Nandini: not at all..woh toh baas navya..

Manik: its okay nandini..you dont have to make excuses.. I understand..knowing how hot i am how hard it is for you to control..

Nandini: ohh please mr.malhotra..its not hard for me..its hard for you..

Manik: acha?

Nandini: ji haan..

Navya was laughing covering her face with the blanket..

Manik: soo you are a good wife na?

Nandini: ofcoursee

Manik: sooo..jaldi de dena..

Nandini started blushing and she didnt know what to reply..

Manik smiling: i love you too..

Nandini: so what are you doing?

Manik: nothing.. Woh everyone is practicing for the sangeet tomorrow and i am locked up inside my room..

Nandini giggled..

Manik: why didnt navya come? Aryaman and abhi are here too..

Nandini: idk..kal jayegi i guess..

Manik: hmm... Soooo

Nandini: sooo?

Manik: sooo..

Nandini giggled: manik stop it..

Manik: this wait..is killing me..

He turned around lieing down on his stomach..

Nandini: shutup manik..

Manik: how do u feel nandini?

Nandini: i am so happy manik..i dont have words to explain..

Manik smiled: we are getting married..

Nandini: you dont say sherlock..

Manik laughed..

Manik: a new phase of life..with the love of my lifee..

Nandini blushed and smiled..

They were both silent for some minutes and they were just letting the silence speak..both smiling hearing the words of silence..suddenly manik jumped up and sat..

Manik: i am coming to pick you up..

Nandini sat up too: no no manik..

Manik: you are coming here..bring navya too...

Nandini: but whyy?

Manik: we can be with out friends and ofcourse we can spend some time together so get ready..actually just wear a sweater above..

Nandini: manik please..amms ko bata chal gaya toh?

Manik: did she get to know anything till now?

Nandini: nehi..

Manik: toh aab bhi nehi bata chalega..

Nandini: acha thik hain..

Manik: thats like my good girl..coming in 5

Manik wore his black adidas jacket over his red tshirt and took his keys and left..

Nandini: navyaa..chaloo

Navya sat up: kaha?

Nandini: malhotra mansion..

Navya smiling: reallyy?? Yay meri dance practice bhi ho jayegi..

Nandini: why didnt u go?

Navya: woh tumhe akele chorke nehi jana chahti thi..

Nandini: awww

She hugged navyaa..

Navya: chalo chalo..

Nandini wore a black cardigan over her pink tshirt and navya wore a white cardigan over her red tshirt..

Within that time manik had reached and nandini and navya slowly went down and outside through the backdoor..

Manik: hello girlss.. Chalee..

Manik opened the front seat door for nandini and she sat smiling..navya sat at the back and then manik started driving the car..

Manik: so whats up? Sleepy?

Navya: not at all..i am gettin all pumped up for the dance..

Manik: good good..

They talked for sometime more and then they reached..

Nandini was about to open the door of the car when manik held her hand..

Manik:navya tum jao we are coming..

Nandini: kyu?

Manik: kuch kam tha...

Nandini: gari mein kya kam?

Navya: offo nandu..tu samajh ti nehi hain? Backseat mein....

Navya looked at nandini with a smiling face and her eye balls were literally popping out..

Manik: shutup madhubala get out..

Navya: thikhain thikhain..

Navya went inside and manik drove away..

Nandini: where are u taking me mr.malhotra?

Manik: icecream?

Nandini smiled like a baby..

Nandini; but winter mein icecream?

Manik: khush toh bohot ho..stop talking now..

Nandini laughf and then moved closer to him holding around his arm and resting her head on his shoulder..

Nandini: i love these hide and seeks...

Manik smiled..

Nandini: manik..lets go for a drive na..

Manik: drive? Abhi?

Nandini: haan..

Manik: acha..lets take icecream first..

Manik parked his car outside the icecream parlour and then got two scoops of chocolate icecream for them..he started driving again.. Nandini held around his arm placing her head on his shoulder and having icecream..she fed manik too time to time..

Manik: acha nandini..what are your plans after marriage?

Nandini: wohi classical music concerts..

Manik: nicee..oh btw..amms was talking to you about the same thing..no problem with everyone staying together right?

Nandini: ofcourse not manik..you forgot? I gave you the brilliant idea..

Nandini and manik both smiled..

They talked and enjoyed the long drive..
Manik soon stopped his car beside on the highway and parked beside the highway on the area of grass..

Nandini's face got a big smile when she looked around realizing what place it was..

Nandini excited: manikk this placeee...

Manik smiling: yup! Chalo

Nandini and manik both got down..it was the place where they had met for the first time and also created so many more memories..

Nandini: this breeze..so perfect..

Manik came and stood beside nandini hugging her from the side..
Nandini rested her head on his chest and looked infront..the cold wind was making her hair move constantly and fall on her face..

Manik: are u feeling too cold?

Nandini: just perfect..

Nandini hugged manik more tight getting all the warmth from his body and giving her warmth to him..

Nandini: i love this..this is by far our best long-drive..

Manik laughed..

Manik moved a bit and nandini broke the hug looking at him..he picked nandini up..

Nandini: manik kya karrahe ho?

Manik placed nandini on top of his car..

Manik: i am coming wait..

Then he himself went above his car and lied down placing his head on his hand..

Manik: comee..

Nandini smiling lied down beside him placing her head on his chest..

Manik: do u see the stars?

Nandini: no manik..abhi subeh ho rahi hain..its not dark see..

They were both looking at the sky..

Manik: imagine how lucky i am nandini..

Nandini: matlab?

Manik: matlab..i have my star always with me..during the daylight or darkness..alwayss..

Nandini smiled hearing this and softly kissed his chest.. She moved her head a bit up looking at him..

Nandini: and your star promises to be always there..

She cupped his face with one hand and kissed his another cheek..
Manik smiled..he looked at her and moved the hair strands from her face and caressed her cheek with his thumb..

Manik: you are the best thing that ever happened to mee..

Nandini: and you too..

They both smiled and shared an eye-lock.. 

Manik still caressing her cheek: i promise nandini..to never ever leave you..to always be by your side..like you have always been..nandini murthy i promise i dont know how much i have lightened your life as a murthy but i promise i will light up your life's journey as nandini malhotra..

Nandini had slight tears in her eyes and she was also caressing his cheek with her thumb..

Nandini: you make me speechless and i hate it( they both giggled) i have so much to say manik..you have always been there and you are one person i can trust with my life..i love you..i promise to always remove darkness from you life..i promise to give you all the happiness you deserve because trust me you deserve a lot..you are my everything and i couldnt imagine life without you..i will shine like a star and glow like a firefly only for you...

Manik smiled and move his face up and kissed his cheek..

Nandini went down again hugging him and the both lied down hugging each other and looking up at the sky...
