I was just thinking about my decision. When a call interrupted. It was Manik's.
I picked it up...

"Hi"

He said, a little excitedly.

"Hi!!"

I just replied.

" Nandini you are happy with this marriage right?"

He asked a little worried.

I was dumbstruck. This guy is.. Is so nice! Even though he wants this marriage to happen, he Is asking me. For my happiness. That was the moment. I understood. My decision was right!
He is the right guy for me.

"Hello. Hello. Nandini you there?"

Manik's voice came. I stopped the train of my thoughts and replied

"Manik. Ofcourse, I am happy!! It's so sweet of you to ask me..even though you want this marriage to happen."

He didn't say anything. I just heard a huff from his side. Indicating he released the breath he was holding since long.

Manik: Umm.. Okay then! See you tonight.

I: Yeah!

We both wanted to talk. But what about?

No idea.

After some good 5 minutes, we disconnected the call.

MURTHY MANSION

Evening-- 7:00 pm

The Mansion was decorated with flowers, lights and ofcourse... Happiness.

Mr. And Mrs. Murthy were running around to check the last minute arrangements..!! They were looking very awesome in their attire.

The guests had started arriving. Nandini was ready. Shanno told Navya to bring her downstairs and she did the same.
She looked beautiful in her dress, chosen by Manik!!

Everyone looked at her and praised her a lot. She was made to sit on the stage!!

Some aunties were beating the drums, as per custom. They dragged Nandini and brought her to make her dance.

One of the aunties said..

"Beta...Humne suna hai..ap bahut acha gati ho. Please kuch gayiye na!!"

After lot of resistance, nandini finally agreed. The music started...

Here Manik and family reached the door step and saw Nandini singing. Nandini saw Manik. She continued singing.

After the music and the aunty stopped...everyone present there clapped for Nandini!!

"Haye. Kitna sona gati hai"

One of the guests of Manik's family said!!

Nandini smiled at her. She then looked at Manik and he said it was awesome through his expressions.

Nyonika: "Chaliye, yeh sab to hota rahega. Roka kar le ab"

Everyone agreed. Manik and Nandini were made to sit on their place.

The rasam was done happily and without any problem.

After the roka..guests started leaving.

Manik went to the terrace and sent a message to her to tell her to come too...!! She went to the terrace, wondering why Manik has called her!

Manik: Nandini!

Nandini turned around to see Manik holding something in his hand.
