Nandini Murthy,an innocent sweet and a cute girl was pacing to and fro in her room.

She was very nervous or rather scared.

She suddenly heard a knock on the window.

Nandini went and opened the window and there stood a girl of Nandini's age.
The girl was completely drenched as it was raining outside.

Nandini - Navya ki bachchi aaj to tumne mujhe marwa hi diya tha.

Yes the girl at the window was none other than Navya.

Navya was Nandini's best friend.

Nandini was staying at Navya's house in Amritsar to complete her education.

Nandini was basically from Hoshiarpur.

Nandini's mother was a Punjabi and father was a South Indian .

Nandini's father Vivek Murthy fell in love with her mother Swati Kaur when he had come to visit the city of Hoshiarpur with his friends and eventually both of them got married.

Swati put a condition before Vivek that she would not leave her parents as she was the only daughter of her parents and no one was there to take care of them.

Vivek agreed and set up his business in Hoshiarpur itself.

Vivek's parents lived in Mangalore with Vivek's younger brother Vishwa Murthy and his family.

So basically Nandini was half north Indian and half South Indian.

Oopssss...... enough of the family history/background.

Let's come back to the story.

Navya was standing at the window and Nandini started giving long lecture to her.

Navya - Arey meri Dadi Amma Pehle mujhe andar to aane de. Phir kitna Chahe utna suna Lena.

Saying this Navya forwarded her hand for Nandini to hold it and pull her inside.

Nandini pulled Navya inside.

Nandini - Navya tumhe apne Parents se jhoot bolte hue Zara si bhi hichkichahat nahi hoti.

Navya - Hey Bhagwaan ...... Mai jhoot kaha bolti hu. Mai to bas sach chipati hoon.

Nandini - Baat to wahi Hui na. Roz roz late night parties roz naye boyfriends. Kaise kar leti ho tum ye sab.

Navya - Isiko to talent kehte hai meri jaan. Jo har Kisi ke paas nahi hota. Bhagwaan ye talent gine chune logo ko hi dete hai. Aur I m one of those lucky ones.

Saying this Navya winked at Nandini.

Nandini rolled her eyes and got up.

Nandini - Pata nahi kya hoga is ladki ka.

Navya- Waise Nandini tum love marriage karogi ya arranged.

Nandini - Abhi to mai padhai karungi. Yaad hai na kal first exam hai hamara.

Navya - Oh shit. Mai to bhool hi gayi thi. Maine to bilkul bhi padhai nahi ki.

Saying this she immediately changed into her night wear and sat down to study.

Nandini laughed at her and got busy in her studies as well.

While reading, Nandini thought about Navya's question- Nandini tum Love marriage karogi ya arranged marriage.

Nandini had grown up hearing the cute and lovely incidents of her parents love story .

She had always dreamt of a love marriage.

Navya saw Nandini lost in thoughts and said- Nandu kya soch rahi ho. Apne Prince Charming ke bare me to nahi soch rahi?

Nandini came out of her thoughts and said- Navya Shutup. Chup chap padhai karo warna mai Aunty ko bata doongi ke tum kaha gayi thi.

Hearing this Navya got scared and went back to her reading.

Both of them studied for few hours and went to sleep at 1 a.m. after wishing good night to each other.
