Next morning there was something else only holding for them in the store.. Both Manik and Nandini were having a peaceful sleep. After all they were having some sort of unknown peace within them.. some sort of assurance..

When there were loud sounds coming from outside their doors..Someone was banging their door which made both their peaceful sleep break.. Both woke up with jerk and was a bit embarrassed about the whole situation but soon were comfortable.. as they have made peace with the fact that they have this relation with each other..

Manik immediately went to his closet and wore a track and a sando and moved towards the door to check while Nandini just collected their clothes lying on the ground.. She found her undergarments and wore it while she was still in the shirt that Manik had given.. but it was too large for her so it would come down from shoulders time and again.. She after completing all this just moved and covered herself with the blanket..

While Manik for once looked at her to see if she is not in some compromising state and opened the door with anger written on his face.. as he has always given strict warning to all his servants to not make any notices when they are asleep and specially Raj.. but On seeing the source of the voices he got even more angry..

M: What the hell are you doing in this house. And what is all this noises.. Don't you have manners to maintain your voice level when you are at someone's house... But ohh sorry I forgot that you have sold all your manners in open market like you sold..

Before he could continue another shout came from other side.

Person: What the hell Manik how dare you talk to me like this...

M: Keep your volume down, dad must be sleeping because of sedatives... And you (he said to the servant) how dare you allow her to enter my house..

Person: Manik I am your mother...

Yes the person was none other than Nayonika..

M: I do not have any mother and I do not have any relation with you Neyonika...

Ney: No matter how much you try to run Manik but this is true that I am your mother... But actually I am here because I want to meet your so called cheap wife.. I mean which son gets married without his mother.. I get to know from newspapers today that my son is already married and had a reception party yesterday where his mother was also not invited..

M: First of all I do not care about anything related to you and secondly I do not want your evil site also on my wife.. so stay as far as possible as you can..

Before he could say anything further Neyonika pushed him and barged in the room.. But the site in front of her made her speechless for some time along with that it boiled her blood... Well the site included Nandini covered herself in such a way that the opposite person would feel the other to be naked under the blanket.. as the shirt was coming down her shoulder and she looked as if wearing nothing as she had covered herself with the blanket till her assets.. While seeing her speechless Manik moved beside Nandini and took her in his arms as if he is trying to cover her.. while he placed a kiss on her temple.

M: I always knew that you do not have manner as I said you sold it in open market but today you proved also.. Will you please moved out from here as you see we are the newly married couple and we are supposed to be here and it is really a bad manners to enter someone's room without permission... I mean yaar come on you atleast need to knock before you enter.. Can't you see that you are making my wife uncomfortable in her own house and her own room... so please no actually you do not deserve a please so just get out from here I have had enough of you...

Ney: You will regret this decision of marriage for your life time and I will make sure of it.. after all these middle class cheap girls are not for you..

Manik made Nandini keep her head on his chest while he pulled her closer.. while creasing her hair..

M: Tch... Tch... Tch... Neyonika actually upar wale ne hai tumhe ek single piece banaya hai... No woman on this earth can replace this place of your's so will now just get the hell out of my room.. You see my wife and me are actually not in a position to see you off and we hate when people try to invade our privacy.. and yes one more thing.. as I said that you are single peice so no one can be as cheap as you are na..

Being insulted on her face Neyonika wanted to say more but could and left from there banging her legs.. While as soon as she left Manik carefully detangled himself from Nandini and asked her to freshen up while they will talk after that... As he was in no option how to make Nandini understand of what just happened..

While Nandini was about to stand up to go Manik again called her from back...

M: Acha Nandini listen..

Nandini turned back and looked at him and then asked him to speak by her eyes.

M: Woh I wanted to ask you... Are you alright should I give you some pain killer...

N: For now I am fine.. If I feel the need then will ask you..

Manik nodded and he went to take his clothes so that he can get ready in the guest room.. 

Nandini got ready and was now applying kajal and mild makeup when there was a knock on the door and Nandini allowed the person to come in.. The person on door was none other than Manik..

M: Can we talk...

Nandini nodded and then said...

M: Nandini the act of Neyonika.. Woh.. woh.. I just wanted to say sorry for all that you had to see in the morning.. I mean I know she was irrational but that is her.. I am really sorry that the language she used was not ment for you to hear.. I am used to it but you aren't..

N: Manik it is not your fault.. It is ok. I do not mind it... You could not do anything about it..

M: She won't sit idle.. She will do all the things that she can just to break our relation.. She might stoop to any level just to throw you out of my life.. she is the most cheapest woman I have ever seen in my life and her tricks are now know by me but I just wanted to warn you as she will attack you now.. as she did today like calling you middle class and cheap and using abusive language and what not..  ( Manik was stating facts but somewhere he just did not want her to go) 

N: Manik the truth of our relationship lies behind the four walls of this room.. It was our mutual decision so we are in this together to fight.. Don't worry I won't come in any trap of her's.. And if at any point you feel a change in my behavior just say it on my face and I will tell you it there is anything that is hindering me.. ok...

M: Thank you.. I just wanted to ask you one more thing..

N: Why are you asking me.. Manik we need to just be transparent for our maintained relationship...  So feel free to say whatever you wish to..

Manik made her sit in front of him and said..

M: We had an intimate moment yesterday and will have normal relationship.. We might need each other as per other's need.. I just wanted to make sure that I hope we are fine with all this.. 

N: Manik we are in this together... I am fine with everything... Saying this she gave a faint smile but Manik sighed because he was now relieved of stress.. as he know that having a relationship and that too physical without love is difficult for every woman..

M: Thank you for understanding.. Acha I guess we should go down dad would be waiting for you..

Nandini nodded and then moved to just tie her hair and then she was about to go when she remembered to put sindoor.. 

She always remembered her mother telling..

(Flashback):

N: amma... Why do you become so hyper when your sindoor gets rubbed off... I mean kisi ne galti se bhi mita diya to you will almost kill the person with your words...

Nandini's Mother: Are pagli... Baby ye jo sindoor hota hai na it is symbol of love and a happy relationship.. It depicts the happiness that every woman feels when she is married and the luck that one has on being married..

Nandini had slight tears remembering the scene.. She was like that though she does not have love in this relationship she has the most important 2 things.. One trust and second that she always felt when she is with Manik and that is safety.. Last years she had always been in fear of one thing or other..

Manik called for her from the door bringing her back to earth and she responded and joined him.. She moved down and fed breakfast to Raj chattering about something or other and she bid bye to Manik who was leaving for office..
