In Nandini's apartment

Nandini:- Aarav, come back here.

Aarav:- No no....

As usual Aarav was running and Nandini was running behind him with a plate of food. This boy is hyperactive. Making him eat is a tough job especially when he is cranky and craving for Momos.

Nandini:- (scared) Aarav careful.

Aarav was running towards the stairs when Nandini shouted to be careful. Aarav looked back at his mom when his leg slipped from the stairs and he fell down. His forehead got hit by a sharp corner of the stairs and started bleeding badly.

Nandini:- (shouted loudly) Aarav....

On the other side
In Malhotra Mansion

Manik was sitting with Raj in his study room and discussing some project when Neonika called them downstairs for dinner.

Manik:- Dad you go, I will come after arranging those files.

Raj:- Okay.

Raj left there but he forgot to take his phone with him. His phone was on the table and it was ringing. Manik noticed it was Nandini calling Raj and he ignored. But when he saw the phone continuously ringing he picked up the call and before he could say anything Nandini said,

Nandini:- (panting) Raj Uncle, bho Aarav....

Manik:- (panicked) Nandini it's me, Manik. Kya hua Buddy ko?

Nandini:- (crying) Manik he...he fell down from stairs. His forehead is bleeding, I...I don't know what to do.

Manik:- Hang on there, I am on my way.

Manik immediately went downstairs and grabbing his car keys he rushed towards the parking lot. Seeing him running like this, Raj and Neonika called him many times but he didn't listen to them.

Neonika:- (scared) Raj where is he going like this?

Raj:- I don't know.

Neonika:- Stop him please. Agar mera beta ko kuch ho gaya to mein mar jaongi. Sun rahe hai na ap? Mujhe Mera beta chahiye.

Raj:- Okay let's go.

Manik reached Nandini's apartment and found her crying holding Aarav in her arms. His forehead was bleeding badly. Manik ran to him and took him in his arms with shivering hands.

Manik:- (panicked) Buddy...hey hey... Open your eyes baby.

Nandini:- (still in shock) Manik he is...he is not opening his eyes.

Manik bent to hear his breathings. he smiled in relief and said,

Manik:- He is still breathing. Don't worry he will be alright. We...we need to take him to the hospital as soon as possible.

Manik immediately picked him up in his right arm and side hugged Nandini with his left arm.

Manik:- Let's go.

At Lifeline Hospital

Manik pushed the stretcher to the emergency room along with the word boys where Aarav was placed on when a nurse came and said,

Nurse:- I am sorry mam, but you are not allowed inside.

Nandini was restless seeing her son like that and wasn't leaving his hand. So Manik kept his hand on her shoulder and said,

Manik:- Nanadini let them take him inside, trust me he will be alright.

Nandini immediately hugged him tightly and said,

Nandini:- (crying badly) Manik...Manik promise me, promise me that you will bring him back to me absolutely fit and fine. I know you never break your promises. Promise me, Manik. Promise me....

Manik:- I promise, Nandini. I will bring him back to you absolutely fit and fine.

After sometime

Nandini was standing in a corner laying on a nearby wall closing her eyes, while Manik was continuously pacing here and there when Raj and Neonika came there. Neonika immediately hugged Nandini and tried to console her.

Raj:- We went to Nandini's apartment. Her neighbor told us everything. How's Aarav now?

Manik:- (sadly) They took him to the emergency room and still didn't inform us about his condition.

At that time a doctor came out from the emergency room and started shouting on a nurse.

Doctor:- (hell angry) How could you be so careless? You should have called the main blood bank and ordered some blood bags na?

Nurse:- Sorry sir.

Doctor:- (angrily) Now go and arrange blood as soon as possible.

Nurse rushed outside and Manik said,

Manik:- (worried) Doctor what's wrong? Did he get hit that badly? Is he alright?

Doctor:- No Mr. Malhotra. He lost a lot of blood. Unfortunately O- blood is out of our stock and we don't have enough time to arrange it.

Manik:- Doctor mera blood group bhi O- hai. Can I give him blood?

Doctor:- Of course. Come with me.

Manik went inside with that doctor and after a while he came back. Nandini was still crying and seeing him, she rushed to him and said,

Nandini:- How's my Aru?

Manik:- Doctor's are trying their best.

Nandini:- (crying badly) I am so sorry Manik. I am such a bad mother. I couldn't take care of our son.

Hearing her, Raj and Neonika got scared. What if Manik gets to know everything? But surprising them both Manik didn't take those seriously. He just took Nandini in a gentle hug and patted her head.

Manik:- No Nandini. It was just an accident. You are not a bad mother, please don't blame yourself for this.

Nandini:- (still crying) No you are lying. You are lying....

Nandini falls unconscious in Manik's arms. Raj called for the doctor and they shifted her in a room. They attracted dips with her wrist. She was too sensitive about her son. She never let her son get a scratch and now her son is laying on the deathbed.
Manik was totally helpless here. He couldn't handle such and was about to leave when he saw a small temple in the hospital. He went there and joined his hands together standing in front of the Lord Ganesha.

Manik:- I never asked for anything to you except my love, but you also took her away from me. Still I didn't complain to you ever. But today if you won't give me my Buddy's life back then I won't believe in you anymore. Today I have promised a mother that I will bring her son back to her absolutely fit and fine. Please don't take her son away from her. Miracles happens and that's why we believe in God. Please do a miracle today and tell us that you exist.
