3 years later
At City Hospital

Raj was going towards Manik's cabin when he saw Nandini there with little Aarav in her arms who was crying.

Raj:- Nandini tum yaha?

Nandini:- Aarav got a vaccine today.

Raj:- Oho that's why he is crying. Give him to me.

Raj took Aarav in his arms and patted his back gently and said,

Raj:- Hey little Buddy. Why are you crying?

Aarav looked at him with innocent eyes, cheeks puffed like nandini looking damn cute with a red nose due to crying.He stopped crying. Raj smiled at him and so did Nandini.

Nandini:- Uncle would mind holding Aarav for a while till then I will go to the pharmacy to buy his medicines.

Raj:- Sure.

Whereas Aarav watched her disappear with innocent eyes and looked at Raj who said,

Raj:- She will be back soon.

Aarav hugged him keeping his head on his shoulder whereas raj patted his back and soon he drifted into sleep. Raj takes him to Manik's cabin. It's been three years, he is in a coma. Raj felt sad seeing his son laying on the hospital bed almost lifelessly. Oxygen mask covering his mouth, dips were attached into his veins through a needle to supply glucose and many wires were attached to his chest just to monitor his heartbeat.

Raj:- (happily) Manu, see who's here? Your son Aarav.

There is no response from him. Seems like he doesn't have any willpower to live. In fact doctors said the same thing as the patient not responding to their medicine. They all have hurt him this much that he doesn't want to live.

Raj:- Manu how much will you punish us? I am sorry baccha. Please come back to us. We need you, your son needs his father. Why can't you get it, damn it.

At that time Raj got a call. He received it but there were some network issues so he made Aarav lay beside Manik and went out to attend the call. Meanwhile Aarav woke up and started rubbing his eyes. He looked around but didn't find anyone. Then he noticed Manik and sat on his chest. He patted his cheeks to get some attention but he wasn't responding, he pulled his Oxygen mask thinking he isn't responding because of that thing. That's it Manik started having problems with breathing making his heartbeat fast and the monitor started making sound. Unfortunately nobody was there to notice this and soon Manik's nose started bleeding. Raj came back after attending the call and seeing this he was horrified. He immediately pulled Aarav in his arms and called doctors for help. Doctors took Manik to the emergency room and started treating him. Raj was so scared and after sometime he saw the doctors taking Manik somewhere. He rushed to them and said,

Raj:- (scared) What happened? Where are you taking him?

Doctor:- We are taking him for a CT Scan.

Raj:- He will be alright, isn't it?

Doctor:- We can't say anything for now. Just pray for him.

They were taking Manik to the CT Scan room when Nandini came there and saw all this.

Nandini:- (scared) Uncle what happened?

Raj:- (crying) I don't know.

Nandini took Aarav from his arms who was crying again and said,

Nandini:- Don't worry Uncle, he will be alright.

Nandini said this to console him but deep down she was more scared than him. She was silently praying to God for Manik's recovery. No matter what, she still loves him and wants him back in her life.

Nandini's pov:- Aiyappa please save his life. I know he did a sin but he has suffered for the same. Please don't take him away from us. I need him, our son needs his father. Please don't make this little soul suffer. He is innocent and he has the right to get his father's love and care.

Nandini was continuously praying to her Aiyappa for Manik when the doctors came out of the CT Scan room and shifted Manik to his previous cabin. Then they came out and said,

Doctor:- (smiled) Mr. Malhotra there is good news. Manik had a blood clot in his brain and thanks to this little one who pulled his Oxygen mask. Oxygen shortage created pressure in his brain and that blood clot was removed. Now he is responding to our treatment and I hope he will be back to normal life very soon.

Raj:- Thank God. I was so scared.

Doctor:- It's okay Mr. Malhotra. Call Mrs. Malhotra, she will be happy after hearing this news.

Raj:- Yeah. She was praying for her son's recovery. I think God finally listened to her praying.

When Raj was talking with the doctor, Nandini was looking at Manik's cabin. She wanted to see him but couldn't get courage for once since those three years. She blames herself for his condition and always prays for his recovery.

Few weeks later

It's been a few days finally Manik was awake from his long sleep but he wasn't responding to anyone. His full body was temporarily paralyzed with one broken leg which had an iron rod in it so he couldn't move from his bed. A physiotherapist was appointed for him. When Abhimanyu got to know that he came to meet him but he didn't talk to him either.

At Malhotra Mansion

Abhi:- Mr. Malhotra we all know that "idle mind is the devil's workshop". We have to make him talk.

Raj:- But he isn't talking to anyone.

Abhi:- Did he meet Nandini?

Neonika:- No way. I won't let her meet my son again.

Abhi:- (smiled) Mrs. Malhotra right now, she is the medicine for your son's recovery and you can't deny that.

Raj:- What about Aarav?

Abhi:- I think we shouldn't tell him about Aarav now. If he gets to know he will definitely feel guilty which is not good for his mental health.

Neonika:- Do whatever you want. I just want my son back.
