Police officer:- Manik Malhotra you are under arrest on Soha Khurana's murder change.

Nandini:- (shocked) What??? Soha is dead?

Police:- Yes.

Nandini:- But how?

Manik:- I pushed her. But trust me Nandini, I didn't do it willingly.

Neonika:- Nandini you have to do it.

Nandini:- I can't lie Aunty.

Manik's Lawyer:- My Lord I just got Ms. Soha Khurana's postmortem report and it clearly says that the chemistry lab caught fire because of a chemical explosion which was caused by the poisonous smoke made by Ms. Khurana and she died because of fire only. My client is innocent My Lord. Here is the report.

Manik's Lawyer submitted the postmortem report and the court declared Manik as innocent and apologized for unnecessary harassment. When Manik came out of the court Nandini ran to him and said,

Nandini:- Manik I.....

Before she could finish her sentence Manik went away totally ignoring her.

At Night

Manik was standing at the terrace gazing at the sky watching stars shining brightly when Nandini came and hugged him.

Nandini:- I am sorry.

Manik immediately broke the hug and pulled her towards him by holding her wrist tightly making her hiss in pain.

Manik:- (angry) Sorry? For what, Nandini?

Nandini:- Manik you are hurting me.

Manik:- And what about me? Aren't you hurting me?

Nandini:- Manik I...I.....

Manik:- (shouted) Answer me? I ask you, did you ever think even for a minute even for a moment that I Manik Malhotra can kill Soha?

Nandini:- Manik I didn't mean it. I just said whatever I know.

Manik:- This isn't the answer to my question Nandini, answer me damn it.

Nandini couldn't say anything. She stayed silent bowing her head down in guilt.

Manik:- Nandini Murthy I can get killed for you but I can't kill anyone.
