Manik's Cabin

Manik was working in his laptop with a very distressed face. Anyone could guess that whatever he's doing is very important and hectic by looking at his face. He was rubbing his forehead time to time while typing.

" Knock " " Knock "

Manik ( bossy voice ): Come in..

And he heard footsteps nearing to his table.

" Good afternoon, Sir.." said someone and he looked up at the person and nodded and looked down to his laptop again..

Manik: What is it Natasha..??

Natasha ( honey voice ): Sir, this is the file which you've asked Rohan to get it for you..

Manik ( frowned ): As far as I remember, my P.A is Rohan which means if I ask him something to do then he's supposed to do it..

Natasha ( smiled seductively ): Yes sir, but he's a bit busy with one of your client on phone. So, I thought of helping him. Hope you've got no problem with it..

Manik ( nodded ): Keep it here..

She kept the file on his table and moved a bit more closer to him..

Natasha: Anything else, sir..??

He sighed in frustration, he very well knew about her intentions.

Manik ( sternly ): Had I wanted something, I would have asked you to..

Natasha ( battled her eyelashes ): You looked quiet tired, sir. I can help, sir..

Manik was about to lash out at her when he saw her moving closer towards him, and they both heard someone clearing his/her throat making them look at the person..

Manik ( sighed in relief ): Mrs. Malhotra...

But, instead of glancing at him, Nandini's gaze was on Natasha who looked nothing but annoyed by her presence.

Nandini ( bossy voice ): Anything else, miss..??

Natasha ( fake smiled ): No Mam..

Nandini ( nodded ): You can leave, then..

Natasha ( turned to Manik ): Sir, anything else you needed..??

Nandini made an emotionless face and looked at her while Manik glared at Natasha..

Manik ( angrily ): Didn't you hear what my wife said..???

Natasha ( grimly ): Yes sir...

Manik ( shouted ): Then, what the hell are you gaping at..?? Listen to what she said..

And Natasha had to run out of his cabin while Nandini, who till now didn't have any expression on her face looked at Manik who was smiling at her. She ignored it and sat on the couch..

Nandini ( sternly ): Your lunch..

She arranged the lunch on the tea-poi while he frowned seeing her ignorance towards him. He got up and moved towards the couch.

Nandini: Have it..

And she was about to move when he held her elbow..

Manik ( frowned ): And where are you going, Mrs. Malhotra..??

Nandini ( sarcastic grin ): Iceland..!! Wanna join..??

Manik ( narrowed his eyebrows ): Excuse me, what..??

She removed his hand from her elbow while glaring at him..

Nandini: I've got work unlike you, Mr. Malhotra. So, I'm leaving..

Manik ( shocked ): Tho tum mere saath lunch nahi karnewali ho kya..??

Nandini ( sternly ): Kyu..?? Karna chahiye kya..??

Manik ( irritated ): What does it even mean, Mrs. Malhotra..?? Pichle 3 mahine se hum saath mein tho lunch karthe hain aur aaj achanak se tum bhool gayi kya..??

Nandini ( fake sweetly ): Aw, tho aapko yaad hai, mujhe laga aap bhool gaye honge ye sab. Waise, aapko meri kya zaroorath the..?? Yaha pe aur koi thi aapko accompany karne keliye..

Manik ( forwned ): Mujhe accompany karne keliye koi aur thi..kya bol rahe ho tum..?? Mujhe kuch samaj nahi aa raha hai..

Nandini ( glared ): Aapke bas ke baath nahi hai. For an advice, jab aise ladkiyon ko apne company mein hire karthe hai tho beewi ko office mein math bulao, aur irritate hojayega..

And then, it clicked his mind, like finally. He smirked at her after knowing the reason while she simply glared at him and moved towards the door. Seeing it, he ran to her and pulled her by waist before she could open the door.

Manik ( smirked ): So..that was the reason for your this mood, huh..??

She was struggling to get out of his hold without listening to whatever he was saying..

Manik: Come on beewi sahiba, aapko ab thak tho aadath hona chahiye ki aap kabhi bhi mere bahon se baahar nahi jaa sakthe..

Nandini ( annoyed ): Mr. Malhotra..let go off me..

Manik ( chuckled ): You think so..??

Nandini ( sarcastically ): Oh, I don't think so but I seriously know how to get out of a man's hold. You should know what I'm talking about..

Manik ( rolled his eyes ): You can't pull that stunt on me, after all, you too need that part of mine. Uh, you know why, right..

She widened her eyes while he was smirking at her shamelessly. She stomped on his foot making him yelp in pain and his hold on her immediately loosened..

Nandini ( smirked ): Aise karne se kisiko bhi tes nahi pohanchega..

She opened the door and walked out when he pulled her inside the cabin making every employees see it and the female employees had to look at each other angrily..

While inside, Manik locked his cabin and Nandini looked at him annoyingly. He leaned on the door and pulled her to him..

Manik: Chalo, ab bath karo..

But, she preferred to stay silent making him sigh. He turned her face to him and she looked down.

Manik ( sighed ): Beewi sahiba, mene aisa bhi kya kiya jo tum mujhse naraaz ho..?? Tumhe tho patha hona chahiye na ki mein tumhare alawa aur kisike barein mein sochatha hi nahi..Bharosa nahi karthi ho kya mujhpe..??

She snapped her head at him after hearing him only to see his eyes which spoke how hurt he was. She cupped his cheeks and nodded in No..

Nandini: Aisa nahi hai. I do trust you. I know, you don't even think about any girl other than me but you were simply looking at her when she was trying to get close to you. You didn't even get angry at her. Isiliye mein tumse gussa hoon..

He looked at her puffed cheeks and made a sad face..

Manik: Ab ye tho meri galathi hi hai. Par mein bohath tired tha, I was indulged in my work, so she was just irritating me and before I could do something, you came in between...

Nandini ( widened her mouth ): In between..? You mean I came in between you both..??

Manik ( horrified ): What..? When did I even say that..??

Nandini ( angrily ): Jo tumne kaha, uska mathlab wahi tha, like I made a displeased entry..

Manik ( palmed his face ): Meri jaan, mera mathlab wo nahi tha..I meant, you came in between our not-so-pleasant conversation where she was trying to seduce me and I was trying to control my self from firing her..It's only because of you that she got herself saved from my wrath. She's new here so she doesn't know about my attitude much. And, she doesn't know that I don't like her being close with me too..

And she nodded at him with a straight face..

Nandini: Phir bhi, it was your fault..I don't like her..

Manik ( smirked ): Aaha..?? You don't like her..?? Uh, don't you think something is burning..??

Nandini ( glared ): Nope, but something is really gonna burn and you have to pray to God that I don't end up in burning your favorite sneakers..

He really looked scared with it..

Manik: What..?? Mrs. Malhotra, not my sneakers. Pehle bhi, tumne mere favorite pen burn kar chuki ho..

Nandini ( shrugged her shoulders ): Haa tho, you deserved it. I've already asked you not to embarrass me in front of our family by romancing with me every now and then. Par, tumne kya kiya..?? You kissed on my cheeks in front of Bhabis. Do you even know how embarrassing it was for me..??

Manik ( smirked ): What's there to embarrass, Mrs. Malhotra..? It's common in between husband and his wife..

Nandini ( disbelievingly ): Seriously..?? Public romancing is also common..??

Manik ( grinned ): Of course..I had seen worst, especially from Dad..

She palmed her face..

Nandini: Mein aapse bath karne hi nahiwali hoon..hato, mujhe jaana hai..

Manik ( stubborn ): Nope, jab thak tum mere saath lunch nahi karogi thab thak jaane nahi doonga..

Nandini ( annoyed ): Mein aapse gussa hoon..

Manik ( sighed ): Kya karna ha, phir..??

Nandini ( narrowed her eyebrows ): Kuch bhi karoge..?

Manik ( sadly ): Ab kya kare, mujhe tho tumhare bina neend hi nahi aatha aur tum ho ki jabbhi gussa hai tho mujhse kam se kam 1 K.M dhoor rehthi ho..

Nandini ( grinned ): Usse punishment kehthe hai..Waise, wo bhi ek acha idea hai, kyu na hum...

Manik ( shouted ): No...tum kuch bhi karwao but wo nahi. I can't stay away from you..

Nandini ( giggled ): Acha teek hai. Tho, aapka punishment hai...Kal ke breakfast mein jo healthy dish Bade Daadu ko dena hai wo aap banaenge..

Manik ( shocked ): What....??

Nandini ( grinned ): You heard me right..

Manik ( still shocked ): Are you serious..?? Mujhe cooking ki A thak nahi aathe tho A-Z kaise kar sakthe hain..

Nandini ( smirked ): Ye tho aapka problem hai, mera kuch nahi hai ismein. Par, mera ek aur option bhi hain..

Manik ( grinned ): Really..?? Tho bathao na..

Nandini ( casually ): Yahi ki, aap agar cook nahi kar sakthe hai tho, second option ye hain, ki mein ek din keliye Chopra's Mansion chali jaathi hoon..

Manik ( pissed ): What the hell..?? Ye kaunsa second option hai, Mrs, Malhotra..??

Nandini ( innocently ): Ab aapko ye bhi ache nahi lagthe ho tho, mein ek kaam karthi hoon, aapko ek hafthe Cabir Bhai ke kamre mein hi sone dethi hoon, you must be missing your fun-days with your brothers..I'll ask Navya Bhabi to join me in our room.

Manik ( annoyed ): Mein Bade Daadu keliye dish banatha hoon..

She grinned and pulled his cheeks..

Nandini: You're soo cute..

He made a bad face but then pulled her more to him..

Manik: So...??

Nandini ( pushed his face ): So, nothing..we're gonna have our lunch..

Manik ( bad face ): You're so unromantic, Mrs. Malhotra..

Nandini ( glared ): Ghar pe har waqt yahi karthe hai aap aur ab office mein bhi..??

Manik ( grinned ): Aapko isse mera energy dose kehna chahiye..romancing is my favorite stuff..

Nandini ( giggled ): Wo tho mein jaan chuki hoon. Ab aao, lunch karthe hain..

He nodded and kissed her forehead and moved to have lunch.

Manik: Hmm..my favorite..Biryani..

Nandini smiled and filled his plate with biryani and gave it to him who started eating it like he hasn't eaten it in his life, ever..

Nandini ( sighed ): Mr. Malhotra..thoda dheere khao na..Cabir Bhai bhi nahi hai yaha jo aapka khana le jaa sakthe..

Manik ( still eating ): Tho mein kya karun..mujhe bohath pasand hai ye..especially when its prepared by you..

She palmed her face and started eating..

Manik: Waise, tumne ye seekha kisse, mathlab, you're a vegetarian but you're making Chicken Biryani for me..

Nandini ( smiled ): Mom se seekha mene..

Manik ( chuckled ): Mathlab, har baath pe mother-in-law ko hi pakadthe ho tum..

She slapped his arms lightly making him chuckle again..

Nandini: Mom mujhse pyar karthe hai, isiliye aapko jalan hua hai..

Manik ( muttered ): Haa haa, saara ka pyar Mom ko mil rahe hai, aur mera kya..har waqt no for romancing..

Nandini ( glared ): Suna mene..

And he showed his teeth to her making her smile too..Soon, they were done with their lunch.

Manik: Chalo, I'll drop you today.

Nandini: Kyu..? Mein apne car mein hi aayi hoon..

Manik ( sarcastically ): Isiliye tho drop karnekeliye aa raha hoon.

Nandini ( whined ): Not again, Mr. Malhotra. Mein choti bachi nahi hoon..

Manik ( sighed ): Tum mere baath samajne ke koshish tho karo pehle. You're a private Investigator, so it isn't safe for you to drive alone.

Nandini ( smiled ): Ye sab tho aapki galathfehmi hain. Haa, we private investigators have enemies par iska mathlab ye tho nahi ki hum kahi jaa nahi sakthe. And, mera car bulletproof hain aur mein yaha se seedha mera office hi jaa rahi hoon. Kahi nahi rukhegi. Khush..??

He smiled and nodded at her. She too smiled and took his hand and made him sit on his chair and she moved at the back of his chair and kept her hand in his hair..

Manik ( frowned ): Kya kar rahe ho tum..??

Nandini: Shh..thode der keliye chup chap beit jaa..

And he listened to what she said. She started massaging his hair making him relax. He closed his eyes feeling relaxed and peaceful. A small smile played on his lips throughout the massage.

Nandini ( smiled ): Are you fine, now..??

She knew he will be affected by his work because he has told her about an important project where he's dealing with some international clients and he wanted to bag the deal, badly.

Manik ( smiled ): Never better..

And he pulled her on his lap making her surprise. He kissed her forehead and she entwined their fingers in return.

Nandini: Ab mein jaoon..??

He looked at her sadly and she immediately kissed his cheeks.

Nandini: You can we'll leave at 7 aur uskeliye bas 5 ghante baaki hai..

Manik ( pouted ): 5 ghanta kuch zyada tho nahi..

Nandini ( giggled ): Ji nahi. Bas 300 minutes hain..

And he glared at her for her not so funny joke. She snaked her arms around his neck and rubbed her nose with his.

Nandini ( whispered ): We have one whole night to spend out time with each other..

He smiled and kissed her forehead..

Manik: Jaa, isse pehle mein apna decision badal saktha hoon..

She nodded at him and got up from his lap and moved out of his cabin and he smiled at her retreating figure and soon, he got busy with his work.

At night

In Malhotra Mansion

MaNan's Bedroom

Nandini was sitting on the bed with Mihika in her arms who was doing nothing but poking Nandini's cheeks and she was doing the same with the little baby too.

Nandini: Baby boo..mujhe poke karna bandh karo warna mein bhi poke karna nahi chodoongi..

But Mihika kept poking her and Nandini was no less. She too started poking Mihika's cheeks and both started giggling at each other. Nandini kept Mihika on the bed and kissed her cheeks and in return she got a kiss from Mihika on her cheeks. And in that way they kissed each other while giggling without any reason.

Soon, Manik walked out of his washroom only to see the 2 babies playing with each other's cheeks making him smile. He moved towards the bed and jumped on it which made both the girls to glare at him.

Manik: What..?? This is my bed too..

Nandini: Oh really..?? Then, it doesn't mean, you can break it..Between, tumne hamara game ke beech mein aaya, hai na baby boo..

And Mihika nodded at her for which Manik made a bad face..

Manik: Princess, aap bohath buri hai, jaise hi chachi aayi, apne chachu ko bhool gayi..

While Mihika made a confused face, she didn't understand what he said.

Mihika: Tachu..hu..tachi..??( Chachu, who is Chachi..?? )

Nandini ( poked Mihika's nose ): Oho baby, tachi nahi..chachi..aur tum mujhe aise math bulao..cheeky hi cute lagthi hai..aapke chachu mere barein mein bath kar rahe the..

And Mihika showed her teeth to them making them awe at her..

Nandini: Awe, she's so adorable. I really wanna eat her up..

Manik ( whispered in her ear ): Well, i wanted to eat someone else, you know..

She turned crimson and he bit her cheeks making her shock..

Nandini: Mr. Malhotra..kya kar rahe ho..baby boo hai yaha..

Manik ( teased ): Agar aise chalthe rahoge tho hamara baby kaise aayega, Mrs. Malhotra..

She managed to glare at him though her cheeks were in deep red making his smirk grow wide. He laid on the bed and made Nandini lay on him along with Mihika..

( Imagine them not sleeping )

Manik: Chalo, chachu ko kissy dho, princess..

And he showed his cheeks to Mihika who kissed his cheeks and he kissed her back and Nandini preferred to admire them. They both started playing and all she did was to admire them, she could see the best father in Manik ever before having their own baby.

Manik ( frowned ): Soch kya rahe ho, beewi sahiba..

Nandini ( smiled ): That, my husband could be the best father in the world.

And he stared at her in astonishment. There was no awkwardness in her voice when she was speaking about it and seeing his shocked face, she simply snuggled into him and hugged Mihika closed to them who was sucking her thumb.

Nandini: You're the best, Mr. Malhotra. A best son, a best father, a best husband and you will be the best father. I can see it..

He smiled and kissed her head..

Manik: So, when are we going to have our baby, then..?? You know we need to work for it..

She slapped his arms making him chuckle. Mihika, slowly shifted her self to Nandini's chest making them look at her. She kept her cheeks on Nandini's chest for getting her heat and this made Nandini smile while Manik looked confused.

Manik: She always does it when she's with you. Why is it..??

Nandini: Because she wants to sleep, now. Aur jab bache sona chahthe hai tho, unhe heat ke zaroorath hai, so they tend to get close to our skin. Naitik used to do the same..

She got emotional when she talked about Naitik and he caressed her cheeks..

Nandini ( smiled ): I'm just missing him, I'm fine..

Manik ( smiled ): I know..

Soon, Mihika was asleep and Nandini dropped a kiss on her forehead. And, she felt a pair of lips on her neck making her moan. He trailed kisses all over her neck and then to her chest. He bit her neck which made her to moan a bit more louder. That was his first lovebite on her skin and she felt extreme content with his mark on her body.

He entwined their fingers and stared at her lips and she clutched Mihika in one hand while the other hand was on his shirt..

Manik ( huskily ): Do you know how to read my eyes..??

She stared in his eyes and knew what he wanted..

Nandini: Kiss me, then..

Tt didn't take him a second to keep his lips on her's and they were drowned in the pool pf passion. Their first kiss. Their first kiss with the one whom they wanted to be with, forever. Maybe, their love.

He sucked her lips softly and left them, only to get them back in his mouth, but this time, he sucked them hungrily and a loud moan left her mouth..

Manik ( panting heavily ): Should I thank you..??

Nandini ( blushed ): What am I supposed to do of you thank me..??

He smiled and rested his forehead on her's and they felt content. She snuggled more into him and for once, they didn't let the baby away from them.
