HUA HAI AAJ PEHLI BAAR
JO AISE MUSKURAYA HU.......

He helds her by waist and pulls her towards him......

TUMHE DEKHA TO JAANA YE
KE KYU DUNIYA ME AAYA HU....

He sways her with the music.They move back and forth......

YE JAAN LEKAR KE JAA MERI
TUMHE JEENE MAIN AAYA HU....
He turns her and hugs her from the back

MAIN TUMSE ISHQ KARNE KI
IJAZAT RAB SE LAAYA HU....

He inhales her fragrance and lifts her....she closes her eyes.....

ZAMEEN SE AASMAA TAK HUM.....
DHUND LAAYE JAHA SAARA......

Shravan twirls her into a circle and makes her to face him......
He slowly lifts her chin...

BANAA PAYAA NAHI AB TAK
KHUDA TUMSE KOI PYARA....

She smiles shyly and pushes him....
BAATO ME TERI HAI BADMAASHIYAAN......
SAB BEWAJA KI HAI TARIFIYAAN.......

She tries to free herself but Shravan holds her hand firmly not giving her a single chance to run away.....He again twirls her......

MAIN LIKHDU AASMA PAR YE.......
KI PADH LEGA JAHA SAARA......
 
He places his chin on her shoulder giving her goosebumps........

HUA NA HOGA AB KOI
YAHA HUM DO SA DOBARA.......

Shravan makes her turn and pulls her more tightly towards him.....Her front crushes with his manly chest.....
MAIN DUNIYA BHAR KI TAARIFE
TERE SAJDE ME LAAYA HU......
MAI TUMSE ISHQ KARNE KI
IJAZAT RAB SE LAYA HU

Suman rests her head on shravan's shoulder....her one hand is interlocked with his hand and another hand is placed on his shoulder......
MAI TUMSE ISHQ KARNE KI....
IJAZAT RAB SE LAAYA HU......
RAB SE LAYAA HU......

Shravan and suman are lost in each other And the music ends here.....
Everyone claps for them.... 
Suman comes back in her senses, realizes their position and immediately withdraws herself from him....
Pushkar whistles.....
Shravan smiles looking at his brother's excitement.....
After the dance the malhotra's and tiwari's had their dinner together..... Shravan and Suman got some more time to spend together......
ON THE TERRACE
Shravan : sumo you didn't gave me any complement about my looks.....
Suman : hmm.....Thik thaak lag rahe ho......
Shravan: You are looking very beautiful sumo.......I can't stop adoring you......vo kya hai na Mai taarif karne me tumhare jaisi kanjusi nahi karta.....
Suman smiles......
Shravan : Suman mujhe ye samaj nahi aa raha hai ki aaj Kal tum Meri baate itni jaldi kaise maan jaati ho........
Suman : Vo shaadi ke baad zindagi bhar tumhari baate maanani padegi na to Maine abhi se rehearsal shuru kar di hai....(shyly).
Shravan smiles......
They hear pushkar's voice.....
Bhaiyaa jaldi chalo.....Sumo se baad me baat Kar Lena afterall 2 din baad vo hamesha ke liye aapke paas hi aa rahi hai.....
Abhi k liye yaha is chaliye....All are waiting for u......
Kabab me haddi......Shravan murmurs under his breathe....
Suman laughs......
Pushkar : bhaiyaa you said something......
Shravan : Nothing chhote.....
Pushkar : I heard it.....
Shravan : chhote we are getting late....let's go.....
They come downstairs.... Kamini gives wedding outfit to Suman....
Kamini : Suman puttar ye lo tumhara shagun....

She accepts it....
Suman: jii chachiji...
Suman accompanies Shravan till his car.....Shravan sits inside his SUV and waives his hand to say good bye to sumo.....
The malhotra's drive back to their mansion.....
