Aman:- Sir, here is the information you asked for.

Manik took the file from him and started reading it,

Manik:- Akash Mehra? Accounting manager?

Aman:- Yes sir.

Manik:- Okay you can go now.

Aman left there. Manik called the receptionist and said,

In Nandini's appointment

Nandini was sitting on the couch and feeding mashed potatoes to Aarav when she was thinking about today's incident. A lone tear rolled down from her eyes and Aarav noticed that. He stood up and wiped her tears, placing kisses on her cheeks.

Nandini hugged him tightly and said,

She is a mother after all and she is so insecure about her son. What if Manik gets to know about Aarav and takes him away from her?

Nandini pulled his cheeks and hugged him again.

Aarav pouted by not spelling this word properly. He is still learning to talk and of course it will take time. Then Nandini again started feeding him and as usual he started running after eating his half food making Nandini run after him in the whole house. He is as stubborn as his father and Nandini so hate this fact in her son.

Next Day
At a temple

Manik:- I don't believe in God.

Abhimanyu:- Why so?

Manik:- Because he never fulfilled my wishes.

Abhimanyu:- He gives you only those things you deserve. Of course he knows what is good for you and what not.

Manik:- (angrily) So you think I don't deserve what I ask for? Come on, everything is give and take. Why should I pray to him when he won't fulfill my demand?

Abhimanyu:- Not everything is give and take. For example Mrs. Malhotra isn't your biological mother but still she loves you. Can you deny that she doesn't have any selfish reason here?

Manik:- No.

Abhimanyu:- Exactly. Look Manik, praying to God gives us hope. Maybe he won't fulfil your wishes but trust me it's for your own good. So your next task is to believe in God and pray to him at least once in a day.

Manik:- (angrily) What rubbish. I am not going to do that.

Saying this Manik turned to leave when he saw Nandini entering the temple with Aarav in her arms. Nandini put him down to ring the bell when he saw Manik and ran towards him.

Nandini:- Aru, slow down baby.

Suddenly Aarav fell down and started crying. Manik was standing near so he immediately picked him up and said,

Manik:- (panicked) Shhhh. It's okay, I got you, now please don't cry.

Meanwhile Nandini also came running to them and started rubbing Aarav's knees where he got hurt. Both parents were panicked, unknown to the fact that they were actually behaving like parents. Abhimanyu was watching all this from far and he said,

Abhimanyu:- (smiled) Even a monster has a heart and that bleeds too.
