I was standing there when Manik called me. I turned around to see him standing with a gift box in his hand.

"What is this Manik?"

I asked..!!  His smile grew bigger and he said,

"Your roka gift!!"

I was surprised. He never leaves any chance to make me happy or feel like a princess.

"Par..iski kya zaroorat thi?"

I asked...curiously.

"Vo tumhe khud pata chal jayega. Jab tum yeh gift dekhogi." 

I was more curious now. I opened the gift to see a very...I mean very beautiful bracelet carved with letters M&N.

This bracelet...but instead of love...one side of infinity is M and the other is N

He took the bracelet from my hand...and made me wear it.

" Aj hamara roka tha Nandini!! Jiska yeh matlab hai..ki ajse hum ek dusre ke hai. Isliye yeh bracelet!!  ispar humare initials carved hai..!! Tum jab bhi ise dekhogi. Tumhe realize hoga...ki Main ab hamesha ke liye tumhara hun"

His words gave me jitters. A bracelet can have such a deep meaning...I never knew!!

I am so lucky to have him. I couldn't control my emotions anymore.. tears started to flow from my eyes. He panicked seeing me cry.

"Kya hua Nandini. It's okay, if u don't like it..i will give it back. Par tum  pls ro mat"

"Manik, bracelet bahut acha hai. It's just that.. Mujhe kabhi kisine aisa gift nahi diya. It's like a promise from you to me..that u are mine...I can't tell u how happy I m to receive this. I am really sorry.  Main tumhare liye kuch nahi layi"

He smiled a bit and said.

"True. Tum kuch nahi layi, par la sakti ho Abhi ke abhi"

What can I bring for him, now??

"Kya?"

"Tumhari smile"

This automatically brought a smile on my face.. With a little tears still.

He wiped the tears off my face and I just looked in his eyes.

There was no bad intention,  nothing In his eyes. He has a pure heart. Now I know.  He won't betray me.

Tomorrow is Diwali. I will tell him what he wants to hear from quite a long time. He will be so happy.

At that time, I noticed some fireflies surrounded us. They were glowing. I don't believe in all this, but Navya told me once that fireflies vaha hote hai jaha Sacha pyar hota hai. They celebrate true love

Is it true or not, I don't know. But all I know is...my heart is saying...yes what Navya said is true...!!

After some time we both went down...as nyonika aunty wanted to talk about something.

Nyonika: Beta kal diwali hai...aur humare Ghar me pooja bhi hai. Main chahti hun ki kal tum aur Manik pooja karo. Last year Navya aur cabir ne ki thi. Is bar Tum aur Manik..Akhir tum bhi to hamare Ghar ki laxmi ho..!!

I: "Ji aunty. Kyun nahi...main zaroor aungi kal..pooja karne."

In return she just smiled...!!

Nyonika: Shanno ji. Main soch rahi thi ki kal hi shadi ki date bhi fix kar lenge.  Kal se shubh din konsa ho sakta hai. Ap kya sochti hai? "

Shanno: "Apne to bas mere Muh ki bat chin li. Main bhi yahi soch rahi thi"

Everyone smiled at this!!

After discussing about tomorrow's events, they all left!! Now I m eagerly waiting for tomorrow. It's Diwali!! 😘
