Chapter :- 18

"Hmm ..khud" she again said while nodding and her voice was hoarse. Manik knew better not to ask
her.

He was going to get his answers from Aunty but know he needed to distract her.

He reached near his car and made her sit in the seat and when he was moving away she clutched his
arm.

"Manik?"

"Haan bas mai aa raha hoon .... aap baitho" he said and hurriedly moved to the other side.

Manik sat in the car and started driving. He looked at her and she was silently staring outside.

"Nandini" he called her but she didn't replied.

"Acha Nandini.... meri cookies kahan hain? " he asked to distract her and she looked at him and then
at the still packed cookies in her lap.

She was just staring at her lap when Manik said -

"Itni bhook lagi hai ...." he said and looked at her from the corner of his eyes.

"Bhook lagi hai?" Nandini asked in a meek voice.

"Haan bht" Manik said with a fake innocent pout. Nandini smiled at his pout and immediately opened the pack and Manik stopped the car at a side.

Nandini gave one cookie to him and looked at his face. Manik took one bite of the cookie and looked at Nandini.

She raised her eyebrows asking him about its tastes and he simply nodded his head to which she send a angry glare towards him.

"Bas sahi hai" he said adding more fuel to fire.

"Sahii .... seriously?" She said angrily and he innocently nodded.

"Aap ko pata bhi hai kuch?" She again thundered angrily and he shook his head.

"Mai world kai best nhi balkai bestest cookies banati hoon" she said with hand on her hips.

"Nandini bestest isn't even a word" Manik said to irritate her more.

"Humph.... like I care" Nandini said sassily and Manik raised his brow shockingly.

"The thing is ..... merai cookies are best sai bhi ziada achai " Nandini said with attitude and looked
outside with a angry pout.

Manik looked and her cute face and started laughing. Nandini looked at him with a open mouth and
wide eyes.

"Hawww.... hadd ho gai hai Manik ... aap ko bilkul bhi manners nhi hain na?" Nandini said grumpily
and Manik looked at her with a weird and confused face.

"Ismai manners kahaan sai aa gaye?" He said while frowning.

"Matlab aik to chori uppar sai seena zori....pehlai aap nai meray cookies k sath itna rude behave kia
phir you have the guts to laugh..... aur phir aap poochtai hain manners kahaan sai aay ... kisi pai
hasna is a very bad manner" she rambled in one breath and turned her face angrily.

Manik was looking at her with wide eyes. He started to say something when she said loudly.

"Nan......"

"Mai aap sai gussa hoon"

Again he said when she turned and said and again turned the other side

"Nan.."

"Mai app sai bht gussa hoon"

"Nan....."

"Mai aap sai bht ziada gussa hoon"
She again screamed at his face and turned the other side.

"Nan....." Manik said again.

"Mai aap sai bht bht....." she was again going to say when Manik stuffed a cookie in her mouth and
smiled triumphantly.

Nandini looked at him with wide eyes and soon they turned into angry glare.

She picked a cookie and
held Manik face from both side to stuff it in his mouth forcefully and he was struggling against her.

She touched it with his lips and forcefully stuffed inside his mouth. Half of it was outside and half
was inside his mouth.

She sat back in her seat with a satisfied and winning proud smile while Manik was sitting there
like a statue.

After a moment of silence Nandini looked at him from under her lashes and he also looked at her and both burst out laughing.

At that time there were only two pure souls deeply in love without the care of the world and the pains of their life.

This was a perfect moment.

Manik saw a complete new version of Nandini apart from her shy and naive nature she also was a cute tantrum queen.

Manik entered through the gates of orphanage with a sleeping Nandini cuddled in his arms. He had
already informed everyone and they were waiting for their arrival.

As soon as Manik entered the living room Swati immediately came towards them. Manik motioned
for everyone to keep quiet.

He took her to her room and laid her on the bed. He softly caressed her cheeks and she just hummed in her sleep getting comfortable on her bed.

After covering her with
blanket he came out of the room, not before pecking on her forehead.

"Kahaan thi Nandu Manik???" Swati questioned confused but now she was relieved that her daughter was safe.

"My Office " Came his reply and everyone was even more confused.

"She came to my office to give me her special chocolate chip cookies that she made for me " Manik
said with a small smile on his face. He was relieved that she was safe but he was a little angry also because of her dangerous stunt but after seeing her condition he was not able to scold his little baby.

"Awwwww" Aliya sighed dreamily.

"Chocolate Chip Cookies...... sooo cute" she exclaimed.

All smiled at this.

"But jo bhi uss nai kia bht dangerous tha" Cabir said and all nodded.

"Hmmm.... baat to shi hai .. aaj tak wo yahaan sai akeli bahir nhi gai aur aaj to iss nai mujhe dara hi dia tha" Swati said.

"Sab sai achi baat to yai hai k ab hamari bachi theek hai ... iss baat ko yahi khatam karo ...... koi ussai
kuch nhi kahai ga" Raj said in a firm tone.

"Haan .... waisai bhi meri bachi ka intention to bht innocent or pyaara tha" Nyonika said with a smile
and everybody nodded smilingly.

Everybody was busy in their talks but Manik was busy in his own thoughts.

Different horrible thoughts were plaguing his mind.

"Aaaa... swati aunty I wanted to talk about something with you in private " Manik said.

"Acha ... aao beta" first swati was confused but then she lead him towards her room.
