Manik was standing in front of Lord Ganesha joining his hands. He didn't realize when some tears rolled down his cheeks. He felt someone wiped his tears and shockingly it was Neonika.

Neonika:- You know Manik when I lost Pratik, I asked him why he took my son away from me? I was crying and asking for an answer when you came to me and hugged me tightly. Then I realized I was partial towards you. That's why God snatched my other son from me as my punishment.

Manik:- Why are you saying this to me now?

Neonika:- Because god does justice to all. Just have faith in him. Whatever happens, happens for a reason.

Manik:- Do you miss Pratik?

Neonika:- No.

Manik looked at her confusedly. She just smiled at him and said,

Neonika:- Because I have you. But Nandini doesn't have anyone and she loves her son a lot. If something happens to him she will die.

Manik:- (blankly) I know Mom.

At that time they heard Raj talking to the doctor. Manik and Neonika immediately rushed there.

Doctor:- Don't worry he is out of danger.

Raj:- Thank God.

Doctor:- But we might need blood from the same donor because the other's blood might be allergic to the baby.

Manik:- I will be right here.

Doctor:- But you are not healthy enough to donate your blood again and again.

Manik:- Don't worry about me. I will be fine.

Doctor:- Are you on medication?

Raj:- Yes.

Manik:- No.

Neonika:- Manik you aren't taking your medicines?

Manik:- No.

Doctor:- Okay don't take any kind of medicine right now. I am sending you a diet chart. Follow it properly.

Manik:- Okay.

Neonika:- Doctor how's Nandini? Bho thik to hai na?

Doctor:- Yes, she will be up soon. Please make sure she eats something.

Neonika:- Okay.

Doctor left and Raj said,

Raj:- (angrily) Manik since when are you skipping your medicines?

Manik:- Dad please, not now.

Manik went towards the ICU. He could see Aarav through the glass window. He was lying on the bed with many wires attached to his tiny body. His pale face twisted the knife on Manik's heart. Only he knew how he wished to see his smiling face again and play with his little buddy.
Then he went to Nandini's room and sat beside her. Glucose dips were attached to her hand. Manik was running his finger into her messed up hair lovingly. Slowly she gained consciousness and immediately sat on the bed.

Nandini:- (panicked) Mera beta kaha ha? Manik mujha mera beta chahiye. Please bring him to me.

Manik immediately hugged her tightly and said,

Manik:- Shhhh. Relax Nandini. He is absolutely fit and fine.

Nandini:- (crying) I want to see him. Please bring him to me.

Manik broke the hug and cupped her face as if she was a delicate glass doll, with little pressure and she would break into pieces.

Manik:- Nandini, look at me. I will bring him to you only if you eat something.

Nandini:- I don't want to eat anything. Please bring my son.

Manik:- (angrily) Nandini if you don't obey me then trust me I will take him away from you. Do you want me to do that?

Nandini:- (shouted) Noooo. I will do whatever you say. Please don't take my son away from me.

Manik:- (smirked) Good girl.

Manik called a nurse and told her to bring food for both of them. Then Manik made her eat with his own hands. Then took her in front of Aarav's room. They could see him through the glass window and Nandini broke into tears seeing her son laying on the hospital bed almost lifeless. Manik side hugged her, giving her much needed support. Right now they both looked like a perfect couple.

Manik:- (smiled) Don't worry he is a strong boy just like his Mum. He will be fine.

Manik was admiring that little boy smiling at the time but Nandini's words wiped his smile immediately.

Nandini:- Manik you won't take him away from me na? He is the only one I have. I will die without him. Please don't take him away from me.

Manik:- (sadly) I won't.

Saying this Manik left Nandini there and sat on a nearby chair. He looked at Nandini who was watching her son through the window forgetting the world around her.

Manik's pov:- I have ruined her so much that now she is scared of me. She thinks I will take her son away from her. Have I became a real monster as she used to say? Am I trying to snatch her son away from her? No no I have to stay away from them. Far far away.

At afternoon

Aarav was still unconcious. Manik forcefully made sure that Nandini don't skip her meals and he also followed the diet chart properly. At afternoon doctor called him for transferring his blood to Aarav as he needs more blood. But this time they will directly transfer the blood from Manik's body to Aarav's body as he can't receive huge amount of blood at once. So doctor arranged a bed beside Aarav's bed and told Manim to lay down as it will take time. Doctor attached an IV on his left hand which was supplying blood to Aarav's body and another IV drip of glucose was attached to his right hand so that he don't feel weakness by donating blood. Doctor left there for sometime and Manik kept looking at Aarav. He has decided once he won't be needed for Aarav he will leave and never try to come in front of his buddy. Nandini's insecurity has created havock in his heart. Tears were rolling down from his eyes and he let it flow. Within a few days he got so attached to his buddy that it was hurting him to even think to leave him.
