Chapter :- 21

"Kia poocha tha??" He asked her.

"Acha mai pooch rhi thi k aap ki thakan dur hoi??" She asked with worried look.

"Haan meri jaan ho gayi" Manik chuckled.

After that they talked and talked. They talked about every little thing. Mostly Nandini talked and Manik listened to her as if everything she was saying was very important.

"Nandu ... tomorrow be ready ok " Manik said when he saw that Nandu was close to dosing off. She
immediately sat straight in attention.

"Ready kyu?? Hum kahin ja rahai hai ??" She asked excitedly as if she was not at all dosing off a minute ago.

Manik chuckled with amusement -

"No baby .... we are not going anywhere" Manik said and Nandu made a sad pout.

" but we will surely go some other day" Manik said after a pause.

"Haan yai sahi hai " Nandu immediately perked up.

"But kal hum party mai ja rahai hain. Aunty to already invited hain but you will come with me" Manik
said and Nandini only nodded to his words with a big smile.

"Manik party hai to uss k liye mujhe achi si dress pehn k ready hona parai ga na?" Nandini said in a
thoughtful tone and Manik also raised his eyebrows with a thoughtful look.

"Baat to sahi hai " Manik said mentally laughing.

"Hainaa... baat to mai nai sahi ki hai ... to ab ??" Nandini said in a total serious tone and Manik just
wanted to gobble up this bundle of cuteness.

"Hmmm ... sochna parai ga" Manik said and for some minutes there was complete silence and Nandu was looking at Manik continuously in anticipation with raised brows waiting for him to speak.

Manik looked at her raised his brows.

"Socha??" Nandini asked in a whisper.

"Aap nai socha??" Manik questioned back.

"Soch hi to rhi thi ..... silly " Nandini said as a matter of fact.

"To phir kia socha??" Manik asked her in a duh tone. Listening his tone nandu narrowed her eyes at
him.

"Socha tha par koi soch nhi aai ... isi liye to aap sai poocha budhu .... aik to aap ko choti choti baat
bhi samjhani parti hai ..... Ufff kia karoon mai aap ka" Nandini said being sassily over dramatic.

"Acha ji" Manik said raising his brow and Nandu nodded with a 'aur nhi to kia' wala look.

"Manik acha batain na aap nai kia soocha??" Nandini again asked suddenly being normal.

"Mai nai already socha hoa hai .... kal meri princess ka dress aa jai ga ... aur app tak puhnch bhi jay ga. Aur sham tak be ready. " Manik said lovingly and nandu grinned at him excitedly.

"Chalo now sleep .... I am watching you" Manik said in a soft tone and nandu immediately laid down
and closed her eyes.

After a minute she opened her one eye and looked at him and said -

"Manik"

"Ji Manik ki jaan"

"Muuahhh" she said with a kissing face and closed her eyes while blushing and Manik heart warmed
at her innocent acts.

After that she was slept in no time and Manik watched her sleeping with a smile on his face.

NANDINI'S POV :-

Umm.....

I am ready and now I am staring at myself in the mirror.

I have never wore anything like this. Its a long gown that is tight till my waist and flowy after that.

And it's BACKLESS.......

Aiyappa...

mujhe itni sharam aa rhi hai.

I am shying by only looking at myself in mirror.

Sab kai saamnai mera kia ho ga??

Manik kia sochenge!!

My inner self mocked and I bit my lip at my stupidity.

I pouted and gave myself an overall view. I have never wore anything as such. Everyone will stare at
me.

"Manik ko nhi pata kiya?? Mai aisai kaprai thori pehnti hoon??" I said looking at floor. I moved towards my bed and slumped on it. I was sitting there with a constant pout when I heard the words being spoken. I yelped at this sudden act.

"Array Manik ko kaisai nhi pata ho ga kai uski jaan kia pehnti hai".

There he stood looking beautiful....

Seriously nandu......

My inner self again mocked and I frowned with a small pout looking at Manik.

"Kia hoa??" He asked while raising his brow and I shook my head and smiled at him.

He forwarded a packet.

"Yai kia hai??" I asked while opening it.

"Yai aap ka real dress hai" he said with a smile.

"Hainn???" I questioned confused.

"Array jo dress mai nai select kia tha na apni princess kai liye ... wo galti sai change ho gaya to ab mai aap k liye asli wala laya hoon" he said and I smiled shyly at him and looked at the dress in the packet.

It was a beautiful royal blue gown with netted Work from top giving a little off  shoulder Touch.

It's beautiful....

Mai princess lagoon gi....

I squealed looking at it and immediately stood up and looked in the mirror. Manik was standing behind me.

He was having a clear view of her bare back.....

MANIK'S POV :-

Aww my cute baby....

Seriously Manik ....

you are actually awing....

But chal koi masla nhi as long as it's nandu.

I was still standing there when suddenly my gaze moved to her bare back and my breath stopped.

Hmm....

Now that's something I was craving to see....

My desirous part spoke as my gaze traveled all over her back.

I took slow steps towards her and my only mission was to touch her milky back.

I stood just behind her and looked at her in eyes. The eyes that were once shining with mirth were now looking at me with a little desire, confusion and maybe love.

Maybe she recognized the look in my eyes. She was breathless and her normally rosy cheeks were
now more red if that was even possible.

I traced my fingers lightly on her spine and she shivered and her gaze moved down in shyness.
