Unfortunately, the beating came to stop when the security guards rushed in and broke up the fight.

Manik- wat do u know, hmmm, this guy pointing towards Maddy who calls himself step father of Nandini is actually tried to harrass Nandini and inspite of blaming him you are blaming her who has no fault at all.....

Princi- (apologetically) Sorry Nandini

Manik- Wat sorry??? Call police right now...

Princi- But police will ask for proof, Do you have any proof????

Manik- Proof..... Then he calls someone

Mr Singh, the lawyer comes in, with bad news. There is a video camera in that building and it would have solved the problem but the video was stolen so it's just Nandini's words against Maddy's words and no concrete evidence.

Manik was tensed......

Princi- Sorry Manik but this can't happen as it will affect the reputation of college and Nyonika Ma'am will be too angry with all this....

Manik is extremely displeased at the principal's refusal to call the police who pleads that it will bring a bad reputation to the college.

Nandini moves out from there silently..
Frustrated and angry, Manik goes after the pervert Maddy again but is blocked off by Mr Singh who begins lecturing him.

This gives time for Maddy and Soha to move out from there.....

"Sure, beating him will give the feeling of revenge but what justice will that bring to the victim?" Said Mr Singh

Angry Manik slams his fist on the table.

"Sooo... Wat???? Kya karu main????" Said Manik

"Every problem has a solution" said Mr Singh

"But the video is missing. We can't call the police under the questionable innocence of Nandini, and they won't believe anything as I say. The police will only ask the rubbish question, this will only let the victim be hurt again!!!! This concept, I still understand. But what options do I have left to convict Maddy?" Asked Manik

"Manik, fists can't solve everything. There'll definitely be a solution to this problem, and fists are not involved." said Mr Singh calmly

The lawyer Mr Singh has a very convincing fatherly image however he's not a father.....

Scene: Nandini's home
At home, Soha yells the crap out of the pervert who continues to blame Nandini for seducing him. At first, Soha was skeptical that Nandini would not do such a thing for money but then Maddy revealed that Nandini wanted money to move out...

Furious, Soha confronts Nandini in her room

Nandini- Aunty

Soha- keep your mouth Shut

She starts searching in her room and finds an envelope with money. Nandini nods her head, affirming the fact she needed money to pay for college application fee.

" It's true that I want to enter college but I never seduce him. That money came from my own working income that I saved. I didn't sell myself. I want to move out, because this person pointing towards Maddy takes every opportunity to secretly harass me when you're not around. That's why..."

Nandini holds her cheek with one hand..

She simply refuses to believe her.

She packs Nandini's things and holds her hand and throw her bag on the street...

Poor Nandini is thrown out of the house!!!

Kicked out her home and with no place to go, Nandini tearfully holds onto the only memory of family she has left....

She take her bag and turns only to become shocked to see Manik....

"Don't shed tears for people who don't care about you" Manik tells her, gently wiping the tears strolling down her cheeks.......

One phone call and he's got a house for her to live in. (The house belongs to Jack, Manik's friend farmhouse because he can't keep her in his house due to Nyonika).

Manik brings her to the house while Nandani was lost in her trail of thoughts that how the hell is her life in the morning she got kidnapped, in the afternoon she got rescued, at dinner time she nearly got raped, at night time she got kicked out. This is too much for anyone....

Manik showed her the room and she can't hold herself more so she make an excuse and move towards washroom...

In the washroom, Nandini notices red marks on her neck and her wrists, reminding her of the earlier incident of evening.

Unable to hold in anymore, she lets it in out first in muffled cries, not wanting to let Manik hear her.

But as her tears start to flood out, she opens the shower and lets the running water hide her crying.

After few minutes she comes in the room.... After shower time, it's time for a bedtime story!

Manik sees her red eyes and understands her inner turmoil.... He was holding himself with very difficulty... Manik comes towards her and holds her hands, he make her lay down on the bed and tug her with blanket...

Manik sees that now also she was not closing her eyes so he thought to cheer her.....

"A long long time ago, there was a princess. She was kidnapped by a demon lord. The demon lord said to her, 'You can scream as loud as you can until you burst lungs', nobody will come to save you. And so the princess screamed, "Burst Lungs!!!" And Nobody came to save her."

"You're a bad joker." Said Nandini

"I am not, I just want to make you laugh. I also want to tell you, in the future, if you encounter any danger, don't call 'Burst Lungs', call 'Manik Malhotra' and I will came save you."

Nandini and looked towards Manik with tearful eyes....

There is a moment of awkward silence so Manik excuses himself to get a glass of milk for her. And when he comes back, she's already asleep.

He looks at her sleeping figure and blames himself for her misfortune that ensured earlier.

Manik's pov
It was all my mistake, naa hi main Nandini ko bulata aur naa hi uske saath ye sab hota.... Agr uske saath aaj kuch ho jaata toh main aapne aap ko kabhi maaf nhi kr paata, kabhi nhi... Aur voo Maddy usko toh main sazaa dilwa kar hi rhunga chahe mujhe kuch bhi krna pade, He will be behind bar soon.....continued with next part
