In Manjeet Life care Hospital

Today the hospital staffs were sitting well dressed without any whispering between them. Well, the reason is simple, their head, The Great Yashjeet Murthy was on rounds in the hospital and they were hell scared thinking if he fire them. He is a person with attitude when it comes to business..He can never tolerate any kind o nuisance in his business world. He would even fire a doctor if any patient complaints about that particular doctor without rethinking..

While on the other side, Nandini was in her cabin praying to her God..

Nandini ( nervously ): Dadi ki Rab Ji..aaj meri zindagi ka sabse important din hai, aaj mein apne DJ ke samne jaaoongi, mujhe nahi patha main kese handle kar paaoongi khudko unhe dekhne ke baad..Mujhe rulana math haan..haa haa..main bohath strong hoon par yahan mein apne DJ ko pehli baar dekhne wali hoon, wo bhi meri zindagi ki 23 saalon mein pehli baar..tho please mere madad keejiye..

The next moment after finishing her prayer she got the answer for it in the form of a phone call which brought a smile on her face..

Nandini ( smiled ): Kya bath hai..ithni subah subah Mr. Mahotra..

Manik ( smiled ): Ab meri pyari Nandu ithni subah subahi ithna bada kaam karne wali hai tho mujhe call karke bolna chahiye na ki zyada tension math kha..huh ?

Nandu ( bit her lips ): Mein..koi tensed..nahi hoon..

Manik ( smirked ): Really baby girl..?

Nandu ( sighed ): Huff..acha fine..I am..par kya karoon..insaan hoon na..

Manik ( chuckled ): Haa patha hai..bas ye sochna tum ki jo bhi hoga dekha jayega..patha hai mom kya kehthi hai, ache log ko bhagwan bohath pasandh karthi hai isiliye unke saath kuch bura nahi hone denge God, aur tu tho unka favourite hai isilye wo tumhari har wish poora karega..trust me..

Nandu ( smiled widely ): I trust you Mani..

His smile turned more huge. Whenever she says that she trusts him, he feels like nothing can go wrong in his life..

Manik ( smiled ): I know, and I have faith in you, so just go for it..and kill it..

She smiled and kissed him through phone..

Manik ( flirted ): Iss..kash mein waha hotha, isse bhi bada le loonga..

He said it dramatically making her chuckle..

Nandini ( giggled ): You are impossible Mani..Acha teek hai, mein rakhthi hoon..DJ already aa chuke hai..

Manik ( smiled ): Teek hai..All The Best soon-to-be Mrs. Malhotra..

Nandini ( blushed ): Thank You Mr. Malhotra..

After finishing the call, she felt a little more confident..She kept her mibile in the pocket and moved out of her cabin..

Yashjeet and Sooraj had just finished their rounds in the ICU when Yashjeet felt thirsty..

Yash: Sooraj..tum mere liye kuch PaNi lao..

Sooraj: Ji Papa..Aap yaha beithiye..

Yashjeet nodded and sat on a chair while Sooraj went to get water..

Nandini was walking towards Sooraj's cabin when she saw Yash sitting on a chair.. Her eyes went teary.. Seeing your grandfather for the first time in your life wont be understandable by everyone as most of them would have seen their grand parents in childhood which is a time when we don't know the value of relationships. But Nandini being 23 years and seeing her Grand father for the first time in life and that too after knowing that he is in a fight with her Dad is painful..She was keep on looking at him for sometime but then she came out of her trance due to the whispering behind her, the nurses were just telling how scared they are after seeing the boss..Nandini could just chuckle while she saw her DJ sitting there with an annoyed expression..She thought for sometime time and smirked..She went forward with tiny steps and reached near him but not so close, he could just see her..

While Yash who was annoyed thinking where the hell did his son vanish as he was asked only to get a glass of water not to make a well of water..He was just looking at the way the staffs were working when his eyes caught a sight..His eyes went wide and he couldn't even move..He was looking at that place with only shock written on his face..

Yash ( whispered ): Manji...

It was Nandini in a traditional attire who was doing something a file in her hand or pretending to do read it..While Yash was just looking at her with wide opened mouth..His wife had passed away years back, when his kids were small..then how come he is seeing her alive in front of him..He took his glass off and started rubbing his eyes and then again wore it and looked at that place but there was no one..He roamed his eyes around every corners of that place but no, there wasn't a single glance of her's..

Yash ( sighed ): Huff..looks like I have started hallucinating about you Manji..hmm..ab tho tumhare paas aane keliye zyada waqt bhi nahi lagega, hai na..ab hamara khothe puthar kaha chala gaya..

Soon Sooraj came with water and gave it to Yash who was glaring at him. He smiled sheepishly..

Sooraj ( grinned ): Sorry Papa ji..pani khatham ho gayi thi..aapki gaadi mein bhi nahi thi..

Yash ( confused ): Par aaj subahi Hema ne gaadi mein pani rakh liya..

Sooraj ( interrupted ): Nahi Papa ji..pani nahi thi..khair chodo..aap pani peelijiye..

Yash nodded and drank the water while Sooraj just sighed in relief..Soon the duo started their rounds again..

While Nandini who was hiding till now came out..

Nandini ( smiled ): Sorry DJ..Aapko takleef dena nahi chahthi thi, par aivayi aap mere Appa ko maaf nahi karega isiliye hum thak pohchaane keliye mujhe aise bohath saara drama karna padegi..Isiliye chote Papa ko Pani laane mein der bhi lagaya..

She hurriedly went to her cabin and started her next plan..

While Sooraj started showing the doctors' cabins to Yashjeet. He checks the cabins to see the cleanliness..

Sooraj ( in his heart ): Maa ki Rab ji..bacha leejiye..patha nahi meri beti kya karne wali hai ki wo uska chote papa ko bali dena chahthi hai..

Praying this he took his Papa to a cabin where Yash read the name and got surprised..Tho board read " Dr. Nandini Murthy "..

Sooraj: Aayiye Papa..

They entered the cabin and saw a girl sitting on her table indulged in a file..Sooraj cleard his throat..

Sooraj ( professionally ): Hello Dr. Murthy..

The girl looked up and Yash's eyes again went wide..He thought he was hallucinating again..

Yash ( murmured ): Phirse Manji..Nahi..ye nahi ho saktha..

The girl smiled and got up and went towards the duo who were looking at her with different expressions, one was with confusion while the other one was scared..

Girl ( sweetly ): Hello Doctor..This might be my boss..right Doc..?

Sooraj ( acted ): Yes Miss Murthy..aah Papa meet her..Doctor Nandini Murthy..

While Yash was still thinking he was hallucinating..Suddenly he noticed her dress..

Yash ( thought ): Manji, aise kapdon mein..

While Nandini folded her hands and smiled..

Nandini: Nice to meet you..

Yash got surprised..She was looking exactly like his late wife but she was wearing modern which his wife has never worn in her life but at the same time the girl standing in front of him knows to behave traditionally as well as professionally..So he wasn't hallucinating..what the..A lookalike of his wife..

Yash: Uh..nice to meet you too..

Yash nudged Sooraj but he wasn't understanding anything in this situation..

Yash ( sighed ): Uh..I haven't seen you here before..

Nandini ( smiled ): Oh, I am new here..I have just joined a month before..

Yash nodded and checked the surroundings to be clean..He felt some kind of pride on this girl standing in front of him..He felt some connection with her..She isn't a lookalike..

Nandini ( interrupted ): I hope, everything is fine..I mean the cabin..you found anything bad in here..?

Yash ( smiled ): No..Everything is good, in fact perfect..

Nandini smiled widely..She has been praised before too but now she felt out of the world..This happiness is something she can't name or rate..

Nandini: Thank You..

Yash ( smiled ): And it even looks like you are someone who likes to keep everything perfect..

Nandini ( smiled ): I really don't know about it but I am just following my father.. He always says that " If one's surrounding is perfect then his heart will automatically gets perfect "..

Yash looked at her in shock..It was something that Manjeet always taught their kids..How come this girl knows what his wife teaches their children..

Yash ( suspicious ): From where did your father learn it..?

Nandini ( shrugged ): His parents..He teaches me what his parents taught him..

Yash could just nod..

Sooraj ( looked at Nandini ): Tho chalein..

Nandini blinked her eyes in Yes and he sighed in relief..Sooraj looked at Yash who was lost in deep thoughts..He shook him..

Yash ( looked at Sooraj ): Huh..

Sooraj: Shall we leave..?

Yash: Hmm..

Yash looked at Nandini..He couldn't understand the meaning of the relationship he shares with Nandini that he isn't even ready to leave her..He smiled at her while what she did made him shock..She bent to his feet and touched them..

Yash : Arey ye kya kar rahi ho..

Nandini rose to her feet and smiled at him..

Nandini ( smiled ): You are just like my grandfather..My mother always taught me to take blessings whenever we meet someone much elder to us..Your blessings will give me happiness in future..

Yash smiled widely and kept his hand on her head while Nandini had slight tears in her eyes which she blinked them off..Sooraj was smiling but at the same time in tears..How much he has wished to see it in front of his eyes..

Yash ( smiled ): Khush raho beta..

Nandini could just nod..Yash got out of the cabin with Sooraj but he was also looking back time to time to look at her..Sooraj dropped him in the car..

Sooraj: Kya hua Papa..aap khoye hue lagthe the..

Yash ( sighed ): Hame ghar jaana chahiye Sooraj..

Sooraj ( surprised ): Mujhe bhi..?

Yash ( nodded ): Hmm..mujhe tumse bath karna hai..

Sooraj nodded but with a scared look..But he wanted to check on Nandini..

Sooraj: Papa..kya mein andhar jaa sakthe..bas 5 minutes lagega..

Yash ( narrowed his eyebrows ): Kyu, tujhe kya kaam hai..

Sooraj ( stammered ): Uh..kuch nahi..bas saare staffs ko work shuru karnekeliye kehna tha..agar mein koi warnings nahi di na, tho hungama hi hojayega..

Yash ( sighed ): Wo sab baad mein..ab yahi zaroori hai..tum gaadi mein baith jaa..

Sooraj nodded helplessly and sat in the car and they drove away..

While Nandini was sitting on the couch in her cabin with tears in her eyes..She would be brave enough in front of her family but when she gets alone she would shed her tears, she never wanted anyone to see this side of her's..From nowhere, she felt getting cocooned in someone's arms..

Nandini ( gasped ): Mani..

Manik couldn't work properly in office today..He knew that she will be crying her heart out today, not if in front of her family but then she wouldn't hide herself in front of him..So he decided to meet her..Just when he saw Yashjeet Murthy's car getting out of the hospital gate, he entered the hospital and went straight to Nandini's cabin.

He entered the cabin, only to see her shedding silent tears which pricked his heart..He closed the door and sat on the couch and took her on his lap and hugged her making her gasp..

Manik ( softly ): Shh..agar rona hai tho mujhe koi problem nahi..tujhe patha hai na ki I won't judge so just let it out..I know my baby girl well..

That was enough for her to cry hard..She hid herself in his chest and cried. Her tears weren't stopping. While Manik was kissing her head time to time..After some time she got calmed..

Manik ( raised her chin ): Feeling better..?

She nodded at him..

Nandini ( still in his arms ): I met my DJ today, Mani..You know, he is just like Appa..An arrogant man to the world but so damn sweet with his family..Today I saw his sweeter side too..He never showed it to the world except Daadi, Bhayyus and Appa but today he was sweet with me too..

Manik ( smiled ): That's because he was talking to his grand daughter..

Nandu ( confused ): But he doesn't know it right..

Manik ( pulled her cheeks ): Meri pagli baby girl..tum unki beewi ki yaani ki tumhari Daadi ki xerox copy hai, tho wo tumhare saath bitterly kaise bahave kar sakthe aur uske saath saath, jane ya na jane, tum ho hi pothi unki tho wo sweetly hi bath kar sakthe hai..

Nandini nodded cutely..

Nandini ( curiously ): Waise tum yaha kese..

Manik ( coolly ): Mujhe patha tha..poore hindusthan ke samne ' Main hoon brave girl ' banke rahegi par jab akeli hojathi tho saare bravery kachda mein daalkar aansu bahake rahegi..

Nandini made an ' O ' shape mouth and slapped his arms making him chuckle but then she smiled and hugged him..

Nandini ( smiled ): What am I supposed to give in return for this support and care of yours..

Manik ( smiled ): Only this smile of yours, it lightens my life so just don't lose it, you would make me sad then, which you would never wish to..

She smiled brightly and they stayed in each others' arms..Sometimes silence gives much peace than how much we could think..

But all these things were heard and seen by someone else too..8 pairs of eyes they were..The Murthy Brothers who came to check on their baby sister as they were asked to meet her only after Yash leaves by Nandini herself..
