Nandini was already on the bed but wasn't sleeping..She was just recalling today's events..

Nandu: Today was one of the best day of my life..I met Pops and Nyoni mumma..I had always wished to meet them..Appa and mumma was the main reason for it, they kept on saying about how loving and helpful they are, and how they became the reason for their ( Shekhar and Shamishti) relationship..they were called true and best friends, and see I met them today..naa I had met them before also, but stupid me I couldn't recognize them.

Suddenly she heard " BEEP " from her mobile. It was a message from Manik. She smiled brightly..

Nandu: Manik..what is this feeling that i always have when he is around me ? Why do I smile this much, no sometimes I could even feel my cheeks heating up just with the thought of him..It never happened with me before..Why and What is it ? Do I like him ?

Just the thought of liking Manik made her smile again..She got up with a jerk..

Nandu: Kya mein sach mein usse pasand karthi hoon ?

She was getting all nervous and restlessness was clearly seen on her face..She got out of the bed and went outside and knocked her parents' room door. Shamishti opened the door with a yawn and also a worried face..

Shamishti: Shona kya hua..ithni..

Nandu ( whispered ): Shh mumma..mein teek hoon..pls come with me..

She nodded and went with her..They both went to Nandu's room and she made Shamishti sit on her bed and lied on her lap.

Shamishti: Tujhe baath karni hai ?

Nandu ( surprised ): Aapko kese patha ?

Shamishti: Maa hoon mein tumhari..9 mahine ye kok ( womb ) mein paala hai uske baad 23 saalon se aur teri shaadi hone thak tere dekh paal karoongi..samaj sakthi hoon mein tujhe..

Nandu ( grinned ): Mujhe doubt hai..

Shamishti: Aur wo kya hai ?

Nandu: Mumma, humein kese patha ki hum kisiko pasanth karthe hai ya nahi ?

Shamishti ( surprised ): Tu esa kyu puch rahi hai ?

Nandu: Bas ese hi Mumma..

Shamishti: Hmm..tu hamesha uske baare mein sochegi, jo wo kare wo tumhe khush karegi, tujhe hamesha ussee ko sunna acha legegi..esa koi hai tho samaj lo tum usse pasand karthi ho..

Nandu smiled widely, yes she always gets happy when he is around, whatever he does, let it be something small or big, it makes her happy, she always thinks about him..SHE LIKES HIM..

Nandu got up and hugged her mumma..

Nandu: I love you mumma..

Shamishti: I love you too..ab so jao..

She nodded, Shamishti got up and kept the quilt on her and moved to the door but said

Shamishti: Agar tere dil mein koi hai par tujhe apne feelings samaj nahi aa rahi hai tho bas aankhe bandh karo aur apna haath dil pe rakho, agar tujhe uska chehra dikhaya tho feelings positive hai warna nahi..Good Night baby..

She went while Nandu wasn't shocked, she knew her mumma would understand her..she did exactly like her mumma said..the moment she closed her eyes, she saw only Him, only Manik, his smiling face..She opened her eyes with a smile

Nandu: I LIKE HIM, I LIKE MANIK...

She rolled over the bed but suddenly got up with a jerk

Nandu: But Bhayyus, mein tho promise kiya tha apne aap se ki mein usse shadi karoongi jise bhayyus pasandh kare, like hi tho love ban jaathe hai, tho I am FALLING for Manik, mathlab Bhayyus..oho Nandu Manik is a good guy, so Bhayyus will accept him..But does he like me ? iI should find out..jo bhi ho ab sona hai..good night..

She slept after a great difficulty, after all side effects of liking a guy for the first time wont be so easy.

Next morning

Nandu and Shekhar were jogging in a park..

Nandu ( nervous ): Appa..mujhe aapse kuch poochna hai..

Shekhar: Tujhe kab se permission lene ke zaroorat padi..

Nandu: Jabbhi mein aapse kuch aesa mangoongi jo aapko thakleef dethe hai..

Shekhar: Aisa kuch ho hi nahi saktha..tu bol..

Nandu ( said in one go ): Ihavetogoforcamping..

Shekhar: Dheere dheere bol, tu kya Rajdhani express hai ?

Nandu: I have to go for camping..

He stopped jogging and looked at her..She was making a cute puppy face..

Shekhar: Arey you have already gone for camping in London, its not a big deal..how many days..2 or 3 ?

Nandu: Uh..its 10 days..

Shekhar ( shouted ): WHAT ?

Nandu: Pls appa, mujhe jaana hai..bas 10 din ke liye hai..

Shekhar: You are not going..

Nandu: Appa its important for my job..

Shekhar: 10 din mein tumhare bina kese rah paoonga ?

She smiled at her child-like Dad and holded his hand..

Nandu: Bas 10 din ke liye jaa rahi hoon, mein aapko har din 3 baar phone karoongi jese mein khana khathi hoon..aur video chat bhi karrogi..pls Appa..I badly wanted to go..

He nodded after a long silence, she hugged him in response..They continued their jogging and reached their home. Shekhar got inside but before Nandu could go inside a hand pulled her by waist and pinned her on the wall..She closed her eyes in fear but soon recognized the touch..She wispered ' Manik '

Yes, it was Manik Malhotra..He couldn't sleep properly since she didn't message him back, she never does it, what happened to her, he wanted to know whether she is safe or not so he just came to her house and saw her coming with her Dad after jogging, without thinking twice he pulled her, but was shocked to know that she could recognize his touch..

Manik: Nandu..

She opened her eyes only to drown in those chocolaty eyes..He hugged her tightly..

Manik: Are you alright ?

Nandu: Mujhe kya hoga ? I am fine..

Manik ( angry ): Then why didn't you reply to my message ? Do you have any idea how worried I was ?

Nandu: Manik relax, I am sorry..( she was so into her world thinking she likes Manik and forgot to reply him ) Umm..I was talking with Mumma and I just forgot..

Manik: Ithni raat ko ?

Nandu: Haa, we used to have casual talks at night..

Manik: Fine..but don't repeat it okay ?

Nandu: Aye aye captain..

He smiled at her, suddenly they realized their position. they were so close, his hands were on her waist and her hads wer on his chest, they moved away from each other..

Mnaik: Umm, bye Nandu..

Nandu: Yh bye Manik..

He was about to go but turned back and kissed her forehead and whispered " take care " and rushed from there while Nandu was shocked at first and then smiled..

In the afternoon

Nandu was dropped in her bus by Shekhar which was arranged by Sooraj, he had to make a camp just to show Shekhar thet there is a real camping going on if by chance he comes to enquire about Nandini..

The bus travelled a bit and stopped at a distance where another bus was stopped, she got in to that bus and the next moment was crushed into her brothers' chest..

Asad: WELCOMe princess..we are finally going for a trip together..

Rithvik: Like you wished..

She could just smile in tears and nod at them..she turned to Malhotras and greeted them..She saw Manik and smiled at him in return got a beautiful smile of his..
