At Navya's house

Nandini was trying to wake up Navya but who cares? Navya watched a Korean drama the whole night and is now sleeping like a log.

Nandini:- Wake up you lazy ass.

When Nandini shook her, she said in a sleepy voice,

Navya:- Nandini, movie aside. I am about to kiss my favorite Korean actor Lee Jong-Suk and you are coming between us.

Nandini:- (angrily) That's it.

She looked around the room and found a glass of water on the bedside desk. She picked up the glass and threw the water on Navya. She immediately woke up and started shouting loudly,

Navya:- Tsunami, tsunami. Mamma help me, I am drowning.

Nandini pulled her into sitting position and said,

Nandini:- Just shut up and listen to me.

Then she told her about yesterday's incident. Navya was shocked to hear that and said,

Navya:- Okay, he saved you, that's absolutely fine. But why did he take your glasses with him? As far as I know he doesn't have sight and even if he has then that frem won't suit him. It was so girly.

Nandini:- Navya, I didn't tell you to elaborate my situation. I told you to go and bring my glasses back from him.

Navya:- Look Buddy, he saved your life twice, don't you think you should go and thank him?

Nandini:- I would have thanked him if I hadn't slapped me in the middle of the road.

Navya:- But it was your fault right?

Nandini:- (angrily) You are my best friend or his?

Navya:- (whispered) Unfortunately yours?

Nandini:- Then why are you sitting here? Go and get my glasses.

Navya:- I am scared.

Nandini:- Why so?

Navya:- He is our senior.

Nandini:- So what?

Navya:- If I go there seniors will definitely rag me. Your glasses, your headache. Spare me please.

When Nandini couldn't convince her to go there she tried to emotionally blackmail her. Well Navya is such an emotional fool. It's very easy to emotionally blackmail her.

They went to the senior's classroom and saw that boy sitting on the high bench and gossiping with his friends. Nandini pushed Navya a little to start the conversation,

Navya:- Excuse me, Manik sir.

Writer's pov:- Meet Manik Malhotra, our hero of the story. He is an extroverted boy. He is a school and college topper. Till now nobody could break his record not only in studies but also in sports. He loves painting and dancing is his hobby. In short he is a perfect guy and the whole college girls are totally flattered by him but he doesn't even talk to them. His best friend Cabir Dhawan handles girls for him. In short if any girl wants to talk to him she has to place the subject matter to his best friend first.

When Navya tried to talk to Manik, Cabir came between them and said,

Cabir:- Who are you? Didn't see you in this college before. New admission?

Navya gulped in horror and said,

Navya:- Yes, new admission.

Cabir:- Why do you want to talk to Manik?

Navya:- Actually yesterday morning, no no I mean yesterday after college he slapped.....

Before she could complete her sentence Nandini pinched her hard.

Navya:- Ouch. Your nails are so long. Why don't you cut them?

Manik was standing there crossing his arms around his chest and enjoying their drama.

Nandini:- Shut up and directly come to the point.

Navya:- If I shut up then how would I talk?

That's it Manik started laughing and said,

Manik:- You should go to some circus. Seriously you are not less than any joker.

Navya:- (angrily) What did you say? Look Mr. Senior, I am respecting you because you saved my friend twice otherwise.....

Cabir:- Otherwise what tiny girl?

Navya:- Seriously? How dare you call me a tiny girl?

Cabir:- Look at your height and talk.

Navya:- I am not short, okay? It's just that my height is cute.

Nandini knew that Navya could tolerate anything but not a word against her cute height. Now she won't stop arguing with him so she said,

Nandini:- I want my glasses back.

Manik:- What's the use of it?

Nandini:- I can't see anything clearly without my glasses.

Manik:- You can't see anything clearly with it either.

Nandini:- I just want my glasses back.

Manik:- I will return it only if you make it useful and next time cross the road after seeing both sides carefully.

Nandini:- I will keep that in mind. Now return my glasses.

Manik gave her glasses back and she was about to leave without thanking him so Manik said,

Manik:- Aren't you forgetting something?

Nandini:- I don't think so.

Nandini held Navya's hand who was still bricking with Cabir and left the place immediately.
