In a stormy midnight

A small girl around 5 years old was sitting in front of two dead body and crying her heart out.

Girl:- Amma, Appa please wake up.

Neonika:- Nandini baccha please don't cry. Raj it's useless to wait for them, they won't come. You better arrange for their furnace as soon as possible. I can't see this little soul in pain.

At Morning

Raj:- Neonika I think huma Nandini ko apna sath Mumbai lekar jana chahiya.

Neonika:- but Raj you know about Manik's anger issue. He doesn't even want any sibling just because he will have to share his things with them.

Raj:- We also can't leave this little girl here all alone to die. I have an idea.

Neonika:- What?

Raj:- We will introduce Nandini as Manik's new friend. You know na how much he loves his friends.

Neonika:- Yeah. If he loves someone, he loves them from the bottom of his heart but if he hates someone, he hates them to the core.

Raj:- How knows maybe this little girl will be an angel in his life and change him too.

Neonika:- (laughing) are you going to get them married at this age only?

Raj:- idea bura nahi ha.

Neonika:- shut up Raj.

At Malhotra Mansion

Raj:- Manik see we got a new friend for you.

Almost a 6 years old boy looked here and there to find his new friend. But his new friend was hiding behind his Mom holding her saree pallu by one hand and with another hand she was holding a Teddy like a scared kitten.

Manik:- Hey Tiny Mini, come here.

Nandini:- I am not Tiny Mini. I am Nandini, Nandini Murthy.

Manik:- So are you going to stand there like a Murthy only?

Nandini:- I... I am scared.

Neonika:- Don't worry baccha, he won't harm you. He is your new friend. Go shake hands with him.

Nandini helplessly looked at Neonika, who was trying to free her saree pallu from her grip. Manik saw that and smiled at his new friend. He really liked that little kitten as his new friend.

Manik:- Okey do you like chocolate?

Manik pulled out a chocolate bar from his pocket and showed it to her.

Nandini:- (excitedly) Yes yes, I love chocolate.

Manik:- If you be my friend I will give you this chocolate otherwise you will miss it. Now choice is yours.

Nandini looked at Raj and Neonika as if asking for their permission. When nodded their head she slowly went to Manik, forwarded her hand towards him and said,

Nandini:- (smiled) Friends.

Manik shook hands with her.

Manik:- I am Manik, Manik Malhotra.

Then Nandini said,

Nandini:- My chocolate?

Manik:- only if you give me a kissy.

Manik pointed his cheek by his finger. Nandini looked at Neonika and she smiled at her. Then Nandini gave a kiss on his cheek and Manik said,

Manik:- Here is your chocolate. Come I will show you my room. You know I have so many toys there. But I won't share them with you. I will ask Dad to buy you new toys. You know I hate sharing.

Nandini:- I don't want any toys. See I have my Teddy with me.

"He hated sharing his things and she wasn't demanding. That bought them together but is their togetherness forever???"

Few years later

Time flew within a blink of eyes but one thing didn't change and that's their bonding. It's became stronger with each passing year. Manik's anger issue also increased with time but this time it was for Nandini who became his one and only obsession.
One day Manik was fishing in a pond and Nandini was sitting beside him.

Nandini:- Manik kal sa tumhara board exam start ho raha ha or tum yaha fishing kar rahe ho? If Raj uncle will get to know na, he will break your bones.

Manik:- I am not scared of anyone.

Nandini:- yeah right. You are the topper of the school you will pass with flying colors and leave the school as Raj Uncle is sending you abroad for your farther studies. I will be all alone there, I will miss you Monstu.

Manik:- You know Nandini, I can do anything for you.

Nandini:- (confused) what do you mean?

Manik:- (smirked) you will get to know that when exam results will come out.

After exam results came out all were shocked seeing Manik Malhotra failing in all subjects. Well that's shocking because Manik was the topper of the school, he used to bring more than 95% marks but this was totally unexpected for all. The principal called Raj and Neonika to the school and said,

Principal:- Mr. Malhotra please have a look on those answer sheets. Manik has submitted blank papers. This wasn't expected from him. May I know what's went wrong?

Raj:- (confused) I don't know sir.

Neonika:- Maybe Nandini knows something about it.

At Malhotra Mansion

Raj was beating Manik with a belt. He actually crossed the limits this time by submitting blank papers but do you think he will open his mouth?

Raj:- Manik I am asking you for the last time, tell me why you submitted blank papers?

Manik:- (with attitude) I didn't feel like writing anything there.

That's it Raj started beating him more. Seeing this Neonika rushed to him and said,

Neonika:- (crying badly) Raj galti ho gayi ussa. Please leave him.

Raj stopped beating him seeing her pleading eyes and said,

Raj:- Neonika keh do apna ladle sa. Agar isna phirsa asa kuch kiya na to mujhsa bura koi nahi hoga.

At Night

Nandini was applying medicine on Manik's back as he didn't let Neonika touch him.

Nandini:- Manik why did you do that?

Manik:- (smiled) for you.

Nandini:- what do you mean?

Manik:- you only said na that you will be all alone and will miss me. That's why I did that. Now we can be together forever.

Nandini:- (shocked) Manik are you crazy?

Manik:- Only for you.

"She was shy
He was bold
He was fire
She was cold
Still he fall for her
Still she was his star
And they were together
But is their togetherness forever???"
