Being a father, is it so easy..?

To hear, its so easy. By looking at a man and child, we can say that the man is the father of the child and how adorable they looked.

But, does it mean its so easy for that man to be a father like how a stranger says while looking at him..?

No, its not..

Giving birth to a child isn't difficult for a man compared to a woman. But, taking care of a child is so different from it. He needs to take care of his child's wishes, he needs to make sure that his child is happy by being with him.

Moreover, he needs to give his love to his baby..!!

He needs to get love from his baby..!!

Having such mixed thoughts just when one gets to know that he's gonna be a father, is a common feeling and so Manik Malhotra was going through the same feeling..

In Malhotra Mansion

" Ma...." someone shouted and entered inside the Mansion which shook the entire place. Nyonika, who was sitting on the couch along with Raj, busy in discussing something got alert..

Nyonika: Manik..

She, whispered in shock. He addresses her "Ma" whenever he's too much angry or too happy.

Raj: Manik...

Raj too whispered in shock, when he saw Manik running towards them with tear stained face. They looked at each other in worry and then at front and it didn't take another second for Manik to bang in Nyonika's chest while hugging her closely.

To some people, being a father isn't a big news. It happens in 80% of people's lives but for Manik, it was always a different feeling. Never he shared with anyone, but he has always admired the way his father takes care of them. Raj was his superhero and being loved by him, he too wanted to be a superhero, for his child once he, himself, becomes a father.

Mukti: Bhai, kya hua..

Mukti and Cabir, who were in their own rooms busy in projects, rushed downstairs after hearing Manik's shout, only to see their brother weeping in their mother's arms making them to run towards him..

Nyonika: Manik..hua kya hai..huh..bolo..

Raj: Manik, tum kya choto bachon ki tarah ro rahe ho..? Your Lilliput isn't here to take your tantrums, Malhotra..

Manik, got out of his mother's warmth while staring at his father with a loving smile which confused others..

Manik: I bet, you would cry more than me, after hearing it out..

He said while clearing his face with his hands..

Cabir: Kya bol rahe ho, Bhai..

He was concerned as well as irritated with his brother's mood swings. First, he was crying and now he was smiling like a lunatic..

Manik: I..I met Lilliput..

He whispered while staring at his family..

Mukti ( shocked ): Aur Bhabi ne aapko rulaya..? Aapko..mathlab..really..?

Cabir ( shocked ): I can't believe it..!!

Manik chuckled and having enough of the drama, Nyonika forced Manik to look at her..

Nyonika ( glared ): Tum pehle ye bathao ki tujhe hua kya hai..why are you crying one moment and then smiling another moment..?!! Aur Nandini kaise..tujhe rula sakthi hai..chote bache ho kya..?

Manik cupped Nyonika's cheeks..

Manik: Because, she gave me the best that I ever wanted in my life, apart from herself..!!

They frowned at him..

Manik ( smiled ): How will it feel to get promoted to a Grandmother from a mother, Mrs. Malhotra..?!!

And the atmosphere of the Mansion went silent..!!

Nyonika ( whispered in shock ): What...?!!

Manik ( nodded with a smile ): Your son is going to be a father, Ma. A little Malhotra..!!

That was it for Nyonika to burst in tears and she hugged Manik tightly, who took her in his arms while smiling widely.

While for Raj and the younger Malhotras, they stared at Manik in shock with their jaws dropped down..

Manik broke the hug and turned to Raj, who sat in shock. He held his father's hand breaking his trance..

Manik: Dad..

Like a command, Raj shed a drop of tear pulling Manik in his embrace..

Raj: Thank you..!!

That's all he said while cupping Manik's cheeks who nodded at Raj while smiling hugely. He turned to his siblings and Mukti crashed in his arms..

Mukti: A bua..!!

She stood up after breaking the hug forcibly and rushed upstairs which frowned others while a worried Manik turned to Cabir, who still looked shocked. He jerked him which forced him to look at him. Manik raised his eyebrows at him while grinning..

Cabir: You're probably the first couple I've seen who did 'it' without confessing..!!

He spoke in a daze and an embarrassed Manik hit Cabir's head which broke his trance while Raj and Nyonika chuckled..

Manik: We have already confessed, okay..!!

Cabir: What...!!!

Manik glared at him and Cabir whined..

Cabir: Mathlab hum cupids ko hi patha nahi tha ye confession ke barein mein..

Manik ( frowned ): Cupids..?

Cabir ( smirked ): What do you think about our plan to visit Lonavala..? Was it really your honeymoon, Bhai..? Or..Honey-sun..?!!

Manik's jaws dropped down while Cabir pulled Manik for a hug..

Cabir will always be the guy who doesn't show his emotions out, let it be happiness or sadness. His sense of humor always block every other emotions from entering in Cabir's life..

Cabir: I'm happy and you know it..

He whispered in the hug with a smile and Manik smiled at himself..

Manik: Of course, I do, stupid joker..

They broke the hug..

Nyonika ( excitedly ): Manik..Nandu kaha hai..Mujhe usse milna hai..wo teek tho hai na..

Raj: Wahi tho, hume usse milna hai..

Cabir: Par usne kaha kya, bhai..? Did she accept to come back..?

Manik ( sighed ): We didn't talk anything regarding it. But, she's gonna come back anyhow. Meri baath maana padega usko, no matter what..

Cabir ( muttered ): Jaise ki Lilliput kabhi Grumpy coffee ki koi baath maana..!!

Manik ( worried ): Muku khush nahi hai kya, Ma..?

He poured his worries out and others too frowned at it as Mukti was not yet back and they nearly forgot about it due to Cabir's interruption..!!

Before, Cabir could console him, they saw Mukti running down the stairs and reached up to Manik while breathing heavily..

Manik: Muku, tum kaha gayi thi..Tum khush nahi ho kya ye sunke..Dekh, Bhai ki princess hamesha tum hogi..

He spoke lovingly and Mukti glared at him..

Mukti: Mein apna Bhai ko janthi hun, aapko samjhane ke zaroorath hi nahi. Bhabi sahi naam diya hai aapko, coffee, bina sugar se tasty nahi hai and she's the sugar in your life to make you believe in yourself..

Manik gave a fake glare to her to which she huffed and then gave something to him making him to look at it..

Manik: What is it..? Tumhe already patha tha kya Lilliput is pregnant that you brought a gift for me..?

He spoke in shock while seeing gift paper wrapped object in his hand making Mukti to sigh in irritation..

Mukti: Bhai, mujhe nahi patha tha. Aapse share karke bina mujhse kaise share kar sakthi Bhabi. Ab ye kholke dekho..!!

He nodded and tore the wrap while others looked at it curiously..

Manik: A photo album..?

Mukti ( grinned ): Yup..Its an album..In fact, you have to put pictures of yours and Bhabi's hereafter until our baby Malhotra is able to admire this album without anybody's help. Yaani ki, kam se kam 5-6 years hona chahiye so that he could also see the beautiful memories that his parents went through just to see and hold him, and also the moments when he was a baby..!! I got this for you since the moment I wished to be a Bua, I have the same thing for Cabir Bhai too..!!

Manik, smiled at his baby sister, who looks so matured for him all of a sudden. He pulled her in his embrace while kissing her forehead..

Manik: When did you grow up..?

Cabir: She was already grown up but you never noticed it..

Cabir spoke in a bored yet admiration tone for his sister and their parents preferred to admire them..

Manik ( glared ): Cabir..

He placed a finger on his lips..

Manik ( to Mukti ): Thank you for this gift..

Mukti ( smiled ): I'll accept it once you get my Bhabi back in our home...

He nodded at her making her grin to get more wider..

Manik: We're leaving to meet her..

The next second, entire Malhotras were on road in their car, to get their Lilliput..!!

In MruNi's Apartment

Nandini stared at her mobile with a pissed face..

Nandini: Call karke poochun ya nahi..Gussa kiya tho..arey tho karne dho na, kaunsi nayi baath hai..

She was about to keep her feet on the ground but got back in her place again..

Nandini ( irritated ): Why am I getting scared of him, now..? It never happened before..!! Ugh..Grumpy coffee..!!

Someone barged inside the bedroom making Nandini to frown..

Nandini: I request you not to break my door, Miss Murthy..!!

Reeha ignored it and sat in front of Nandini in her ever excited mood..

Reeha: Di..kya ye sach hai..?

Nandini: Boahth saare sach hai iss dunya mein, tum kaunse sach ke barein mein pooch rahi ho..?

Reeha: Offoo..Mrunal Di ne kaha ki Jeeju aaye the aapse milne keliye..Kya ye sach hai..?

Nandini ( pissed ): Aaya tha na, tabhi tho mein iss halath mein yaha beit rahi hoon..

Reeha ( confused ): Kaunse haalath mein..? Aap tho teek dikh rahi hai mujhe, except for your extra gussa..!!

Nandini ( annoyed ): Tho aur kya karun..that stupid coffee warned me not to get down this bed and I don't even know till when should I sit like this. It's nearly impossible for me to sit like this, especially when I'm craving for, na jaane kaunsi cheez keliye..

Reeha started to laugh out much to Nandini's annoyance..

Nandini: Chotiii....!!

Reeha ( laughing ): I can't believe it, Di. Mathlab, koi hai iss dunya mein jo aapko order de sakthe hain. Now, I'm double excited to meet Jeejs..!!

Nandini ( irritated ): You can praise him later on, Miss Murthy. I want to eat, now..

Reeha: Okay, what do you wanna eat..?

Nandini ( pouted ): I don't know. I'm just..craving..for something..sweet, but I don't know what it is..!!

Reeha, being a medical student understood her sister's dilemma.

Reeha: Chalo, then let's get something from outside. Maybe, you'll understand what it is, after seeing the entire sweets shop.

Reeha looked at her in bewilderment..

Reeha ( muttered ): I never believed my professor when he said there are somethings called pregnancy mood swings but now, I do.

She got on her feet in extra energy that Reeha has to hold her back from jumping like a bunny..

She took her mobile and started to type something which Reeha peeked in to read..

" I'm going to the nearby sweet shop, don't send your commands now, Sadu Coffee.." sent to Grumpy Coffee..

Reeha ( frowned ): Ek minute keliye scared aur phir lady mogambo..!!

Nandini ( glared ): I'm still not talking with you..!!

And she dashed outside while stuffing her mobile in her pocket making Reeha to stomp her feet in irritation..

Reeha: Hamesha, ye 24 hrs ka "not talking" contract zaroori hai kya..!! Di...

She ran behind Nandini and soon the duo left to the sweet shop and messaged Mrunal to join them, who was in the hospital..

In Manik's Car..

" Ugh..." Manik screeched his car in front of Nandini's apartment making others to hit him on his head..

Cabir: I don't want to die, Mr. Malhotra. I'm not yet married so being a father is still a dream for me unlike you..

Manik glared at him..

Mukti: Shut up Cabir Bhai, aur Manik Bhai aap, what's wrong with you..? Why did you apply a sudden break..?

Cabir: Apni Lilliput se milne ki khushi mein baaki sabko maarna math, Manik Malhotra..!!

Manik: Shut up, don't lecture like Lilliput..

Cabir ( rolled his eyes ): Of course, ye tho copyright hai na aapki beewi ki..

" Buddy.." they looked at their left to see three excited heads sitting in the next car..

Shravan: Kyu na hum pehle koi gift khareedthe hain. Bhabi will be having cravings..

Raj: Manik, why are you getting worked up for it..?

Manik: Seriously, Dad..!! I asked her not to get out..

Nyonika: Wo kabhi teri baath maana hai..?

Manik: Haa tho teek hai, mantha hun wo meri koi bath sunthi hi nahi, but in this condition, she should take rest, right..

Shravan ( annoyed ): Yar, Bhai. She, herself is a Gynecologist. Had there some complications in her pregnancy, she would have taken rest.

Mukti: Right. You're acting like a kid, Bhai.

Manik ( glared ): That doesn't give her the right to go out, alone in this stage..

Cabir: Uske Pops hai yaha, ab behen bhi hai yaha, aisa kaha na Mohnish Uncle ne, aur saath mein Mrunal bhi hai, jo uske khayal shayad aapse bhi zyada rakh sakthe hai. I doubt, why didn't they get married to each other, you know..!!

This made Cabir to raise his eyebrows at Arijit, who immediately looked away making the cupid to smirk..

Nyonika: Let's do one thing, we can wait here until she comes back..

Manik ( cribbed ): Koi mujhe support hi nahi karthe..

Nyonika ( sighed ): Manik..hum kuch aur tho nahi kar sakthe na..

Manik ( excitedly ): I know where she is..!!

Mukti ( frowned ): How..?

Manik ( smirked ): I can track her using her mobile's GPS..!!

Shravan ( grinned ): Smart Coffee..!!

Manik ( glared ): That's my wife's right, dude..!!

Shravan pouted sadly while others giggled..!!

In the Sweet shop

Nandini was, practically running from one corner to another in search of her "specific sweet" that she's craving for while Mrunal and Reeha stared at her like they were watching a movie..

Reeha ( whispered ): Mrunal Di, when did she start eating chocolates..?

Mrunal ( sighed ): The moment, she started to behave like how she's on her PMS. Cravings, anger issues, crying and then eating chocolates like a kid..

Reeha ( sighed ): I don't even want to get married, after watching my Di's helpless condition..

Mrunal: Me too..!!

Reeha walked towards Nandini..

Reeha: Di, aap mujhe bathao, kya chahiye aapko..

Nandini: I don't know..I, even feel like buying the entire shop so that I can chose what I want.

Reeha palmed her face..

Reeha: Description dhe Mrs. Malhotra. I'll get it for you, somehow..

Nandini: Something sweet and chocolaty..

Reeha ( irritated ): Har ek chocolate sweet aur chocolaty hotha hai..!!

To which, Nandini made a bored face and concentrated in her chocolates..

On the other hand with Reeha,

Reeha was walking through the lane of chocolates while murmuring curses for both Mrunal and Nandini..

Reeha: Mein kya daantne keliye koi machine hun. Bhalai ka koi zamana hi nahi..

Soon, she bumped into a person making her to groan in annoyance..

Reeha: Where the hell were you looking at..?!!

She straightened her sleeves and then looked up with a pissed face only to widen her eyes. Her jaws dropped down in shock..

Reeha's ears have started to emit smoke from it while the other person was enjoying her expressions..

Reeha ( irritated ): Shut up, you spineless monkey..!!

Cabir started to laugh after hearing Shravan's new name which made him to glare at his best friend..

Manik: I think..I do know you..!!

He too studied her face and felt like knowing her while others gaped at him..

Cabir: Lilliput is so gonna murder you, Bhai..!!

Reeha's eyes twinkled in joy..

Reeha: Lilliput...?????!!!!

This made everyone to snap their heads at her in surprise..

Reeha: Are you Grumpy coffee.?!!

The rest stood shocked..

Shravan: Congrats Bhai..!! Your name has officially declared to be Grumpy coffee. Scratch Manik Malhotra from your life..!!

Manik stared at her in astonishment while Reeha grinned at him..

Manik stared at her for a moment again and then his brain finally started to work..

Reeha jumped again in happiness..

Reeha: Thank God, mujhe tho laga Di meri photo bhi nahi dikhaya aapko..

Manik smiled widely and patted her hair making her to smile like a kid..

Manik: She did show your photo but I couldn't identify you..

Mukti: Choti..? You mean, Bhabi's sister..

Manik: The very same one..!!

Raj and Nyonika stared at her with tears of joy..

Nyonika: You look a lot like Ishu..

This made Reeha to look at her in shock..

Reeha: Huh..!!

Raj: We know everything..!!

Reeha turned to Manik in nervousness and he smiled at her..

Manik: I didn't love your Di's identity but her heart..!!

This time, she had a very beautiful smile on her lips..

Reeha: And now, I know, what made my Di to fall in love, after all Nandini Murthy's..oops..Nandini Malhotra's choice is way better..!!

Manik smiled or precisely..blushed at her comment..

Reeha: Uh..chocolates..chocolates..doond rahi thi..aapkeliye..

Nandini: Why are you stammering..?!

Reeha: I don't stammer..

Nandini: You just did..

Reeha: Then, don't talk to me..

Nandini: Chotiii....

Reeha: What...!! Arey come na..we'll pay for your choclates..mujhe bohath bhook lag rahi hai..

Nandini: Cute math bano, tu jungli billi hi rahegi hamesha keliye..

Reeha: Aakhir, mein aap pe jo gayi..

And she dragged Nandini with her..

Cabir: No wonder, why they're sisters..!!

The rest chuckled and followed the girls till the payment counter..

Reeha: Khandan nahi, ye tho ek truck ke khandan lag rahe hai mujhe..

Reeha spoke in disbelief after looking at the pile of chocolates that Mrunal kept for billing..

Mrunal: Pregnancy hormones zor se laga isko..!!

Mrunal spoke in a tired tone while Nandini looked at everything with a pissed face. Seems like, she's not gonna smile, soon..!!

Mukti was about to run towards Nandini after seeing her when Shravan pulled her back..

Shravan: Abey sherni rukk. Bhabi is pissed, didn't you hear that shorty..?!!

Mukti: But, I want to meet Bhabi..

Manik: Muku, we'll meet her once we meet her in the apartment. Let's move ahead with Reeha's plan, for now..!! Is it fine..?

Mukti nodded sadly..

Abhimanyu: Tumhari Bhabi kahi bhagke nahi jaa sakthi, ye monster thodi hi usko chodne wali..

Mukti smiled at him sweetly making him to get lost in her smile while Manik glared at him for mocking him..

Nandini, noticed the guy is the payment counter who was ogling at her. If it was a usual Nandini, she would have insulted him on his face but today, she wrote that guy's whole life destiny..

She punched the guy in his face making everyone to look at her in shock..
