Neonika:- (angrily) Nandini, what was the need to take Aarav everywhere with you?

Nandini:- Actually aunty Aarav's nanny is on leave so I had to take him with me everywhere. He was with me all the time but I don't know how he reached Manik's room.

Raj:- We should have told him everything.

Neonika:- Are you mad? Didn't you hear from his doctor? Any kind of mental stress can be harmful for him.

Raj:- And what you did was right? For God's sake he loved her.

Neonika:- It wasn't love at all. It was an obsession, pure obsession. At least now he won't think about her or do any harm to her and her son.

Raj:- Whatever, I can't take any risk with Manik again. I am calling Dr. Abhimanyu and informing him about everything.

At afternoon

Abhi:- Are you okay?

Manik:- Of course. Why are you asking?

Abhi:- Because I don't think so.

Manik:- (rolling eyes) That's your problem not mine.

Abhi:- Nandini got married to someone else and after knowing that you didn't react at all.

Manik:- Because I don't care, simple. It's her life and she can do anything. Who am I to react here?

Abhi:- Right. So you never loved her?

Manik gripped his file tightly to control his emotions. He doesn't want Abhi to get know about his evil plan so he took a deep breath and said,

Manik:- That doesn't matter anymore. She left me without giving me a chance to explain anything. She chose her freedom so I gave her freedom from me forever.

Abhi:- And what about you? Are you happy in your life without her?

Manik:- "She was never meant to be mine".

Next Day
At Malhotra Industry

Manik:- (shouted loudly) How can she miss to add such an important point in this contract.

Assistant:- I don't know sir. Nandini mam has conducted this deal, only she can answer you.

Manik:- Call her in my cabin right now.

Assistant:- Sure sir.

After sometime Nandini came into Manik's cabin and threw that file on her face.

Manik:- (angrily) What is this Miss. Murthy? How could you leave such an important point in this contract? Buyers are asking to return their money because of late delivery. Now what should we do?

Nandini was surely hurt by his rude behavior. She bend her head low and said,

Nandini:- I am sorry Manik.

Manik:- Mr. Malhotra. It's not your home. It's an office, call me by my surname.

Nandini:- I am sorry Mr. Malhotra.

Manik:- Say sorry to the buyers, not to me. Our company won't return their money because of your mistakes, right?

Nandini:- (with teary eyes) Okay I will apologize to them. Anything else?

Manik:- Next time I will go to meet the buyers directly and you don't have to poke your long nose here.

Nandini:- Okay.

Manik:- By the way why didn't you change your surname after marriage?

Nandini:- Wo...actually.....

Before Nandini could say anything, the landline phone started ringing.

Manik:- Miss. Murthy you can go now.

Nandini left there and Manik received the call from the receptionist.

Receptionist:- Sir all candidates are here.

Manik:- Okay I am coming.

Manik stood up buttoning up his suit like a king. He was happy seeing her teary eyes and said,

Manik:- This is just the start Miss. Murthy. Picture abhi baki ha, just wait and watch.

Manik was passing by Nandini's cabin when he saw an employee sitting with Nandini who was crying and that employee was consoling her by wiping her tears. Manik's blood boiled seeing this and immediately an evil idea stuck into his head. He went in her cabin and said,

Manik:- Miss. Murthy, I have called for interviews for my personal assistant. Will you join me on the interview board?

Nandini:- Yeah sure.

Manik:- Then follow me.

He entered the interview board, Nandini tailing behind him like a lost puppy. They sat on their respective chairs and the interview began. After sometime a candidate entered in the room full confidence and said with extra honey coated voice,

A candidate:- Hi I am Inaya Sharma.

Manik:- Hello Miss. Sharma. Please be seated. May I see your certificates please?

Inaya:- Yeah sure.

She sat on the chair by crossing her legs showing her exposed legs and forwarded her file towards Manik with a seductive smile when Nandini was surely digging holes on her head by her glare.

Manik:- Your academic marks are impressive. So tell me one thing, why should I hire you as my personal assistant?

Inaya:- (smiled) Because I have good academic marks and I am also hot and sexy.

Nandini:- (angrily) We give jobs by considering their academic marks and experience, not on their good looks.

Manik:- Miss. Sharma you are hired. You will get your appointment letter very soon and you can join from tomorrow.

Manik called the receptionist from landline and said,

Manik:- The interview is over. Tell the other candidates to leave and give the appointment letter to Miss. Inaya Sharma. She will join from tomorrow.

Manik stood up to leave when Inaya forwarded her hand and said,

Inaya:- Thank you sir.

Manik shook hands with her and left the room with an evil smirk. He noticed Nandini giving angry glare to her and that's why he hired her as his personal assistant. Irritating Nandini is the only entertainment for him now. He entered his cabin and called his temporary assistant.

Assistant:- Sir did you call me?

Manik:- Yes Aman. I want some information about that employee.

Manik pointed towards that employee who was consoling Nandini.

Assistant:- Sure sir.

He left the room when Manik said,

Manik:- (smirked) Sometimes being a devil is not a crime, it's an art of living.
