Nandini got up the next morning at 5a.m. freshened up and then woke up Navya.

Navya also had a bath and both of them revised the notes for two hours.

Then they went down to have breakfast.

Navya's Mom was setting the breakfast table.

Navya's Mom - Aao Ladkiyo. Jaldi se breakfast karlo.
(Come girls. Have your breakfast)

Nandini and Navya sat down for breakfast.

Navya Mom- Navya tumne theek se padhai ki hai na.
(Navya have you studied properly?)

Navya - Haan Maa.
(Yes Mom)

Navya Mom-

Nandini ki to tension nahi hai mujhe.
(I don't have to worry about Nandini)

Wo toh exam me top karegi.
(She will definitely top the exams)

But pata nahi tum kya gul khilaogi is baar.
(But I don't know what you are gonna do this time)

Tumhare Dad puch rahe the tumhari padhai ke baare me.

(Your Dad was asking about how your studies are going on)

Navya got scared hearing this.

Navya -

Maa please aap Dad ko samjhaiye na .
(Mom please handle Dad na)

This time I will definitely get good marks.

Maine ache se padhai ki hai .
(I have studied well)

Navya Mom- Dekhte hai.
(Let's see)

Nandini -

Navya chale. Der horahi hai exam ke liye.
(Navya let's go. We are getting late for the exam)

Both Navya and Nandini left for the exam centre after bidding good bye to Navya's Mom.

Nandini and Navya sat on Navya's bike and left for the college.

Navya was riding and Nandini was sitting behind her.

Nandini and Navya stopped at the signal.

Both of them were busy in their chatting when Nandini's dupatta got flown away and fell on the face of a guy who was on a bike with his friend.

Nandini immediately got down and asked Navya to wait and rushed to the guy to get her dupatta.

As soon as Nandini reached the guy, the signal got green and Navya called Nandini to come quickly.

The guy took the dupatta off his face and handed it to Nandini.

Nandini took the dupatta from him and rushed to Navya after saying a thanks to the guy.

Nandini couldn't see the person's face as he was wearing a helmet. But the guy saw Nandini and smiled.

Then Navya and Nandini left from there and so did the guy.

Nandini and Navya reached college and attended their exam.

Both of them wrote the paper very well and returned home.

They changed their clothes and had their lunch.

Then both of them sat down for studying for the next exam.

While reading Nandini remembered the morning incident.

Nandini selfthought -

Pata nahi kaun tha wo.
(Who was that guy?)

Mai uska chehra toh nahi dekh payi but uski aankhein.....

(I couldn't see his face but his eyes...)

His eyes were so expressive.

I wish I could see his face.

Navya snapped her fingers before Nandini's eyes and brought her out of her dreamland.

Navya- Kaha khogayi ho Nandu.
(Where are you lost Nandu?)

Mai kafi der se dekh rahi hoon .
Tumhara dhyan padhai me nahi hai.
(I am observing you for quite some time. You are not concentrating on your book)

Kya.... Scene kya hai???
(What's the matter)

Nandini - Scene...... What scene?

Aisa kuch nahi hai. Tum jakar padhai karo warna mai Aunty ko bata doongi.

(It's nothing of that sort. You go n concentrate on your studies or else I will inform Aunt about you)
Navya -

Arey yaar tum dost ho ya dushman.

(Are you my friend or enemy?)

Ye baar baar Maa ki dhamki mat diya karo.
(Don't threaten me by taking Mom's name)

Jarahi hu mai padhai karne.
(I m going back to my studies)

Saying this Navya went back to her books to read.

Nandini also chucked all her thoughts and got back to studies.

All their exams got completed.

On their final exam, Nandini and Navya were again stuck at the same signal.

Nandini observed here and there to see if she could locate the guy whom she had seen a couple of days back but didn't find him.

Nandini mentally slapped herself for being stupid.

After the last exam, Nandini got a call from her mother to come to their village in vacations as Nandini's cousin was getting married.

Nandini agreed as Nandini had always liked the village weddings.

Nandini asked Navya also to join her .

Navya wanted to join Nandini but had to visit her Grandfather along with her mom .

Nandini finally packed her bags and left to the railway station to go to her village.

Nandini got stuck in traffic jam and reached the station late.

The train had already started.

Nandini ran as fast as she could along with her bag to catch the train.

But the train Was gathering speed.

Nandini was running to catch the train. Suddenly someone offered a hand to Nandini and she held the hand.

The person pulled Nandini inside the compartment of the train.

Nandini heaved a sigh of relief.

She turned to face the person who had pulled her inside and said-

Thanks help karne ke liye.
(Thanks for helping me out)

Mujhe to laga tha ki Maine train miss kardi.
(I thought that I would miss the train)

Agar aap meri help nahi karte to pata nahi mai ghar kaise pahunchti time pe.
(If you had not helped me, I would never reach  home on time)

Nandini said all this in a go.

The person who pulled Nandini inside just said - It's Ok .

Then he went and sat on his seat.
