Days passed by and finally it was the day of Avni and Maniks engagement. The day when manan will finally meet.
Nandini POV
I will have to face him again. I have moved on mr malhotra. You don't affect me anymore neither I am your star. Huh how will I even be your star when Avni is your star.

Avnis family and nandini reached there soon. Nandini had come with saina as she couldn't leave her alone. She was wearing A sleeveless lehnega in which you could see her cleavage. They entered and Raj ( Maniks father) saw nandini and came running to her.
Raj: nandini beta I'm sorry for what Manik did. I have forced Manik to marry Avni but if you want I will cancel the wedding right now.
Raj was going to tell avnis parents that the wedding can't happen when nandini held his hand.
Nandini: I don't want to marry anyone ever in my life neither I want to be in a relationship with anyone.
With saying that nandini went. She was going when she bumped with someone. You all can guess who it was yes it was none other than Dhruv... Just joking it was Manik malhotra.
Manik was shocked to the core to see her. He couldn't believe his eyes. He touched her cheek but nandini pushed her away
Nandini: excuse me?
Manik: Nandu?
Nandini: I'm sorry mr but I'm not Nandu only people who know me can call me that
Nandini was going when Manik pulled her in the guest room
Nandini: leave me
Manik pinned her to the wall. He pressed his waist hard against his. Tears welled up in nandinis eyes.
Nandini: please leave me
Manik: nandini I'm sorry
Nandini: leave me or else you are going to pay for it
Manik: nandini I'm ready to pay for anything just come back to me
Nandini: do you think you deserve to be with me?
Manik was speechless he didn't have any answer
Manik: nandini I don't deserve you but I also know one thing that I can't live without you.
Nandini: why?
Manik: nandini you are my star
Nandini: sorry mr malhotra for not matching up with your expectations but guess what?
Manik: what?
Nandini: you do have a star and your star is Avni
With saying that nandini left the room. She had tears in her eyes.  She ran to Shilpa ( guys Shilpa had saina). She reached there and hugged shilpa. Saina started hitting nandinis head telling her to take her. Nandini wiped her tears and took saina from Shilpa. Saina happily came to her without any attitude. She would have attitude after all she is mr malhotra's daughter. Saina was playing with nandini when Manik came there. Saina looked at him and started crying. Nandini who was talkin to some guests suddenly looked at her.
Nandini: why is my baby crying?
Saina pointed to Manik. Nandini looked there and felt bad for not giving saina her dads love. Manik came towards nandini and showed his hands to saina indicating her if she wants to come to him. Saina looked at him for a few seconds and then looked at nandini
Saina: neru kkini nahg ( baby language)
She suddenly hopped to Manik and Manik carefully took her.

Saina finally has her dads love.

Nandini was in her dreams when she got hit by someone at her back. She turned around.
Saina: bhap
Saina saying that hit nandini again playfully.
Saina hopped to nandini and nandini took her away avoiding Manik.
It's been a week and it's time for Manik baraat
Avni was wearing a heavy lehnega and looking like a choodal (witch).
Shilpa: Nandini beta Avni ko le ayo please.
Nandini: ji
Nandini went to where Avni was dressing up
Avni: Hi nandini
Nandini smiled: hi... Nervous?
Avni murmured: nervous? My foot... She should be the one nervous she is acting like I'm marrying Manik.
Nandini: kuch kaha?
Avni: nahi
Nandini soon received a call to bring avni down
Nandini and Avni reached down and Nandini took her to the chair beside Manik and made her sit there.

Nandini was about to go when Avni called again
Avni: acha nandini myra kaha hai?
Nandini: Shilpa aunty ke pas... Kyu?

Nandini went to get Myra and gave her to Avni and went to get water for her.
Avni: Manik suno
Manik: I'm deaf I can't listen
Avni frowned: Manik listen I can change places with nandini and you can marry her
Manik jumped up: haa but how will you make nandini agree?
Avni: leave that to me... Acha Manik mujhe laga tum deaf ho toh how did u hear my plan?
Manik: agar boring baat karo hi toh esa hi hoga... My Baby app ka name Kya hai?
Avni burst out laughing listening to this
Avni: Manik first of all woh baat nahi kar sakti hai and second of all her name is Myra but Nandini called her saina sometimes
Manik: I know that I was just joking
Manik was playing with Myra and Myra was smiling seeing her dad when nandini came with the bottle.
Nandini: yeh lo
Avni: thanks
Avni took the water bottle
Nandini: aur kuch chahiye hai?
Avni smiled: nahi thank you
Nandini smiled back and looked at Manik and Myra
Nandini: Avni fiancé ke paas hi Rehna... I don't trust him with my daughter.
She went away saying that. Manik and Avni looked at each other and hit there foreheads.
Soon as time passed the engagement was over... The friends decided to have a party except soha and her side.
Shilpa: I'll take myrah with me
And saying this she took myrah
Manik and Nandini were in the party.
Nandini: I don't want to go
Mukti: oh common Nandini... Forget about Manik just have fun
Mukti said whispering the last line in her ear
Nandini nodded unwillingly.
They went to a pub and everyone was having fun while Manik and Dhruv were busy setting up a surprise for Nandini. Soon Manik and Dhruv were done. They high fived each other and then Dhruv went to Nandini
Dhruv: Nandini Shilpa aunty bahar hai... She's looking for you
Nandini: but what is she doing here?
Dhruv ignored the question and pulled her outside. Manik came from behind and put a blindfold on her
Nandini: Dhruv what are you doing?
Dhruv: Nandini there is so much light here... You should cover your eyes.
Nandini suddenly got a idea on why Dhruv got her here
Nandini shouting: Dhruv are you going to propose to me or something?
Maniks started coughing listening to that while they moved towards Maniks farmhouse which you could walk from the pub.
Manik and Dhruv ignoring all the stupid questions Nandini asked moved towards the farmhouse and they soon reached.
Dhruv whispered: best of luck
Nandini whispered: for what?
Dhruv: not talking to you
Nandini: then who?
Dhruv: your crazy lover
And saying this Dhruv ran away.
Manik opened the farmhouse door and took Nandini inside.
The farmhouse was filled with notes saying sorry and their pictures.
Manik opened Nandinis blindfold and kneeled down
Nandini was shocked to see Manik there...
Nandini: Manik what is happening?

Manik: I am sorry nandini... I should have trusted you

Nandini: enough manik... this is not one of our small fights... Manik how can you trust your friend but not me?

Nandini said crying her heart out

Manik: I'm really sorry Nandini... I know I'm stupid that I didn't
Nandini: no Manik not this time... I have moved on and it's better you do as well

Nandini was about to go when Manik held her hand
Manik: you are telling me to move on when I bloody love you?
Nandini stared at Manik
Manik: say it back
Nandini shouted: Manik malhotra I do not repeat my mistakes again
Nandini was again going when Manik pulled her back and her back hit his chest... She closed her eyes and tears rolled down her cheeks...
Manik hugged her from the stomach and closed his eyes
Manik whispered: so sorry Nandini... I love you to the moon... Nandini I got drunk that night and was unconscious...
Nandini looked at him shocked: what?

When Nandini was sleeping Veebha got Manik a drink which she had spiked and showed him the pictures

Manik broke down: Nandini I'm so sorry I can't believe Veebha could go down... I always thought of her as a friend but she tried to separate us... Nandini please come back
Nandini felt really guilty to leave Manik when it wasn't his fault
Nandini kneeled down and cupped Manik face and wiped his tears: I'm sorry too Manik... I should have known you were drunk by your behavior but I was too shocked that I couldn't see anything...
They both stood up and hugged... Nandini broke the hug and they were about to kiss when Manik said: stop

Nandini looked at him confusingly and Manik kneeled down
He took out a ring: Nandini I know I'm going to get married to Avni but this was her idea only...
Nandini: Manik we can't marry each other
Manik: we can Nandini, Avni is going to replace you for the marriage
Nandini: Manik this isn't right
Manik: Nandini would you like to become a malhotra all over again and remember if we are together nothing bad can happen
Nandini smiled: I would love to be a malhotra
Manik smiled back and put the ring... Manik got up and they kissed each other- it was the kiss they needed in all these years, it was full of promises of not leaving each other...
They joined their heads together
Manik+Nandini: I will trust you HUMESHA
