"nandu.. ill look after them.. sleep for some time na.. you will fall sick other wise..." manik said looking at nandini who was looking at her kids sleeping in a cradle just beside her bed. It was the next day of her delivery and she was still not discharged on manik's wish. He wanted the doctors to have a complete check up of babies and Nandini because according to him they were born a week earlier to what the doctors thought.

"manik what if they wake up in the mid night.. tum so jao.. ill look after them.." she said weakly. Manik sat beside her and said after wrapping a hand around her "nanduu.. apne aap ko dekha hai.. you are looking so weak and pale.. agar properly rest nahi karogi.. toh kaisae chalaega.. chalo you sleep.. if the babies wake up.. im there na.." and made her lie in his lap and without giving her a chance to protest gave a peck on her lips and palmed her eyes.

She having no other choice closed her eyes and slept within few minutes as she really got tired taking care of babies the whole day feeding them playing with them and most difficult part was making them sleep as one would wake up with the cries of the other. Manik too dozed off as he was also tired.. it was just a beginning... handling two kids at a time was not an easy task...

NEXT MORNING :

Cabir entered the room and forgetting that there were two little people room said in his loud and chirpy voice "goood morning nanduuu.." nandini immediately widened her eyes at his loud voice as the babies after lots and lots of difficulty had slept just a few minutes ago but the damage was done. Both woke up with a jerk and started crying.

Manik gave a glare to cabir and picked up the girl and nandini took the boy and both started trying to make them sleep but they were in no mood to stop crying. Manik moved to cabir and said in an angry whisper

"dimag naam ki koi cheez hai ki nai.. itnae zor sae kaun chillatha hai bacchon kae paas aatae waqt... duffer kahi ka.. pata nai how did navya handle cavya with you around.." and slowly started moving the baby to and fro in his arms to make her sleep. She was not at all sleeping.. and when finally when manik made her sleep with her tiny head resting on his shoulder humming a sweet lullaby she finally slept.

Nandini also sighed in relief seeing the babies sleep and manik placed both of them back in the cradle and said turning to cabir who got scared as he didn't expect to happen so "cabir grow up... ek bacchii ka baap hai tu.. how could be so careless.." manik said and sat beside cabir who was sitting on the couch of the room.

"yaar manik ab mujhae kya pata ki bacchae aaisae jag jayangae... cavya was not like this.. tare bacchae bhi bilkul tarae hi tarah badmash hai...huhh...!!!" and turned his face to look at nandini who was almost in a falling condition as she fell asleep and immediately got up and ran towards her and said holding her head and placing her head on the pillow properly

"yaar manik.. yae itni jaldi so gayi.. aur apna dhyaan bhi nai hai usae.. tu kya kar raha tha..." and after covering her with the blanket properly turned towards him on getting no reply and saw manik was also resting his head with the hand of the sofa and sleeping and smiled looking both the parent malhotras totally tired and moved to the cradle where the baby malhotras were sleeping and said in a low tone looking at them

"hmm.. so babies.. aap dono nae aapne mumma papa ko bahuth pareshan kiya hoga kal raath ko.. isiliyae becharae so gayae even when I was talking... I toh pity your mumma only.. because when you both were not there your dad had the habit of making her sleep less ab aap.. hota hai hota hai... but your mamu loves you chooo much... hehe.. aaisae hi tang karna apnae papa ko because vo bhi kuch kam shararthi nahi tha... chalo.. aap bhi sleep peacefully for sometime phir aapkae chachu chachi mami mama aur aapsae just those badi di aapsae milnae aanae walae hai.." and kissed their foreheads carefully not to disturb their sleep and texted in their group

"baby malhotra's and parent malhotra's are sleeping come after sometime." All saw the text decided to go after sometime as all the 4 needed rest.

After an hour :

Manik woke up with a jerk and rubbed his eyes to register his surroundings and found cabir in front of him reading magazine with ear phones in his ear and looked at nandini who was sleeping on the bed and got up from his seat and that was when he caught cabir's attention. Cabir removed his earphones and said getting up

"manik.. thodi der aur so ja.. babies abhi new born hai na.. aaisae time sleep when ever you get time.. because once they are up.. they won't let you sleep even if you are feeling sleepy.." and smiled looking at his face which was tired.

Manik looked at him and said "how could I sleep like that cabir.. what if nandini needed my help.. what if someone tried to harm my babies when they are sleeping.. im such a careless father cabir.." and sat back on the chair hiding his face with his palms.

Cabir smiled and sat beside him and kept his hand on his shoulder and said

"manik.. stop thinking non sense.. pagal hai tu.. you are the best father.. aur agar soya nahi toh tu beemar pad jayaega aur nandu ko 2 nahi 3 baccho ki dekh baal karni hogi.. chill.." manik smiled weakly and cabir said

"manik relax.. aaisa kuch bhi nahi hai jaisa you are thinking.. chill.. take rest for sometime.. im here only.." and cabir made him lie on the couch properly and covered him with the blanket and soon manik drifted into sleep.

"manik hum function ghar pae hi rakhangae.." nandini said looking at manik who was busy playing with the kids and as a result of which he didn't listen to what nandini was saying.

Nandini tapped her foot in annoyance and said after slapping his shoulder hard "tum sun bhi rahae ho ya nahi...!!!" manik gave her an irritated look and said rubbing his shoulder where he got shot by her

"nandu.. kya ho gaya hai tumhae.. why are you hitting me..."

"manik from the past 10 minutes im calling you and you are asking me ki why im hitting you.. aaiyappaa...!!!!"

"toh kya you couldn't call me once more.." he continued in the same annoyed tone. Nandini sighed and said

"ok fine.. manik can you please give me your precious two minutes I have something very important to talk.." manik pretended to think and when he saw nandini picking up a pillow definitely to throw at him he said sitting beside her wrapping his hand around her shoulders

"jaan.. mera poora time tumhara hi toh hai... bolo what do you want to speak about..?" nandini again got excited and said

"manik after a week there will b the naming ceremony of our kids na.. toh I want it to be held in the house itself... kitna accha hoga na... it will be their first function and I want it to be at home only.. what do you say..?" and gave him a excited expression.

Manik smiled and pulled her cheeks and said

"as my queen wishes... tum jahan chahathi ho wahi hoga aur jaisae tum chahathi ho sab kuch bilkul vaisae hi hoga... happy..?" to which she bobbed her head like a 2 year old and manik smiled. He was about to capture her lips for a kiss when one the baby started crying and pushing manik away nandini rushed to them followed by manik.

Now both had started crying and manan picked up each of them and started mollycoddling them. Nandini realised ki they were hungry and sat on the bed to feed the little one in her arms first and then the second baby and started with it. Manik came and sat beside her with baby in his arms and what manan saw next made them smile widely and nandini's eyes moist.

The babies were holding each others hand tightly and their fingers were entangled. Nandini bent down and kissed their tiny little palms followed by manik. Nandini next fed the other baby also and now both of them were sleeping still holding their hands.Manik laid down beside nandini who was lying beside their sleeping babies and said back hugging her and resting his chin on her shoulder and looking at their children sleeping peacefully

"nandu.. our baby girl na is just like you... see her eyes are soo big.. her lips are pouty just like that of yours and her smile.. vo toh tum sae bhi acchi hai... I just love her way too much.. and the boy.. aww.. vo bhi bilkul apni mumma pae hi gaya hai.. see.." and pointed at the baby boy had who clutched his sisters hand tightly .

nandini turned to him and said looking deep into his eyes "I don't know ki my daughter resembles me or not but I know ki my son is just like his dad.. have you seen his eyes.. they are just like that of yours.. and his lips.. his face cuts.. dekhna jab bada hoga apnae dad sae bhi zyada handsome banaega.." and winked at him.

He pulled her more closer and said "accha mujhsae zyada handsome.." and she nodded in a yes and dropped a kiss on the mole above his lips and said in a teasing tone

"toh tum ab apnae bate sae jealous ho..?" manik slammed his lips on her and said breaking the kiss "never.. how can I be jealous of my own blood.." nandini smiled and said

"you are the best father manik.." to which he pecked her lips and said "and you are the best mother and we have got the best kids..!"

"nandu what colour do you want to select for each of them.." mukthi said sitting in front of nandini on the sofa and aliya and navya followed.

"nothing in specific mukthi.. jo unpae accha lagae wahi..." nandini said totally confused.

"hmm.. ok go through the catalogue and see what would you prefer..." aliya said forwarding it to nandini and she turned the pages to find the best dress for her kids for the naming ceremony. Only two days were left and soo much preparation was still pending.

Aliya mukthi and navya went to manan's room to have a look at the babies and spend a little time with them... Cavya ran to nandini and said after settling herself comfortable in her mami's lap sucking her thumb

"malae liyae dless khaleed rahae ho mamii.. (marae liyae dress khareed rahae ho mami..?" nandini smiled and replied taking the thumb out of her mouth "ji haan.. aapkae liyae aur choate babies kae liyae.." cavya clapped her hands in excitement and asked looking at nandini

"mami.. mai babies kae paas jau..?" nandini was about to say something when aliya said coming from the room "nandu babies are crying I think they are hungry..." nandini picked up cavya and rushed to her room to feed the babies and said looking at the trio and cavya

"tum log neechae jao.. ill come down in a while.. jo tum logon ko acchae lagae vo sab short list kardaena.. we will final afterwards." They all nodded and moved down stairs.

Nandini placed the sleeping babies and adjusted pillows by their side so that they don't fall down even if they move and went down after kissing their foreheads gently.

"yaar I just want the best for both of them" nandini said looking at the catalogue and aliya mukthi and navya nodded in agreement.

"see this.." navya pointed at one of the pages and nandini smiled to the fullest and said "perfect.. navya final this.. what do you guys say.." and showed the same to mukthi and aliya and both agreed upon the same.

In maniks office :
"cabir can you give me that file which the event manager gave regarding the decorations and catering details.." manik asked looking at cabir and he gave him the file which manik asked for. Actually the day when manik came to know that nandini is pregnant he decided to stay with her in her each and every single step so he had arranged a special team to carry on the work in his absence headed by cabir and dhruv so that Mr.Malhotra's work burden reduces and cabir and dhruv who were very much ready to help did the same.

"cabir dhruv.. arrangements perfect honi chahiyae... this is the first function of my kids and I don't want even a slightest mistake.." manik said going through the file given by the event manager to him and cabir and dhruv smiled looking at manik who was extra careful regarding each and everything.

"sab vaisae hi hoga jaisae plan kiya tha.. you don't worry manik.."dhruv said placing his hand on manik's shoulder and manik smiled. Manik's phone rang and he smiled seeing the caller ID and immediately hid his excitement on the just mention on the name on his phone screen. He took his phone from the table and moved out of his cabin into the adjacent balcony and began talking to the person.

Cabir and dhruv looked at each other with confused faces as manik never hesitated to speak to anyone in front of them but why did he behave like this all of a sudden. They decided to ask him once he was done with his call.

Manik came and sat back on his chair smiling to his fullest seeing which dhrubir's curiosity increased more and cabir finally asked "whats going on in your mind manik..?" manik looked at him and said "nandu ko math batana.." and both nodded a YES and manik told them regarding the call and the trio hugged each other and manik rushed home to break the news to nandini.

Manik came and sat beside nandini who was looking at their babies who were sleeping peacefully cuddling her and said in a low tone after wrapping his hand around her shoulder

"nandu ek surprise hai tumharae liyae.." nandini immediately diverted her gaze towards him and raised her eyebrow asking him to continue and manik said

"hmm.. agar reveal kar diya toh what would I get in return..?" and winked naughtily at her. Nandini sighed seeing his never ending naughtiness and said in the same tone as manik

" tomorrow night im all yours.." . manik bent a little down and said pecking her lips "as if you are not today.." and hugged her tightly to which she giggled and said wrapping her hands around his neck " bolo whats the surprise..?" he thought for a while and said

"chillana math..."and she nodded a yes and manik continued "they are coming tomorrow.." and nandini's eyes widened in surprise and she said in a bit loud voice "scaahii...???" manik palmed her mouth and said yes..

Finally the day came :

Whole malhotra mansion was decorated and fab 5 abhi navya nandini nyonika raj nandini's chacha chachi everyone was running form here and there to do the last minute preparations as they guests would arrive in a while.

Manan were in their room getting ready and getting their children ready which became a herculean task as both were pulling each others clothes and were not leaving each others hands even for a moment.

Nandini sighed and said "manik yae dono bilkul tum pae hi gayae hai.. bilkul badmaash..." and again tried to make the baby boy the pants and he kicked his legs not letting her do so.

"accha as if you are a less troublesome person.. apni beti ko dekho.. she is not leaving his hand and yae gown kaisae pehanau mai.. bilkul ziddi hai tumhari tarah.." both looked at each other for a moment and got busy with their work again. And finally succeeded in the task of getting them dressed.

Nandini heaved a sigh of relief and said "finally kaam ho gaya.. you go and get ready.. mujhae thora time lagaega.." and rested her head with the headboard. Manik smiled and got up and said kissing her forehead "don't get worked up so much.. im there na.. how about having a shower together..?" and winked at her. She hit him and said in a serious tone "manik..." and manik made a pout like a kid who's candy was snatched and tapping his foot went to get ready.

"awww kitnae pyarae lag rahae hai dono.." aliya said looking at the baby manan who were now in the cradle in the middle of the hall . 

"bilkul nandu pae gayae hai dono... accha hua.." mukthi said and winked at manik and he rolled his eyes and nandini giggled.

"chalo chalo baccho... let us start the ceremony.." nyonika said looking at the kids and manan and both nodded accordingly. First there was a pooja to protect the children from all the evil forces and for their bright future and now the time to name them had come.

Navya came forward to tell the names of the babies in their ears first and then to announce the same as it was the ritual performed by children's fathers sister. First she bent to the baby girl and said the name in her ears and then announced saying 

"aaj sae humare bhai ki ladli beti ka naam hoga TARA MALHOTRA..." everyone hooted for her and now it was the baby boy's turn. Navya did the same and announced "aur aaj sae puri duniya humare bhatijae ko KRISH MALHOTRA kae naam sae bulayae gi..." manik immediately looked at nandini as they both decided the names of one child like manik the girls name and nandu the boys name and she didn't even mention this in her list. 

She winked at him and said "ji haan humara beta aaj sae Krish kae naam sae jana jayaega kyun ki.." and fab4 and navya stretched "kyu kii..." 

"kyun ki mare pati ko vo naam bahuth pasand hai.." and winked at manik and navya said 

"haan aur vo humare bhai ki tarah natkhat lal hoga..." and all laughed..Now manik came forward and said "and humari beti aaj sae Tara hogi jo bilkul apni mom ki tarah humare life ki shining star banaegi ... jo bilkul calm natured hogi...aur apnae naam ki tarah hi jahan bhi jayae roshini fehlayaegi..." manan side hugged each other when they heard the voice from behind

"sorry sorry we are thoda sa late..." a cute couple entered and immediately hugged nandini and said "I love you sooo much nanduuu .. I missed you..." nandini broke the hug and said "I also missed you soo much bhabhiii..." the girl smiled and nandini kept her hands on her waist and said "bhai.. you are late.. mai aap sae gussa hun.." and turned her face faking anger but the he came and stood beside her and started tickling her and nandini laughed saying 

"stop it... hahaha.. please... Kunj bhai...please stop it...hahahahaha..manikk..." and they finally stopped and hugged her tightly and said "ab bhi bhi gussa ho to which she nodded a no and all laughed seeing them.

"JAAN chalo lets go and see the kids first.." Kunj said looking at his JAAN his lovely wife and she nodded and the trio moved to look at the kids followed by manan.

"jaan thodi dino mai we will also have two super cute kids like this.." Kunj said looking at his JAAN and she blushed and nodded her head in a yes shyly and nandu teased her "kya Twinkle bhabhi.. abhi itnaaa blush.. hayeee..." and everyone around giggled.

"haan haan as if you blush less than her..kyu manik..?? batau sab ko tarae karname..??" Aaryaman jumped to the rescue of his bhabhi and now it was nandini's turn to blush into a little tomato. Manik wrapped his hand around her said 

"enough of talking now.. chalo lets have some food and then talk.. nandu and twinkle bhabhi you both will be targeted and no more bahanas today kyu bhai" and looked at Kunj for confirmation who nodded in agreement and all moved to the lawn to have their food as it was arranged outside in the lawn of the malhotra mansion.
