Few days later

It was a song shooting and they arranged a stage and colorful lights. Nandini came to the set with Navya to meet the director as he needed some changes in the script when she saw Manik and Aliya practicing dance steps together.

Aliya:- Hey Nandini.

Nandini:- Hi Aliya. How are you?

They hugged each other and Aliya said,

Aliya:- I am fine. What about you?

Nandini:- Absolutely fit and fine.

Manik:- What's up Nandini?

Nandini:- (with attitude) Ceiling I guess.

Manik:- Very funny. By the way, you here?

Nandini:- Director needs some changes in the script.

Manik:- Oh okay. Then don't go without watching our performance. We are going to set the stage on fire.

Nandini:- Don't break the stage otherwise I will cut your payment.

Manik:- (making faces) How rude.

Nandini completed her work and sat on a chair in front of the stage to watch their performance.

Director:- Ready?

Music was played in the background and they started dancing on the beat of the song. They were so busy dancing that they didn't notice the rope of the stage light which was hanging up was getting loose by the vibration of their dancing. Suddenly Nandini looked up and noticed it was about to fall down and Manik was dancing exactly under that light. Nandini immediately ran towards Manik shouting loudly,

Nandini:- Manik, step away.

The music was so loud that he couldn't hear anything she was saying and was busy dancing. Nandini ran to him and as soon as she pushed him, that stage light fell down and broke into pieces. They both fall on the floor and Nandini hits her forehead with a sharp corner of the stage.

Manik:- (Panicked) Oh shit. Nandini are you alright?

Manik stood up and helped her to stand up. She stood up rubbing her forehead only to see blood on her hand.

Manik:- Oh no she is bleeding. Someone please bring a fast aid box.

Nandini:- (angrily) It's okay. I am fine. Guys, what kind of careless behavior is it? What if I didn't see that light falling down?

Workers:- We are sorry ma'am.

Director:- Nandini I am apologizing on their behalf. They won't make such kinds of mistakes again.

Nandini:- They better not repeat their mistakes otherwise I know how to punish them. Navya cut 25% payment from their salary.

Navya:- Okay.

Manik:- Nandini your forehead is bleeding. Let's go to the hospital.

Nandini:- No Manik. It's okay.

Manik:- I am not listening to any lame excuse of yours. Come, let's go.

Manik took her to the hospital. Doctors did her dressing and bandaged her wound. After that Manik dropped her home.

Manik:- Thank you for saving my life today.

Nandini:- Well if something happened to you then it would be my loss. So your "thank you" is absolutely not needed.

Manik:- (smiled) You know what at first I thought you were rude. But now I understand you are not rude, you just hide your sweetness under those sarcastic words.

Nandini:- (rolling eyes) Whatever. I am going, bye.

Manik:- Bye.

Manik left there. Nandini went inside her apartment and removed a paper cutter from her skirt pocket and started playing with it.

Nandini:- (smirked) A spider slowly slowly makes a web that's why it never falls into its own trap.

Next Day
At the shooting set

Manik:- Nandini why are you on the set? You should rest at home.

Nandini:- Oh come on, it's just a small injury and I didn't want to miss Aliya's rocking performance. Isn't it Aliya?

Aliya:- (smiled) Aww that's my Nandini. Always full of confidence.

They hugged each other and Manik rolled his eyes in annoyance.

Nandini:- By the way I have good news. Guess what?

Aliya:- You have decided our shooting locations right?

Nandini:- Yes.

Manik:- Where are we going?

Nandini:- Okay I will be ready. Pick me up at 10 am. Happy?

Aliya hugged her tightly and said,

Aliya:- Aww Nandini, you are so sweet.

Nandini:- Are you planning to crush my bones?

Aliya broke the hug and said,

Aliya:- (holding ears) Sorry.

Nandini:- Aww Aliya you are so cute.
