How does it feel to get a high voltage shock..??

Oops..I didn't mean the real electric shock but the metal shocks. Not Again ! Mental shocks don't mean the one which the patients get from the mental asylums.

It's a shock which we get while seeing something unusual. When you see something that you would have thought will never happen.

So, don't you think a human being might not be able to adjust with this shock that they could even paralyze their own bodies.

Unfortunately, it does..!!

And this time, it's not Manik Malhotra or Nandini Malhotra but their family who's gonna get a shock, a high voltage shock..!!

In Malhotra's Farmhouse

Manik walked towards the main-door of farmhouse after pushing the gate in, with his eyes partly closed, his right hand in his pant's pocket but his left hand wrapped around something soft..

Oh, It was his Lilliput, who was completely buried in Manik's chest and walking or call it dangling her legs and tried to walk without falling down in her half-sleep..

Nandini: Grumpy..coffee, are..we there yet..??

She spoke sleepily and he tried to keep his eyes open..

Manik: I..think so..

Nandini: What do you..mean by think so..??

Manik: Mujhe aisa lagtha hai..

Nandini: Kya lagtha hai..??

Manik: Arey mein " I think so " ka mathlab hindi mein tumhe samjha raha tha..

She smacked his stomach even when she was half asleep and he bore it, because, he just wanted to crash on his bed..

Manik: Hum stealing keliye raath mein kyu gaye the yaar..

Nandini: Tumne hi tho batha diya raath mein jaane keliye, mein tho ye sab subah mein bhi karthi hoon..

Manik: Ab mujhe doubt hai, kahi tum kisi robbery khaandhan se tho nahi..

Nandini: I so wish..

Manik: I shouldn't have opened my mouth..

She gave a thumbs up to him while muttering "well said"..

Soon, they were in front of the door..

Manik: Ab ye kaise kholega..

Nandini: Key se kholega..

Manik: Tum chup rahoge bhi nahi..??

Nandini: Ab tumne hi tho poocha..

Manik: Mein tumse nahi pooch rahe the..

Nandini: Tho bhooth se bath kar rahe the kya..

He glared at her with partly opened eyes..

Manik: I'm allergic to them..

Nandini: I think it should be "scared" the word..

Manik: Shut up..

Nandini: Arey par..

He kissed her cheeks hardly which gave a full stop to everything. She held her cheeks and then kept a finger on her lips making him to chuckle..

Manik: Good Lilliput..

He looked ahead to see a shocked face..

Manik: Cabir..

Manik palmed his face while Nandini was half asleep in his arms, she decided to keep her mouth shut and sleep after getting a cheek kiss from her Grumpy Coffee..!!

Manik gave a sheepish grin to him and entered inside the farmhouse while Cabir didn't even move from his place..

Manik: Lilliput..don't open your mouth and don't make any kind of sound, even if something happens, okay..

Nandini: What am I gonna make something happen, actually..??

He frowned and looked down to see her sleeping and she was actually replying to him when she was slipping in her slumber. He shook his head and then looked ahead to walk further when he saw his parents and Mukti gaping at them.

Manik: Not again..

He passed a sheepish grin to them and did what he could. He picked Nandini in his arms and climbed the stairs in cheetah speed and reached upstairs only to see his friends who were going to walk down the stairs, but now, were gawking at him and his Lilliput sleeping who was snuggling to him..

Manik: Not a good morning..

He wished them and ran towards his room and bolted it once he was inside..

Manik: Huff...bach gaye..sirf ab keliye..

He moved towards the bed and kept Nandini on the bed and laid down beside her and slipped under the duvet. Soon, she turned to him and snuggled in his chest making him to smile..

Manik: Let's get some sleep..

He kissed her forehead and he too slipped into a deep slumber..

Downstairs

SLAP..SLAP..SLAP..

The Malhotras, along with Arijit and Abhimanyu watched the crazy best friends slapping each other without putting an end to it..

Abhimanyu ( irritated ): Will you guys stop slapping each other, for heaven sake..?!

Mukti pulled Cabir and Arijit pulled Shravan away and made them to sit on a couch. Mukti moved to the dining table and emptied a jug of water on both the guys..

Cabir: What the hell, Muku..!!

Shravan: Mein so nahi raha tha ye phekne keliye..

Mukti ( dramatically ): Par mujhe laga tum so rahe the aur Bhai, don't even use that phrase. Bhai's Lilliput hates it to the core..

This made Cabir to zip his mouth. He didn't want to get insulted by his sister/Bhabi..!!

Arijit: Why the hell were you slapping each other..??

Shravan: Arey, we were trying to believe that we weren't dreaming. You know, Manik Bhai just walked inside the farmhouse, God knows from where, that too with Bhabi sleeping in his arms. That wasn't something easy to digest..

The rest palmed their faces.

Abhimanyu: Mujhe pehle se hi doubt tha, kahi tum dhono ek hi Ma ke bache tho nahi, sach sach batha, are you guys from some orphanage..??

In return, he got a smack from Cabir..

Arijit: Abey violent kyu ho rahe ho, he's right, after all..

Mukti: Arey shant hoja, pehle hame ye jaanna hai ki aakhir wo dhono kaha the, you know watchman uncle told me that both Bhai and Bhabi walked inside in a drowsy state. Iska mathlab ye hui na ki dhono poori raath kahi bahar spent kiya..

Abhimanyu ( confused ): Ye bhi tho hai, par Manik ithni raath ko bahar kyu jaega aur wo bhi Nandini ke saath..??

Arijit: Uncle, aap kya soch rahe hai..??

Arijit, who was observing Raj from a long time decided to open his mouth..

Raj: Tumhe kya lagtha hai, Arijit..??

Instead of a reply, Raj asked him back with a straight face and Arijit sighed..

Arijit: All I know is, Buddy is falling for his Lilliput and this time, his heart took the lead because, I too accepted Nandini, for him..

Raj simply nodded and laid his head back on the couch.

Because, somewhere down the line, she too believed Nandini is the one and she has accepted her as a daughter.

Raj: It's not about my likeness towards her but about her fondness towards this marriage and our son.

Others stared at him confusedly..

Raj: When I met her for the first time, she was sure about her marriage being contract-based. She wanted something with this marriage which was a lot personal for her and I didn't bug her to marry Manik. But then, I liked her for Manik. Haa Raj Malhotra ko impress karna aasan nahi hai but she did it because, I felt something for her, a positive feeling that yes, she could bring my son back and see, she is making it happen but then..I never thought Manik would fall for her..

And this halted everything. In this happiness that they're getting their old Manik back, they forgot to think about this contract marriage.

What would happen once Manik gets to know about it..?!

Raj: I don't want my son to go through another heartbreak, I won't be able to see it..

No matter whatever happens, at the end, it's always Manik who top Raj's concern list. Yes, like every father's wish, Raj too has a princess but then a man's pride lies in his son, especially when his son makes him feel so proud. Manik never did anything that would raise a question at Raj's upbringing. Cabir was more like a friend for Raj and he loved him immensely but Manik used to be that one son, who needs pampering from father too, not just mother and he always got it too..

Mukti: Dad, I don't know whether you'll accept it or not, but Bhabi doesn't act the same way like how she used to, in the beginning. In the beginning, she didn't even find Bhai as her friend, she never spoke softly with him, nor now but then there's something different in their behavior. Bhabi seems to take care of Bhai's every wish. This wasn't written in the contract that she has to fulfill Bhai's wishes too but then she's doing it. It's not because of the contract but she's doing it for herself. I can see something warm in her eyes whenever she's with Bhai. Trust me, Dad..

This created a tinge of hope in Raj's heart and he just nodded at her..

Arijit: And if this time, something goes wrong, trust me Uncle, I'm not gonna let my buddy chose anything, it will only make it worse. I'll get his happiness to him, no matter whatever I will have to go through..

Raj smiled at him affectionately and caressed his hair. He was the fatherly figure for both Arijit and Shravan and they never failed to fulfill a son's responsibility in them not like Abhimanyu wasn't, he was also very dear to Raj as they're the only friends of his children.

Shravan: Chalo, ab mujhe bhook lag rahe hai, kuch tho khana hai mujhe..

Mukti: Bhukkad, khane ko chod dho yar, isse jaldh hi girlfriend ke zaroorath hai tabhi tho ye teek hojaega..

The rest laughed..

Abhimanyu ( muttered with a smile ): And Manik says she's still a kid..

Nyonika: Muku, jaake apna Bhai aur Bhabi ko bulao, breakfast keliye..

Mukti ( grinned ): Of course..

She ran upstairs while others shook their heads at her childishness except for Abhimanyu, who was grinning..

MaNan's Bedroom

Nandini, opened her eyes due to the constant sound of someone knocking at the door. She yawned and tried to stretch her left hand when she saw her husband sleeping with his head laying on her chest and his left hand wrapped around her waist and right hand on the bed..

She smiled seeing him sleeping peacefully. She ran her fingers through his hair and he snuggled more into her.

KNOCK KNOCK..

This broke her trance...

Nandini: Yes..

" Bhabi...aapko bahar nahi aane hai kya..its time for some breakfast.." she heard Mukti's voice which was coming from outside..

Nandini: Coming..bas 10 minutes..

Mukti: Jaldhi aana Bhabiiiiii..

She found Mukti's voice quiet joyful which made Nandini to frown..

Nandini: Okay..

Nandini: Ye ithna khush kyu hai aaj..koi khaas din hai kya..?? Chalo, anyhow, let me get freshen up..

She tried to move Manik away but he was such a giant for her that she couldn't move his hand which were clutched around her waist..

Nandini: Grumpy coffee...utho..utho..utho..

She shouted the third time making him to shift completely on her chest..

Nandini: God, you're so heavy Grumpy coffee..

And she slapped his shoulders quiet hardly which forced him to wake up..

Manik: Ish..Kya hai Lilliput..Sone dho mujhe..kal raath bhi sone nahi diya aur ab bhi nahi..

Nandini: Tho kaun mana kar rahe hai tumhe, mujhe chod dho, I need to have my breakfast..

He opened his eyes and realized he was sleeping on her. He looked up to see her trying to push him away.

Manik: You mean, I don't need to have breakfast..

Nandini: If you're hungry you can, tax nahi lethe yaha khane keliye..Now, move..

Manik ( smirked ): Nope, I'm finding it so relaxing, in here..you should know what I mean, Lilliput..

She smacked his head..

Nandini: Pervert Coffee..!!

He laughed and shifted back on the bed and took her above him before she could move out..

Nandini: Now what..??

She spoke annoyingly but he was simply staring at her. The previous night's incident really made an effect on him.

Manik: Um...I'm in a mood to fight..

Nandini ( sarcastically ): Oh really..?? Why don't you log onto Instagram and search for a WWE Superstar, he'll be so happy to fight you..

Manik ( glared ): That was so lame..

Nandini: And I know that but I don't care..

Manik: Well, I know, you don't care..

Nandini: Oh wow, that's nice, now, leave me..

Manik: Tch..mood nahi hai..

Nandini ( pissed ): Did you hurt your head somewhere. You're behaving like you lost a screw..

He glared at her but their bickering got stopped when Nandini's mobile rang..

" Choti calling..Choti calling.." Manik took her mobile but Nandini snatched it and pressed the deny button making him confused..

Manik: You don't wanna talk to her..??

Nandini: No..

Manik ( frowned ): Why..??

Nandini ( grumpily ): Because, she didn't pick my call yesterday. Its her punishment that I won't talk to her for 24 hrs and its just 19 hrs and 55 minutes by now..

He gave her an "unbelieving " look which she shrugged off and got off the bed before he could hold her back..

Manik: Come on Lilliput, ithna bhi gussa kyu kar rahi ho, tumhari Choti tho hai na wo..

He spoke while sitting up when she was busy in taking an outfit from the wardrobe..

Nandini: Exactly, wo meri choti hai, agar kisi aur ki hothi tho mein ithni worried nahi hothi, jo mera hai usse protect karna mera responsibility hai par madam ko tho ye sabke barein mein sochna hi nahi hai. She knows how much worried will I get if she doesn't pick my calls but then she had to be careless. Bath nahi karne wali hoon mein ab usse..

Manik: Sirf usse protect karoge tum, mera tho koi value hi nahi..

Nandini ( glared ): Tum padosi ka nahi, mera hi pathi hai tho obviously tum bhi mera responsibility ho..

She walked inside the bathroom leaving Manik to smile at her..

Manik: Over-possessive sister cum protective-beewi..

Right after 10 minutes, Nandini walked out while wiping her hair with the towel and Manik moved towards washroom..

Nandini: Grumpy coffee, make it fast, its been more than 15 minutes since Choti has asked us to join them for breakfast..

Manik: Cool. Between, take it as a compliment, you're the only girl who could get ready within 10 minutes..

Nandini: I know, I'm the best..

He shook his head and slammed the door shut while she combed her hair and moved downstairs..

Nandini: Good morning, Grand Pa..

She was about to walk past Raj who was reading a magazine, sitting around the dining table when he coughed deliberately making her turn to him..

Nandini: Bathayiye, ye fake cough ke zaroorath kya hai..??

Raj ( grinned ): Kal raath kaha the, Nandini..??

Nandini: Nothing much, I went for stealing..

And she gave a cute smile to him and walked inside the kitchen while Raj dropped the magazine on the floor in shock..

Nandini: Good morning, Choti and Mom..

Both Nyonika and Mukti smiled at her mischievously..

Mukti: Morning, Bhabi, Morning. A very good morning to you..

Nandini ( frowned ): Tum aaj kuch zyada hi khush lag rahi ho. Bathao, baath kya hai..?

Mukti: Kyunki aaj mene apni Bhabi ko uske Grumpy Cofee ke baahon mein dekh liya..

Nandini coughed the water that she was drinking and Nyonika rubbed her back..

Nyonika: Arey dheere peeo na, Muku, tum bhi na, aise baathein kehne ke waqt thoda sambhalke karna hai..

Mukti: Oops sorry Mom, experience nahi hai na..Tho Bhabi...

Nandini ( frowned ): What did you mean by that..??

Mukti moved towards Nandini and hugged her from behind..

Mukti: Patha nahi aap dhono kaha se aa rahe the par jaha se bhi ho, aap Bhabi ki baahon mein the aur Bhai aapko lekar kamre mein gaye, lagtha hai, aap so rahe the, hai na..

Nandini closed her eyes tightly in embarrassment..

Nandini ( thought ): Iss Grumpy coffee ki tho mein, I thought I walked to the bedroom by myself but then he, actually carried me in his arms..

Mukti ( smiled ): You don't need to be embarrassed, mein tho already aapko meri Bhabi maan chuki thi par ab hum sab aapko iss ghar ki beti maanthe hai..

This made Nandini to open her eyes and she stared at Mukti in surprise who nodded at her while grinning. She turned to Nyonika who was also smiling widely. She moved forward to Nandini and kissed her forehead..

Nyonika: Pehle bhi mujhe tum pasand thi par aaj mujhe, tum mere Manik keliye pasand ho, kuch zyada hi pasand ho..

Her heart fluttered in happiness but soon Manik's words rang in her mind again..

Nandini: Mom, jaise aap sab soch rahe hai, waisa kuch bhi nahi hai..

Mukti: Hame patha hai kya sochna hai, ab aap jaakar Mrunal Di ko lekhe aao, Di tho kabse gardening kar rahe hai aur shayad raath thak waha rukjaenge..

Nandini nodded and moved out of the kitchen.

Mukti: Mom, don't worry. Bas aap apne bhagwan pe bharosa rakho, maybe Bhabi hasn't realized her feelings yet..

Nyonika nodded at her though she was sad from inside..

Soon, everyone were done with their breakfast. Raj was still shocked that he couldn't even eat properly while the youngsters decided not to tease Manik and Nandini after hearing from Mukti about the kitchen conversation between her and Nandini..

Post breakfast

Arijit: Tho aaj kya karna hai..??

Mukti: We have three more days left to enjoy in here. So, plan something extra beautiful..

Abhimanyu: How about Duke's Nose..?? We can go for hiking too..

Abhimanyu grinned like a fool and muttered "with pleasure" which was seen by Nandini and she hid her smile..

Nyonika: Even I was noticing it, kya hua Raj..??

Raj stared at Nandini who was also looking at him in concern..

Nandini palmed her face in disbelief after hearing him while Manik looked at them in shock..

Nandini ( glared ): Stupid coffee, mene Grand pa se kehdiya tha ki kal raath mein stealing keliye gayi thi when he asked me where was I last night, isiliye shocked hai..

Manik ( shocked ): Tumne batha diya..??

Nandini: Offo..tumhe darne ke zaroorath nahi hai, I told him I went for stealing, tum abhi bhi sanskari ho sabke samne. Bas problem ye hai ki, you carried me in your arms today morning and everyone has seen it, bas uskeliye bahana doondo, mein bho sochthi hoon kya bathana chahiye..

Manik stared at her with a goofy smile after hearing her. She cares about his wishes and that was more than enough for him to get happy..

Abhimanyu: Excuse me guys, what do you mean by stealing..??

Cabir: According to me, the answer to your question is, stealing means chori or if you want in English, then it means taking something that belongs to someone without their knowledge..

And Mukti fell off the couch while the rest could only gape at them and this time, Nandini was also included in it..

Nandini looked at Abhimanyu, still in a daze while Manik gave him an angry glare..

Abhimanyu ( muttered ): I should have known it..

He gave a grin to her and then got back to his couch..

Abhimanyu: Na mene kuch kaha aur na hi mein kuch bolne wala hoon..

Nandini simply nodded and then turned to Manik, who was still looking at his friends with a pissed look..

Mukti: Um..Bhai, could you just..elaborate..

Manik ( sarcastically ): Ab tujhe mein stealing kaise karoon, ye bhi sikhaoon..??

Shravan: Nahi..bas ye bathao, aap kab pagal hogaya..

Manik took a flower vase and aimed at him making him to hide behind Cabir..

Shravan: Bhabi, bachao...

His shout brought Nandini out of her trance..

Nandini: Uh..Grumpy Coffee, do you realize what you just said..

Manik ( frustrated ): Ab tujhe bhi problem hai..forget it..I'm gonna get ready..

And he stood up and moved upstairs while the rest were gaping at his retreating figure..

Raj: Nandini....

Nandini turned to Raj who was giving her a helpless look making her to sigh..

Nandini: I find stealing also as fun. We stole a lighter from a kanjoos specs and then went to church. Trust me Grand Pa, your son is still a sanskari..

Mukti: You went to church..??

Nandini: Arey, we had to use that lighter for something special and praying is the best thing that we could do. I will obviously won't give that lighter back to kanjoos specs. He doesn't deserve it, ek chocolate bhi usko 2 rupaye ke chahiye tha.

Nyonika: Nandini beta, tum bhi jaake ready hoja..

Nandini nodded at her and moved towards upstairs while Nyonika's eyes finally got teary..

Nyonika: He prayed to God..

This caught everyone's attention..

Nyonika: Our son prayed to God after 2 years, Raj. After 2 years, he slipped into peace..

Raj took her in his embrace while smiling..

Nyonika: Aur ye sabke wajah Nandini hi hai. I'm not gonna let her go from my son's life. Call me selfish, but I won't..

Mrunal stared at Nyonika with a smile.

Mrunal ( thought ): I'm being selfish here. I want my fluffy to be with this family, just cross this contract, God..I don't want anything else..

Everyone were in their position for hiking. They had a guide with them too, in case they get lost in their tracks..

Mrunal: This place is so beautiful.

Soon, they were at the peak and they stared at the beautiful view in awe. Everyone got busy in taking pictures..

Nandini: Let me tell you bhagwan ji, this creation of yours is so beautiful..

She spread her arms and inhaled fresh air when she felt someone's chest behind her. She opened her eyes and peeked behind to stare in his eyes..

Nandini: What..??

Manik: What..??

Nandini: Tum yaha kya kar rahe ho..?

Manik: Arey, hum hiking keliye aaye the, don't you know it..??

Nandini: Hiking keliye aaye tho wo khatham bhi hogaya par yaha mujhse chipake kya kar rahe ho..??
