nandini was still sitting on the bed and thinking about manik's words when she got a call....she saw the caller id.....it was her papa....she wiped her tears and picked up the call......

call.....

nandini : haan papa......

avinash : princess....you have to come Delhi...it's urgent.....

listening to the urgency in his tone nandini got scared.......

nandini : what happened papa.....kuch hua hai kya.....is every thing all right.....

avinash : w-we lo-lost your mom......

nandini was numb to react.....she was not even shedding tears...it was as if she was not able to believe what her papa just said.......

avinash : princess....are you there.....

nandini ( broke out of the trance ) : haan papa......

avinash : i have already sent our private jet so you will have to leave to the airport.....

nandini : haan papa....i will leave right now.....

call ended.......

nandini quickly wore her clothes and rushed to her house.....after having a shower and packing her bag she left to airport........

malhotra mansion......

manik was sitting on a swing and staring aimlessly immersed in his thoughts.........

" it was not a mistake pari......hell it was the most beautiful night of my life......lekin dhruv.....uss ka kya......how will i face him......aur tum....tum tho ab mujhse nafrat karogi na.......i can never be able to see hatred in your eyes......i just can't......no manik you have to explain every thing to her.....yes i will confess every thing to her......after that it will be her choice.....whatever she will choose i will accept it....." thinking this manik got up from his place and left towards his room to talk to her........

he reached his room but did not found her there....he thought she went to her house so he too left to her house......after reaching her house he did not found her there too....he frantically searched for her in the entire house but she was still not found......hell worried on not being able to find her any where he called her..........

airport.......

nandini was waiting for the jet when she saw her phone ringing....she noticed the caller id to be manik.......she did not have any energy to deal with him right now so she just cut the call......but he again called her......listening to the announcement she switched her phone off and left to board her jet thinking to talk with manik later.......

she boarded the flight and reached Delhi......after exiting from the airport she saw cabir waiting for her....they both went to murthy mansion........

murthy mansion........

study room........

nandini entered the study room to see her father waiting for her......she moved towards him and choked while asking...." how...."

avinash answered..." she was coming in her car after attending a meeting in pune.....our rivals planted a bomb in her car.....while she was on her way...it  blasted....."

while listening to this nandini burst into tears.....her mother was snatched away from her......the only person who was there for her every time she needed......now she was also snatched away from her........

avinash..." we have to leave this country princess....it's not safe for us anymore....."

while for nandini she forgot to breath for a second.....they have to leave again.....that means she will have to leave MANIK...her mani.....the person she loves the most....no no how can she....she will not be able to live without her mani.........she can't.......

seeing his daughter's expressions avinash said...." i know princess you love manik...."

listening this nandini got shocked as to how he got to know......." don't look at me like that.....what did you think if you won't say to me i will not get to know about it.....i am your dad....i have every information about what happens around my daughter....."

nandini shook her head and replied...." nahi papa.... i can't live without manik....."

avinash made a serious face and replied...." do you want manik to end up like your mother...."

nandini looked down and nodded her head in no....." face it princess...even you know that him staying with you will only cause him trouble......"

nandini was just looking down...avinash sighed and said..." some times it's better to stay away from your loved ones if it is meant to keep they safe.....what if they are not staying with us....at least they will be alive......"

" and who knows the pain of loosing your love more than me....after all i have lost your mother....."

nandini said after thinking about some thing....." aap sahi hai papa it's better for me to stay away from manik......but i want to see him one last time.....i want to end every thing between us so that he can m-move on...." she choked while saying the last word......

avinash hugged his daughter and said....." i know my daughter is smart....she will always do the right thing...."

Mumbai.....

it's been two days nandini left....and manik was staying in his room.....he had not for once come out of his room in these two days......his guilt was becoming more and more.....meanwhile nandini came to Mumbai and directly went to meet dhruv......she narrated every thing to dhruv and asked him for help.....dhruv was more than ready to help her as he still considered her as his best friend.......but he was really feeling bad for manik....he asked her number of times to confess every every thing to manik.........

but nandini was stubborn.....she lost her mother only two days before and she was adamt on not loosing manik........but dhruv still wanted manik to know every thing so he messaged manik asking him to come to nandini's house saying it was urgent........

the first that came to manik's mind after reading dhruv's message was ....." is nandini alright..."...he grew even more worried and left to her house......

here after reaching her house manik got shocked seeing all the decorations around the house and number of people laughing and roaming around......fear crept in his heart as he was getting a faint idea about what was happening....but he did not want to believe any of that......taking slow steps he went to the garden of her house and got shocked seeing nandini putting engagement ring on dhruv's finger.......

he stood numb seeing his love getting engaged to his best friend....he wanted to stop them....he wanted to shout and tell every one that only he has the right on her.....he wanted to confess his love to her......but he stood there looking down controlling his tears......his guilt was not letting him confess.....

he thought that maybe nandini does not feel the same.....may be he will loose both their friendship by confessing his feelings......no he can't let that happen....his feelings were his problem and he will deal with them alone......

so he decided to take the easy way out.....he will not confess his feelings at all...all the people were happy except  three who were having different thoughts in their mind....they were nandini, manik and dhruv.......

" please don't leave me nandini....i love you...." manik thought looking at them painfully.....

" stop me manik....only you are the one for nandini....please stop me......." dhruv thought looking at the ring in his hand.........

" i am sorry manik.....but i don't deserve you....i can only give you pain....i will only put you in danger......" nandini thought while a lone tear slipped through her eye......

not able to see anymore manik walked out of there and also from their lives.........

manik was in tears reminiscing every thing......but suddenly he frowned as some thing came in his mind......" there is something i am missing.....you are hiding some thing from me pari....what is the danger you were talking about......you said Aryan is in danger....aisa kya hua tha ki  you had to send him to me.......i know you said that you will tell me every thing when you come back and i will wait for it......i trust you enough to know that it must be something really dangerous for you to leave me....so i will wait for you to return....." he said while wiping his tears......

a bright smile came on his face as he realized something..." Aryan is my son....our child.....that means i still have a chance to get  you back......i don't have to be worried about being separated from him........he will always live with me.....i will get my family back......our perfect family...." he thought and just then he had the sudden urge to see his son......he did not wait for even a second and rushed to his room.......

but he did not find him there.....a fear crept in heart as he was not able to find him......no he can't loose his son....he just got to know about him now......he went downstairs and sighed in relief as he watched his son sleeping on the sofa........

he went close to him and carefully observed his face......some of his son's features resembled his......he cursed himself for being such an idiot and not observing the similarities before.......

he sighed with pure happiness and ruffled his hair after kissing his cheeks then he scooped him in his arms and went towards his room......after laying him on his bed and covering him with a blanket...... he again looked at his face and planted a kiss on his forehead and turned to leave.....

but his hand was caught by a tiny hand.....his smile immediately turned into a frown as he turned to see his son having tears in his eyes........

" please don't leave me alone....." Aryan whispered with tears flowing through his eyes.....manik immediately sat on the bed and took his son in his arms....he gently wiped his tears and spoke lovingly...." don't worry baby papa is not going to leave you.....ever...."

Aryan cried hard and asked..." do you hate me...."

manik was surprised to hear him....he immediately spoke...." no baby ....papa doesn't hate you....in fact he loves you the most.....issliye now stop crying.....papa doesn't like tears in his baby's eyes...."

Aryan stopped crying and hugged manik and spoke in a low whisper...." i love you papa...."

listening his son manik just tightened his grip around his son and spoke..." papa loves you too baby....."

soon manik laid on the bed with Aryan on top of him and both drifted to sleep holding each other close and having a peaceful smile on their faces..................
