Next morning was OT day

Nandini was getting ready wearing scrubs with a smile

Navya: oho, someone's too happy???
Nandini: nothing like that.. i am just thinking how to face him?
Navya: arehhh chill..!!! Let it go with flow.. everything will be alright.
Nandini: yaah chalo let's go.

In OT:

Nandini and navya reached OT. Manik and others were already there. Manik and Nandini saw each other and smiled through the mask.

Manik: how many cases are there?
JR1: sir 3.. !
Manik: ohk! What's for me?
JR1: leg abscess
Manik: ohk so it's just an abscess right? I don't need any assistance from JR.

Then he saw Nandini

Manik: I'll do the drainage with help of one intern. Nandini you'll wash with me.
Nandini: ok sir😅

Jr was confused as to what happened to Manik because he never took assistance from an intern but then brushed off thinking it might be just a co incidence.

In the OT room:

Manik: wash your hands. Today you'll assist me
Nandini: ok.

She was washing her hands when Manik came and started washing his hands.

Manik: excited?
Nandini: kinda nervous too!
Manik: don't worry I'm here!
Nandini: I know

Voices of both of them showed that Manik would never leave her side and Nandini trusts him with that.

They both got washed and dressed for surgery.
Patient was induced with anaesthesia. Manik took incision over the abscess.

Manik: hold the cautery and cut along the incision line
Nandini did as she was told
Manik: awesome! Now use your index finger and drain out all the pus pockets
Nandini did it
Manik: very good! Then he called a faculty, he checked it and was happy with Nandini's work and the way Manik taught her. And then went.

Manik: ok now wound closure time! Take the suture holding forceps and hold suture with it.
Nandini: me??? I have never ever done a suture!!
Manik: don't worry I'm here!
He came on Nandini's side held her hand and got her to do sutures and close the wound.

All this was witnessed by the JR1 who was now sure that something is going on between these two.

Wound was closed and antiseptic dressing was done. Manik and Nandini were so close that both of them could feel sparks erupting from their body.

Manik: after surgery meet me in the changing room.
Nandini: ohk 😅😅

After surgery was complete and patients were shifted in ward for observation, Nandini went inside changing room searching for Manik. A hand pulled her inside one of the changing room

Nandini: what the.....
Manik: shshhh and slammed his lips on hers
Both kissed for few minutes then parted to catch air . Manik joined his forehead with hers and smiled
Nandini: Manik? Didn't we have a pact that no one would know about us and now you pulling in changing rooms 😒🤨
Manik in a husky voice: I don't care !! Anyways shift with me!
Nandini: heinnn what??? She couldn't process what Manik said
Manik: pack your bags and come live with me🤷🏻
Nandini: are you saying that we should start live in relationship
Manik: yes Nandini!!🤷🏻
Nandini: acha! How come suddenly??😅😅
Manik: you ask a lot of questions

Nandini pouted at this and Manik kissed her!

Manik: go go pack your bags, say goodbye to your best friend, I'll pick you up at 5pm
Nandini: ok!

Both were happy ... actually dancing from inside..
Nandini because she was getting all love and respect and care
Manik because he was getting Nandini
