Next morning
At Malhotra Mansion

Everyone was having breakfast when Raj noticed the tension between Manik and Nandini. They were not talking to each other that's mean they had some serious fight. So he thought to give them some alone time.

Raj:- Neo meti bho black wali tie nahi mil raha ha.

Neonika:- Wardrobe ma hi to rakkha tha.

Raj:- Pura wardrobe dekh liya. Nahi mil raha ha yaar.

Neonika:- (angrily) Agar bho tie wardrobe ma mila na to you are gone, understand?

Raj:- Very funny. Let's go.

Raj literally dragged Neonika to their bedroom. Nandini took this opportunity and held Manik's hand. But to her dismay he jerked it and said,

Manik:- (angrily) What?

Nandini:- I am sorry.

Manik:- Do hell with your sorry.

Nandini:- Manik please don't do this to me.

Manik:- And what you did? Was it fair to me?

Nandini:- Manik, I am sorry.

Manik was holding a glass of water and he was putting pressure on it just to control his anger but poor glass couldn't handle so much pressure and broke into pieces in his hand only which shook Nandini to the core.

Nandini:- (cried out) Manik.....

She immediately held his hand and tried to pull out those glass pieces which were pricing into his skin but Manik cared less and jerked his hand while shouting loudly,

Manik:- (shouted) Shut up Nandini, just shut the fuck up. How could you think so low of me? You didn't only doubted on me you also broke my trust. I thought you love and no matter what you will be the only one who will trust me blindly just like you used to do in our childhood. We spent so many years together but alas I couldn't gain your trust ever and where there is no trust there no love. You have changed Nandini and I don't want to accept this changed version of yours. So Nandini Murthy from this moment I am freeing you. I will never come behind you begging to accept my love. Yes you are free now, you are free from me.

Saying this, Manik left there. Nandini fell on her knees silently shedding her tears. She opened her palm which was bleeding. Her finger got a cut while removing glass pieces from his hand.

Nandini:- Manik, I loved you from the first and submitted myself to you. Your each wound hurts me, you never knew. It's just I never voiced it out. Only if you knew your beloved mother. I am helpless, I am so so so helpless. You only saw your pain and never cared about mine. You are my ultimate destination, my home. Now where will I go if you free me?

She already lost her one son and never wanted to lose other one that's why she tired her best to keep Nandini away from Manik. Her intension was good but her ways were wrong.

Few days later

In those days Nandini tried her best to talk to Manik but every he ignored her and left. Right now Manik was sitting on the floor holding up his academic book. Book was open but his focus were somewhere else when Abhi came there and sat beside him,

Abhi:- (teasingly) Ankhe khuli ho ya ho bandh, nigar unka rehta ha. Turu ru ru ru, turu ru ru ru. What are you reading? Leave it and read this.

Abhi took his academic book and gave him a novel.

Manik:- Devdas? Seriously?

Abhi:- Yeah. Mein kuch dino ka liya training pa kya chala gaya tu to Devdas ban gaya. You started smoking and drinking. So I thought to gift you this book so that you can copy him properly. By the way do you know "Kabir Singh" movie was inspired by "Devdas" only. Its just an updated version that's it.

Manik:- Bhai I have exam coming up. So please give my book back.

Abhi:- Look Manik feelings ko suppress karna sa body garbage ban jati ha. So whatever it is just let it out. Trust me you will feel better.

Manik:- There is nothing to let out.

Abhi:- Really? Do you think, I am a fool. Look at your face, dard saf saf dikai da raha ha. I not saying that whatever Nandini did was right and you should forgive her. No I will never say that but Manik every coin has two different side and you can't judge by seeing one side. You have to turn the coin and see both sides so that you can judge properly.

Manik:- What you want me to do?

Abhi:- Try to know the truth behind her action because I don't believe that she can distrust you ever. Remember Manik, she was the only one who trusted you when nobody did. She is very precious, Manik. Just think once before letting her go because once she will go you won't get her ever. Anyways I have appointments linked up so have to go. You are always welcome to my cabin whenever you want. Bye.

At Night

Manik was still in a bar and drinking alcohol. His mind was totally messed up. Was he judging her wrong? Abhi was right she is the only one who trusted him when nobody did. Then what happened? Why suddenly she changed?

Manik came home at midnight totally drunk and was about to fell when Nandini came there and held him.

Nandini:- Oh God Manik you are drunk?

Manik:- Why do you care? Where is Mom and Dad?

Nandini:- They went to a business party. Come I will drop you to your room.

Nandini took him to his room and made him lay on his bed. She was about to go when Manik pulled her towards him by holding her wrist and said,

Manik:- Why are you doing this???
